We came here because RVC Lanes had too long of a wait, since it was league night. No one expects much from a bowling alley, how bad can it be right? Well, Baldwin Lanes is pretty dirty and outdated. The bowling balls are all chipped up, don't even bother with the arcade. But that's fine, it's just a bowling alley. Except that the bowl kept getting stuck back in the gutter and wouldn't come back. Had to constantly ask one of the only 2 employees who work there to go fetch the ball in between them hanging lights or whatever else they were doing. Pretty bad experience. Just go somewhere else, it's not worth it. It's the same price of an actual nice lane. read more

I must say the night was a hit. Your staff and management was very warm and welcoming. Every need we had tonight was met. Everyone from the vegetarians in our party to the music selection the house dj played we were very pleased. As we leave your establishment we leave with a unanimous consensus that we will return soon. I must give my personal recommendation to our hostess and bartender. Tips were not enough showering of gratitude so I had to write this letter to share with you and the owner of this great family friendly establishment how pleased we were. I recently had a fundraiser here, and it was great. Joe the manager was very helpful, and Brenda the special events coordinator was terrific. they provided everything they promised and more! we had participants both young and old, and all had a great time. the young kids had a wonderful time, as they had access to the "thingy" that aims and rolls the ball, as it is too heavy for them to lift and roll. also, the bumper guards are built in now, so that was a real help for the kids. it was catered, and the food was terrific. I have had fundraisers there before, and will definitely have them there again. everyone really enjoyed themselves, and the place. read more

We just took our students on a field trip to Baldwin Bowling Center. They had our students names in the computer already for us so no wait time. The people who worked there were so very helpful with putting bumpers up or down. The people were very kind and patient with dealing with such a large amount of kids. I definitely would recommend Baldwin Bowling for a class trip or parties. Thank you, my students really had a great time!!!!! read more

The lanes are awful, as the sensors rarely worked. The whole computer system is trash as the game would constantly shut off and stop working. On top of that, the place is ridiculously expensive and definitely not worth the money. read more

Had an amazing time last week with my kids!! The environment was great as well as the food with such a great menu. The staff was friendly and they just installed black leather couches as well as flat screen tvs in the entire place, a must see. Definitely going back with my family next week read more

I was very disappointed with the service provided for our party Saturday night. The bowling alley itself was old and dingy, with ripped seating and not attractive as in the advertisement. We arrived on time and the $100 lounge room was dark and cold, totally not what I pictured at all nor worth the money paid. The balloons looked as if they were left over from a toddlers party and there was no welcome sign no where to be found as you had mentioned. The food presentation looked nothing at all like your advertisement. The food was room temperature, the buffalo wings were over cooked and the fries were cold and wilted. I asked them to at least to replace the cold fries, which they did. There was only one girl running all the parties that night, plus bartending. She tried her best trying to accommodate us being short staffed and all. After that, they set us up for bowling. Our names were not listed or prepared as you mentioned when you asked for the names in my party and half way through our bowling session, we were inconveniently moved over to another lane to accommodate another party that complained that we were in their way. The lanes also shut down on us before we can finish our games. I upset with myself for not going to the facility prior to booking. I paid a lot of money to show my staff how much they are appreciated and this was quite embarrassing to say the least. I recently booked a party for my son at the bowling alley. I did so after he went with his camp over the summer and loved it. The staff was very helpful, and the services provided are going to be a huge help! The bowling alley takes care of everything, which makes it easier on parents. Came for a large birthday party of 25+ people taking the private party room and 5 lanes. The private room was pretty cool, they had my friends name on the tv screen wishing him a happy bday and nice couches. We had the "Party Platter" which included, quesadillas, fries, nacho supreme, and mozzarella sticks. The Grande Nacho Platter came in a pretty decent portion with plenty of cheese. Everyone was happy with the food and we were checked on by staff and they brought out more sauce for us. We also got the slider platter, which was good, but they forgot the pickles. The highest scoring bowler got a free t shirt. Some of us were jealous so they gave us more shirts without charging us! The staff were very courteous and they knew what they were doing. It was pretty clean and they had plenty of staff to help us with whatever we needed. The bar staff was quick and made strong drinks. Drinks were reasonably priced as well, so I had an excuse to get inebriated on a weeknight. Overall fantastic time and definitely will be back when I'm visiting on the island. read more

I went on a groupon a few months ago. It was my second time going on a groupon. the first time we received pizzeria pizza (actually delivered by a pizzeria), the second time we received frozen single serve pizza (not edible by adults, but if your kids aren't picky they may eat it, mine did). When I asked why did we get frozen pizza this time an employee insisted that we received frozen pizza both times..Due to the price of the Groupon I'm sure the first time we probably received the pizzeria pizza in error, but it was rude for the employee to insist that it was impossible. I would go back on a Groupon for the price, but I would eat first. All in all the place looks ok and we had a good time read more

This used to be a decent place to bowl. The lane malfunctions are a complete turn off. You hit a couple of pins then the computer says you bowled a strike/spare. Service is mediocre at best. Its poor quality and maintenance. No thanks. read more

After reading all of these negative reviews i expected much less of this place. Baldwin bowl proved me wrong. I walk into the Bowling Alley, with a friendly face greeting me at the front desk. My kids birthday party starts, and the hostess was taking care of the whole party, i just relaxed and took cute pictures of my kids bowling with all their friends. The food was very good, all the kids enjoyed the chicken nuggets, fries and pizza. Once the Parents came to pick their kids up they all complimented me on the party and couldn't wait to have their kids party there! Overall 10/10! Definitely reccomend! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I went to this bowling alley only because my friends wanted to bowl and my local bowling alley was completely full. The moment we walked in we should have seen this place was trouble. They overcharged me, there is crap all over the floor, the bowling area is a complete mess and the guy at the counter has a bad attitude and talks down to people like if you are stupid. We bowled one game and almost at the end without warning went into cosmic bowling, when I asked for my money for the remaining games he looked at me as if surprised I wasn't having fun. Just as Marcel G stated (and I do not know Marcel personally), if there were no stars I would rate this place a ZERO. I live in Nassau County and my husband and 7 year old grandson went there on Saturday, Mar 5, 2016 around 7pm to bowl - after calling first to see if they had lanes open - which they said they did. My husband paid $50 for the two of them - total rip off compared to other alley's in our area which only charge $4 per game, however, to top that off, the bowling shoes they gave my grandson were totally rippped up and the lane they were assigned to was filthy - someone had spilled soda all over the place and it was not cleaned up. When my husband went to the front desk to complain, the worker, gave HIM paper towels and told him to clean it up! WHAT? Are you kidding me? My husband told our grandson to take off the shoes, gave them back and asked for a refund and went to the bowling alley in Garden City. Are you KIDDING me? I called, asked for a manager, was told by Eric (the guy who answered the phone) the manager was not available. He then put Charlie on the phone who said he works "closely" with the manager but was not the manager. ALL BS if you ask me. DO NOT waste your money on this place - go somewhere else. Not only are their prices much higher than other alleys, this place is a dump and bottom line - THEY DON'T care! read more
