Based on my latest service visit, I will NEVER use Hill-York again. In my case I was quoted $360 for a two-hour minimum call plus materials. After the tech was at my apartment for 1.5 hours, I received a charge for $565 which was for an additional hour ($145) and a $60 materials charge for "topping off" the coolant. Then when I called to get it straightened out, Chris - the tech manager was rude and confrontational. Even after I received a call from the VP of Service their response was to (grudgingly) remove the $145 - and they made me feel like they were doing me a favor despite the fact that the tech was only there for 1.5 hours. It really feels like they don't care about their residential customers and only do the service work to offset their corporate business. My unit will need to be replaced in 1-2 years (according to their tech) and I will NOT be calling Hill-York to do that work! Sorry guys, you really should learn how to treat a customer...

Both gentlemen were very nice and they did a great job taking away the old unit and putting the new unit on a new pad and plumbing in the ducting and drain pipe. I called the manager and spoke to him regarding the poor advice received in regards to replacing the toilets, and he said they would send a second technician to assess the situation. Instead, he sent me a message stating that the initial technician was right and did not send another technician to assess . I ended up going with a different company who came and replaced the valve ...which successfully lowered my water bill by 50%. Problem fixed - without having to replace the entire toilet. I was initially a fan of NSP, but this last visit was very disheartening. I think if they had sent a second technician to evaluate what I was concerned about, they would have seen that the first technician was indeed wrong. I will not be using them again.

I got a call from Joe the morning asking if he could come by earlier because it was supposed to rain in the afternoon and if it rained, he wouldn't be able to work on our unit. My AC Coil had a leak and need it to be replaced. Greg from Supa Air came to my house and gave me an estimate to replace my AC Coil. My AC coil is still under warranty and the estimate from Supa Air to replace the Coil was $2,600. I advised Greg at Supa Air that I will be getting other prices since his price seemed to high. I found a competitor that will do the work with the warranty for $700. I when ahead and hired the competitor to do the work and when the competitor proceeded to make the claim with the warranty at Carrier they were advised that Supa Air (Greg) had already placed the claim and had picked up the Coil from them. I never authorized Supa Air (Greg) to place any claims with the Carrier company. Now Greg at Supa Air won't cancel the claim and won't return the Coil back to Carrier. Supa Air now wants me to pay them a fee and pick up the Coil from their warehouse. I will be hiring an attorney and suing Supa Air for their unethical practices. Avoid Supa Air and save yourselves lots headaches.
