When my friend told me about the red light therapy I was a little skeptical about it but I went and tried it with her. I have been dealing with pain and lack of mobility on my index finger for more than a year and a half. It is also constantly swollen. My doctors are not sure what is wrong, the MRI came out normal. I recently ruptured a disk in my back. My name is Noah M. and I am a 21 year old college Football player for the University of Idaho State. During our thanksgiving break in 2020, on November 29th, I was cleaning my gun at my house in the garage and it accidentally went off and put a hole through my left thigh. The bullet ripped through my thigh and destroyed my femoral artery and my femoral nerve in that leg. Brooke saved my life. She literally saved my life. I was diagnosed with pancreatitis and spent 5 days in the ICU, with pain so unbearable it is all a blur now because I was taking intravenous delaudid every couple hours. Once my elevated A1Cs and blood sugar and irregular heart rhythms were under control, I was placed in my own room in the hospital to recover from pancreatitis. After a week of hourly supervision, consultations from multiple doctors, copious amounts of medication, my pancreatitis was not improving and the pain was still on a level of 8 out of 10 and I was unable to move without experiencing excruciating pain. My brother referred me to Brooke, who I had spoken with about light therapy in social situations, and I decided to try it since everything else the hospital was doing for me was not helping my pain or my health. Brooke placed a light panel right on my pancreas and under her supervision I underwent an intense double session of light therapy. It was not painful, but I did feel some heat, and any pressure to my pancreas did cause some pain, so I was uncomfortable during the session and toughed it out. I had taken blood tests for serum amylase and lipase, CBC, bilirubin and liver function tests and they had remained stagnant for a week, but the day after light therapy, all my levels were improving. I immediately booked another session with Brooke to see if this was a coincidence or the light therapy was helping me when traditional medicine wasn't. My levels were stagnant again after the initial improvement then Brooke came back for another double session, and again, the next day all my levels improved again. Long story short, after 3 and a half weeks in the hospital, I was finally cleared to go home. This happened in November and today, almost 3 months later, I am down 100lbs and all my liver functions and pancreas levels are normal, I am no longer on insulin and my life has changed around.
