I was hoping for a relaxing and stress-free experience, but unfortunately it turned into one of the most upsetting customer service experiences I've ever had. The problems started the moment I walked in. I was immediately asked if I had an appointment, and when I provided my confirmed 11:45 a.m. booking, I was told there was "nothing scheduled" for me. I then showed them the text confirmations I had received. First, I was told I must have called and canceled. When I questioned that, the story suddenly changed to me supposedly calling and moving the appointment to 3:30 p.m. -- which never happened. At that point, I already felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, but things got worse when I asked about payment. My daughter had gone in person the day before and prepaid for the treatment as a gift for me. Despite this, I was told the service had NOT been paid for and that I would need to pay again. I called my daughter on speakerphone, and she immediately provided proof of the credit card charge. The younger receptionist was eventually able to locate and confirm the payment, but another staff member continued insisting that no payment had been made. She repeatedly stated that prepaid services always come with a gift card and claimed I should have had one. My daughter then called the spa directly to explain she was never given any gift card. It eventually became clear that the payment information had been written down improperly and they had no idea which appointment the payment belonged to. By that point, I was completely overwhelmed and left the spa in tears. Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled was unprofessional, disorganized, and incredibly dismissive. Instead of trying to resolve the issue calmly, I was repeatedly made to feel like I was somehow at fault despite having proof of both the appointment and the payment.
