I found the Happy Valley branch ( much closer to my new home) to be every bit as friendly, helpful, bend-over-backwards as the Belmont one. ​This must be a Rivermark trait, to hire people who smile and are competent and efficient. I initially opened accounts at a Canby-based credit union, but they treated me as an annoyance and no one ever smiled. If all you ever need is a kiosk and can do all your banking online, this probably isn't a big deal, but if you need to conduct business that involves face-to-face transactions such as power of attorney or notarization of documents, Rivermark is the gold standard of banks.

I jump through every hurdle for them and even went as far to giving them notice I was going out of town. AND THIS BRANCH INTENTIONALLY LOCKED MY DEBIT CARD , just to ensure my trip would be nothing but an uphill battle. Me and my INFANT DAUGHTER can't even rent a vehicle or so much as buy a bus ticket. And they did this on purpose after I left , because they didn't like my willingness to call them out on there constant need to invade my privacy, and lock my account whenever it's convenient to them . I've never had the displeasure of being around more rude and unprofessional people. Please, do yourself a favor, and go ANYWHERE BUT HERE . The owner should be ashamed.
