This winter our hot tub stopped working so we called an electrician to check it out. When they successfully got 220v power to it, it exploded. Yep, it blew the side off the tub and was deemed unrepairable. The next day, Mulvihill examined the damage and within a few days confirmed that they'd covered it and have it replaced. We'll have our new one installed once the weather warms up a bit. Ten or so years ago our washing machine hose broke which flooded our hardwood and tile floors. They immediately got a restoration company to come and dry out the rooms and floors. Shortly thereafter, Mulvihill had replaced the hardwood floors (even areas that weren't ruined, because it would have been impossible to match color and wood exactly), and retiled the kitchen floor. Years ago, a wind gust blew a metal ladder in my garage onto my Audi, breaking the windshield and damaging the window frame. Mulvihill recommended the best auto repair shop in town where it was fixed to my complete satisfaction. In my opinion, Collin Mulvihill and Rick Beery have always treated me more than fairly and have provided a quick response to my claims. I'm a big believer in working with people whom you can sit down and discuss issues, rather than connecting with someone over the phone that may not 'feel your pain' when a problem arises. Our relationship was fine until I wanted to cancel my policy. I had paid my premium on time every…read moremonth and never filed a claim. I moved to Oregon and bought a new car. I called Robert to cancel my policy the day before it was set to renew for the following month. About a week later, I received an email stating my payment didn't go through. I responded that I had canceled my policy. About 2 month later, I received a message stating that my account has been sent to collection. I was very surprised and frustrated by this. I emailed Robert asking if he could get this taken care of. Unfortunately, he responded that since my policy was no longer active ( I am not a current customer) and since it had already been sent to collections there was nothing he could do and advised me to reach out to the collection agency. This was extremely disappointing and not an acceptable solution; as I was responsible and canceled my policy correctly. I ended up having to contact Farmers call center and spent about 2 hours to get this resolved. The associates that helped me in the call center were very understanding and helpful. What a terrible way to end the relationship over $36. And quite frustrating to have to do all the leg work and spend the time to get this resolved when Robert's office had made the error.
