Yo, this place is a vibe! Took the fam--me, my wife, and our teenage son--and we all left hyped. First off, the staff is awesome--super chill, friendly, and on point with the service. You can tell they actually like being there, which sets the tone right away. The atmosphere is this rad throwback barcade situation--think neon lights, classic games, and a killer soundtrack. Total nostalgia bomb, but with a modern twist. It's big too, so even when it's packed, you've got elbow room. Parking? Easy. Like, right there close. None of that circling-the-block stress. Now let's talk food--vegan menu is . I'm talking about stuff that's creative and familiar. Even if you're a meat lover (like me), you'll find something legit satisfying. Burgers, wings, comfort food faves--just all plant-based and totally crushable. Prices were decent too. Not cheap, but definitely fair for the quality and the whole experience. So FuN! We came from outta town looking for some yummy food and this place DID NOT disappoint! Vegan pub food that was so flavorful and soooo many option we def need to come back to try more. So yummy! One of the only vegan spots that is actually good in the Schenectady area and I am so glad I took the time to go. We got pretzel sticks with queso which was so good as well as a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Quesadilla. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. Woo!!! Who doesn't love a barcade? It's a good time to grab a few drinks and play some retro arcade games, although they do have some modern ones as well such as beer pong. Didn't get any food here as we just had dinner, but seems like they have a great vegan option from the reviews I've seen. Worth stopping by for an hour or three. read more

Unbeetable is a hot new entertainment spot just off State Street in Downtown Schenectady. With a menu full of appetizers, savory loaded potatoes, a variety of loaded Mac n' cheeses dishes, burgers, sandwiches, and main entrees you are sure to have a much difficultly deciding what to order as we did. When we walked in there was only a short wait until we were greeted and brought to a table of our choice. The menu is loaded with options. The gaming hall is filled with laughter and the sounds of ping pong, basketball, arcade games, and air hockey from one of the nicest tables I've ever played on. We enjoyed Nachos to start topped with spicy ground, melty cheese, fresh tomatoes and lettuce, cool sour cream, and a side of salsa. Next we shared Rueben Eggrolls with a spicy dipping sauce and a chopped cheese sandwich. Sandwiches come with a side of fries, tots, or side winders which are a type of spiral potato, or beet slaw. We upgraded the side winders to Truffle-garlic-parmesan fries. We ended our dining with a second round of drinks, and Bananas Foster dessert. The banana almost had a smokiness to them and the icecream was delicious. We really enjoyed the evening but we weren't done until we competed in a few rounds of air hockey, basketball, skeeball, and arcade games. This is a destination for plant-based eaters, vegans, and omnivores who really enjoy great food. The service was amazing at the tables and from behind the bar. Owner Chelsea Heilmann is a powerhouse bringing this new entertainment and dining experience to the downtown area, a stones throw from Jay Street and the Take Two Cafe on State Steet. What a fun little place! Everything here is 100% vegan which is amazing considering the amount of food they have on the menu. It's mostly junky bar food which i really appreciated since not all vegan food has to be healthy. I had the nachos as an appetizer which was way bigger than expected and can comfortably feed 4 people. I also had two hot dogs, the French Onion Dog (mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions and thyme) and the Nightmare Dog (meat sauce, cheese, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle mayo) which were both really good. My only complaint is that the imitation beef they use is a little gross, and tasted like pure liquid smoke. Other than that everything was delicious and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

The ambiance was so fun and the food was absolutely so delicious! Probably the best vegan food we've had here. We ordered both the philly and Reuben egg rolls as an app and couldn't get enough!! The tacos were also so so good! The fries were a bit overly salty but was still so yummy! The waitress was also really kind! I could tell they were a bit busy so it did take a bit but we didn't mind the wait at all. It does get a bit loud given that it's also an arcade but it's all a part of the good vibes! Came here last year to try because it says it is a barcade/ restaurant. Time spent here was better than expected, there was a show that took place that night. A very fun sexy two hours! The host was a friendly gothic Drag Queen but there wasn't a drag show, it was a amateur burlesque show, each performer had their own fun style of dancing, costumes and some really got into character like Chewbecca and Snow White. The food was meh, drinks were fairly priced, never did play the arcade games, the show was so entertaining! read more

I just went to Unbeetable for the first time last night. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was excellent! What was disappointing was the prices of the games (very expensive), and the "grabber claw" games didn't seem fairly set up in order for you to win anything due to the toy plushies being so closely stacked together. :( Otherwise, the ambience was great (there were few people there at the time on a Thursday night, so it made for a more "chill" vibe and less noisy/chaotic atmosphere), and you really were made to feel welcomed and comfortable. I would definitely go again, but this time just have a drink or a drink with an app (the nachos are big enough for 2-3 people!), and stick with ping pong (free), and maybe some air hockey and pin ball to round it out, if you'd like to go more frequently, but are on a budget. They have an extensive menu full of appetizers like seitan or cauliflower wings, mozz sticks, mac & cheese balls, nachos, egg rolls, and pretzel sticks, as well as more substantial main dishes for bigger appetites like burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, specialty mac & cheeses, tacos, quesadillas, chopped cheese, and loaded fries. They have a full bar in addition to a handful of mocktails and n/a beers for the non-drinkers. The inside is fairly large and nicely decorated. There is a decent selection of old school video game cabinets, pinball, skill cranes, basketball, air hockey, boxing, and some free games like darts, pingpong, cornhole, and board games. The games were a little more expensive than I'd prefer and some could use servicing but it was a fun time. Even their bathroom was clean. A welcome alternative to the typical bar scene.
