The man and woman working in the store were very friendly and we had a very nice greeting when we walked in. We bought four cookies and all were very good. The only reason I am taking a star off is that I paid with my credit card and they never told me there was a 4% surcharge for doing that. I didn't notice my receipt until I got home. I understand it costs them money but I think they should make you aware of that fee and give you an option to pay cash instead. This ruined my good impression of them. read more

I came to try the Oreo stuffed cookie and I was really impressed by the amount of chocolate chips in the cookie. It was cooked to absolute perfection. Uncle Biff's was clean and smelled awesome when i arrived. the young lady behind the counter was very friendly and told me that since i had never been there before -she knew because i told her- that i could sample 1 whole cookie. i chose the best seller: don't remember what it was called, just that it was super delicious. i bought half a dozen and took advantage of the buy half dozen and get an extra cookie -total of 7- i made sure to get 7 different flavors including another of the flavor i had sampled. they were all delicious and gone within an hour of returning home. so if you are in the Phoenix area and want super delicious cookies...go to Uncle Biff's read more

Delicious! We stopped by on a weekday while vacationing. Each of us were handed smaller versions of the chocolate chip cookies upon entering, what a nice touch. The business was clean and well-decorated. The employees were super friendly. They told us the story of Biff's cookies and the success they had in CA so they opened a a store here. They had a kids' table with books and crayons. The cookies are a little pricey, 7 for $18. But I think they're worth it. The semi-sweet chocolate and the peanut-butter chocolate were so delicious. Of course, all cookies are "good" but when you compare this to other cookies shops like Crumbl, Urban Cookies, Chunk, etc...it doesn't even come close. I live in the neighborhood and drove by recently to see uncle biffs opened. My husband has a pretty big sweet tooth so I knew I had to stop by and get some! These cookies are delicious. The salted Carmel chocolate chip cookie was a hit and definitely our favorite. We also got California killer, almond toffee, semi sweet and oatmeal raisin! Was driving past and saw the sign saying they were open and who the hell doesn't like cookies? Spun around and went back in to check them out and while my pancreas is currently sitting in the corner holding a sharpened stick in my general direction, the cookies were excellent and definitely worth the years I shaved off of my life. The people working there were also extremely nice and all it took was a small sample to convince me I should order more cookies than I should probably eat and attempt to eat them all. Is it "expensive" for a cookie? Yes if you're comparing them to homemade or the crap you buy in the store but when you consider what you're getting, it's not expensive at all. I've paid three times as much for a cookie in a normal restaurant that weren't anywhere near as good. Go here, eat lots of cookies and be happy. read more

It's the right amount of chocolate, nuts and batter. The cookies are thick, light crunch and moist in the middle, just like a cookie should. No flat cookies here. For their Caramel Cookies... it's a pool of caramel in the middle. Oatmeal Cookies are insanely good too... it's a perfect cookie every time. Cookies have a good reputation, but are not great, IMAO. Some taste buttery; others taste Blah, like shortening or Margarine, but my biggest gripe is they're just so sickeningly sweet, you get a revolting sugar high after just one bite. (If you like not-so-sweet European cookies, for instance, you'll dislike these as they taste twice as sweet.) My recommendation to Uncle Biff is cut the sugar by at least 1/3, save money, and put out a cookie we can actually enjoy. Just a note: The gals who work at this location are fantastic, very helpful and accommodating, and I gave Uncle Biff's an extra star for their service. read more
