First time at a Paris Baguette! Love all the pastry options...so many to pick from. I opted for a ham and cheese croissant (delicious) and chocolate croissant (so yummy)! Love all the cake options too. Concept seems convenient where you can grab your individual tongs, tray and self-serve any and all the baked goods your heart desires. Prices are about standard for this economy ranging from $3-5. Nice that they'll heat the pastries up for you by request. They also offer a few coffee drink options. After just going to my first Paris Baguette a few weeks ago, I happened to be near this location on Sunday afternoon and needed a quick bite to eat before an appointment. This location is quite a large one with quite a bit of seating along with an organized line area to go upon arrival. I recently joined the loyalty program and tried something new this time. I was delighted by my visit. When I first walked in, I saw quite a number of customers deciding what to order while a number of them were already in line. There were also a number of employees working behind the registers helping customers. I walked around and looked at the self-serve section, the options behind the counter, and the menu. I decided to order a sourdough turkey melt. It came out nice and toasted and quite tasty. There was a wait until it was ready, but that was to be expected as it was weekend lunch-time. As Meredith F said previously mentioned, I literally ran here lol.. This was my first time here and omg hands down some of the best pastries in town. They have a variety of pastries, cakes and different flavors you can choose from. When you enter there's a station to your left where you grab a tray and tongs so you can personally shop around for whatever catches your eye. Not being a coffee drinker, I love this place for its pastries and savory baked goods. This is a self serve restaurant where you pick whatever food items you want from display cases and take them up to the counter where they wrap them up or heat them up as appropriate. I got the hash brown bread which has all sorts of goodies in it, including ham and cheese, topped with ketchup. For me, it's an absolute delicacy. I know there are those out there who do not like ketchup, but I love it. Everything is ordered pretty quickly. They have a wide selection of coffee and similar drinks and a large seating area outside. But they don't have outside. Is anything to keep you cool during hot summer months. This is not a major ding against the place, but it would be nice if they did as we had a group event that met out there this morning and it was in the upper 90s and pretty warm. read more

I visited the North Scottsdale Paris Baguette location just now, and while the pastries themselves are good, the customer service and food handling were extremely disappointing. When I got to the register, the employee began counting my pastries by touching them directly. Although he was wearing gloves, he had just used those same gloves to handle the register, touchscreen, and the previous customer's payment. He did not change gloves. I politely asked for new items since my food had been touched, and instead of understanding the concern, the employee questioned why I would want new pastries. The situation escalated unnecessarily from there. He became visibly irritated, insisted I hand items back, threw away the tongs in frustration, and then discarded the pastries by hand anyway. At checkout, my items were left unwrapped on a tray. When I asked for them to be packaged using tongs, I was told the tongs had already been thrown away. I was also told, "It doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger," which is an unacceptable response when a customer raises a valid food-safety concern. I want to be clear: this wasn't about being difficult. I simply did not want my food handled with gloves that had touched money, screens, and surfaces used by many customers. Wearing gloves does not equal clean if they aren't changed. I'm giving two stars only because the food itself is good. However, the lack of professionalism, poor food-handling practices, and dismissive attitude made this one of the worst customer service experiences I've had here. read more

Purchased a rainbow cake for my daughter's Birthday and after removing the protective layer this is what it looked like ( See pictures added ) I called and spoke with the manager. I sent him the photos and he spoke with the cake department and was told this was normal. After I spoke with him, I called other PB locations and spoke with other managers who all confirmed no the cake shouldn't look like this and does not meet PB standards. I opted for my favorite, a ham and cheese croissant and mini sweet cheese pastries for later. I also got a coffee. The coffee was very good and I appreciated they did not mess up the proper cappuccino ratio just to fill the cup. The coffee is Lavazza which is always solid. The ham and cheese croissant was warm and flaky, my biggest criticism is I could not taste the ham at all and dare I say a little TOO cheesy. The smaller cheese pastry was perfect and not too sweet. I think Asian bakeries tend to have the lighter cake compared to the traditional American cakes and cream that are more dense. The Paris Baguette tiramisu cake is moist, cream is decadent and the chocolate crunchies on top balance it all out. It's our favorite cake but they have lots of different types such as NY Stile cheesecake, soufflé, cream cakes, berry yogurt cake, crepe cakes, and cappuccino cake. We also love their iced milk coffee. Super strong, but also sweet, smooth and bold. This bakery isn't cheap though, but you get what you pay for. So Amaya girl ur customer service is not it. Came in today our first time and we're standing in line. She calls us over and was like "next time you were in the other line that's for pick up only" and I was like "OK well it's not there's no sign that says that like it literally just says enter here like how is somebody supposed to know?" .you could've had a whole different approach as to go about saying something you know what I mean, you were kind of rude about it.. As for the food, your whole team for everything they have no idea what safe it's not safe if certain things have cross contamination. it is mind-boggling to me. A very delicious and unique spot! This Korean bakery has all of the unique flavors mixed with a very classy Parisian vibe inside. Absolutely FABULOUS! OMG. RUN HERE! I loved, loved everything we ate. The chocolate crossiant was to die for, delicious. The pastries on the shelves literally speak to you, they actually beg YOU to "pick me, pick me". Your biggest dilemma here, will be how do you want to eat your gorgeous calories. These delicate pastries are absolutely delightful. We got three... 2 for there, 1 for home. Waaaaa! It was such a far drive we should have gotten 6! Storytime: They are VERY hygenically aware - a bit over the top -- but I do appreciate that, especially since they are self serve to the public (the public I don't really trust when it comes to hygine, lol). Even though it's Scottsdale, I am still skeptical. Ok, here's the protocol: You are suppose to open up the pastry doors, use tongs and put your little blessing of a selection your tray, then you pay at the counter. (BTW, this self serve part is not very French!) A few people that were choosing their pastries were a bit rude, hogging the windows, not getting out of the way for others, chatting in front of the doors blocking others from being able to make a choice and letting their kiddo press up against the glass witht their fingers and mouth. I am just sharing the experience! Then when one of the 'overly bejewled kinda oblivious ladies" went up to pay for her chocolate croissant, and asked for it to be warmed -- she was told "that can't happen, because the croissant might explode in the oven and they don't ever heat the pastries that have fillings!" The shocked woman, could not believe that. After she expressed that she didn't want it if it wasn't going to be heated, the man behind the counter took her pastry away and told her what other pastries she could pick out to be warmed. She insisted that she would put her chocolate croissant back on the shelf as "she didn't touch it." The guy behind the counter, said, "Oh no, we can't do that. If it comes off the shelf and if you don't want it, because we can't warm it, we have to throw it away!" She was appalled that A. they would not warm it B. That he wouldn't let her return it to the shelf for another to have and C. That he was going to throw it away. I wanted to sweetly suggest to her, 'Why don't you just eat that gorgeous scrumptios thing? It will be great even at room temp.' However, she looked a little aggressive so I didn't speak my thoughts outloud. I don't hold that against the shop. I thought to myself all the work late at night and early in the morning that went into making these gorgeous pastries! Whomever is up baking them is a real gem in this world. THEY are literally ART! Parisian streets are lined with gorgeous pastries, but American's can hardly ever find a shop like this one. Let's LOVE THESE PEOPLE!!!!! I fell in love with watching the cake baker frost the rainbow cake. I thought, "this would be such a fun job!" See my video : ) She is so talented and so fast. I wanted to take a class from her! I do think it would be nicer if a person behind the counter served up the pastries, but in truth they have way too many choices probably to do that. I have mixed feelings about the serve yourself option just because I don't like people picking up items looking at it and putting it back. The pricing was ok... maybe a little high in my opinion. My friend sent some pastries and coffee from DoorDash to my husband and I after we had our newborn. The coffee was perfect as we weren't getting much sleep - we both got the chocolate hazelnut latte with Nutella and it was chocolatey goodness. The best place for all things bakery, patisserie. It is almost tough to walk past the bakery items aisle and not pick anything Great food, the staff is nice as well and this PB has sweet aesthetic interiors too. You could really just go there to read a book or work as well. I used to be a bit skeptic about the coffee etc but try the hot mocha or their new iced Nutella latte coffee. I stopped by this place sometime last year I think but it was quick and I didn't buy anything. They recently were added to the app Too Good to Go, which aims to reduce food waste. I was excited to finally try this location and I came by one evening to pick up a surprise bag ($6.99 plus tax) The bags were ready and they seemed to be filled with the same items. I got two strawberry mochi donuts, blueberry cream cheese pastry, twisted donut, and feuillete au chocolat. I really enjoyed the chocolate pastry and the twisted donut, which tasted like a churro. The mochi donuts were good texture but the strawberry icing was too sweet for me. And the blueberry cream cheese pastry was fine, not my favorite but not bad. This was a great way to try various items at a good price and to help save items that were going to be thrown away. I would love to come back and try some other pastries! read more

FIrst visit ...my wife and I went with our daughter who goes to the one in Nashville. As soon as you walk in you are overwhelmed by all the cool sights and smells! We tried a bunch of things but couldn't scratch the surface of all the things we would like to try. I got the almond croissant which was excellent. My wife got a chocolate filled pastry which she loved. Our daughter had a chocolate pretzel cookie like thing. Again excellent. We arrived early on a Saturday morning, it was a bit busy inside but the cases were being refilled & the checkout line was moving quickly. The slowest part for us was just trying to pick out what we wanted, there were a lot of delicious options to choose from! Prices can vary, a lot of products in the pastry case were around $5-$8 each, cake slices were $8-$11. They had whole cakes as well for $40+ along with sandwiches, bread, etc. But I didn't really look at any of that, I just wanted a fruit pastry or two to take home. I ended up picking out four things to split & try with my husband. We thought the cinnamon donut twist thing I bought was a bit dry, otherwise we really enjoyed the other three options I picked out. In total it came out to about $23 for all four items. It is kind of fun grabbing a little try & a pair of tongs and picking out what you want to get. If you are on a budget though, it may not be the best thing as your total will add up quickly if you aren't careful. On the day we went our visit went smoothly, it didn't take long to get in, pick what we wanted & check out. Our cashier was nice, otherwise we didn't interact with any of the other staff. read more

Wow! I've been driving by this place for a couple months, but yet to have go inside. This morning was my lucky day! Beautifully appointed with penny tiles on the floors, bright blue tile on the walls, yards and yards of gorgeous glass display cases, cafe tables and rattan chairs, and lovely outdoor patio for seating, this place is adorable! They have an amazing selection of self-serve DELICIOUS pastries, both sweet and savory as well as pre-prepared sandwiches both hot and cold. They also have a coffee bar where you can get any manner of delicious drinks made to order. The pastry prices are steep (a huge almond croissant is just under $6), but knowing the kind of work and quality ingredients these types of pastries require, it makes sense.
