Good pizza, just don't recommend the margarita pizza. Margerita pizza was too soggy with garlic juice and way too much cheese. I think they forgot Tomatoes on mine too. The garlic soaked through the box and all over the car seat. Still can't get the smell out. My husband and I ordered pizza about 2 months ago and it was our first time trying it. Was delicious! This time we spent over $70 on 2 medium pizzas, a calzone and hot wings. I ordered a calzone with green peppers, jalapeños and olives. Once we got it home it was huge and looked amazing. I then cut a third of it and noticed it was filled with watery ricotta. Once I ate that piece I noticed the rest of the calzone was watery and soggy. Since we spent so much money I decided to call the restaurant. The owner answered (Gino) and I explained that it was soggy. He told me it was the veggies I added to it and I needed to cut it in half to eat it. I told him the veggies I got aren't watery, usually when you add spinach or tomatoes it gets watery. I told him I've eaten a calzone before and I've never had an issue eating one. He didn't care one bit. I asked him if there's anything he could do and he said no. I told him I will not be ordering from his restaurant ever again and he said ok. My brother ended up taking the calzone back to the restaurant. The lady working there was arguing and having an attitude with my brother over it saying it was perfectly fine. After seeing the calzone, The owner did realize the calzone was not edible and made me another one. Once I got it, it was almost the same exact way, adding just ricotta and not mozzarella to it makes it too soggy .. I'm all about supporting small businesses but when a customer isn't satisfied with their food and the owner doesn't want to correct it until customers have to go back there and show them the food to make it right is absurd. When I initially called he should have at least had the courtesy to apologize and ask how to fix the issue, especially when the pizzas and calzones are expensive. Will never ever come back here again! Gino and his family that work there are miserable people and don't take pride in their business. read more

Popped in here after shopping at a nearby business because in the window it stated they had a lunch special of pizza by the slice. We were greeted by a couple of friendly men working in the restaurant. We both ordered a slice of their pepperoni pizza, which was present in a glass case atop the counter. They promptly tossed it into their oven to bake, so we received it hot. We ate in house and both liked the flavor of the pizza, enough so that we took a menu home with us. I ALWAYS add red peeper flakes to any pizza I eat, but the better half does not. She liked it quite a bit, especially the thin crust. This place is convenient for those heading home or passing by using Margarita Rd, with easy ingress and egress. So after our first experience I/we agreed that we are fans. Their sauce is so authentic and the cheese melts in a way that it won't become stringy, and makes for a good bite. The owner, Gino, is one of the nicest guys I've met. Tried a new Pizza Joint tonight. Overall....average. Ordered a Calzone loaded with goodies but specifically said no cheese of any kind. It came stuffed with cheese. Barely any meat and it did not have basil like another reviewer had posted. The noodles were super fluffy and soft literally like a frozen lasagna. The garlic bread tasted stale so that's a bummer. I finally stopped in here today and so glad that I did. I ordered the large "works" pizza and when I got it home to eat it, it was some of the best NY style pizza I have ever had, and I grew up in NJ, near NYC. I met and got to talk to Gino while he was making my pizza. He's a genuinely friendly guy who takes great pride in his food and it shows in the quality he offers. The crust was NY thin and the sauce is some of the best I have ever tasted. The sausage was superb, nice big chunks and tasty. All topping were fresh and delicious. My family of six ordered $100 of food. A giant 24 inch 1 topping pizza, a large cheese, meatball sub and an order of mozzarella sticks. Our mozzarella sticks arrived with a bite taken out of one. I called Gino's and spoke with the owner. He yelled at me that it was not his fault, he is not responsible and he sent the food perfect. When I asked him to make it right he argued with me that he is not responsible for the food. Um, an offer to refund the mozz sticks would have been nice. Thanks for the unsanitary food, Gino! My family had been wanting to try Uncle Gino's for a while since seeing the "Vegan Family Special" sign outside the resataurant. We finally stopped in and immediately realized we had found our new pizza spot. The moment we stepped inside we were taken back to the pizzerias from our childhood, from the red and white checkered tablecloths, arcade games and paintings of Italy hanging on the walls to the man behind the counter wearing his gold chain with an Italian horn hanging from it. The man behind the counter turned out to be Uncle Gino himself who, as we later found out, originated in New York where he made pizzas for over 30 years. We were excited that the menu included so many vegan items. We ordered a large vegan pepperoin pizza, a large vegan sausage pizza and a vegan meatball sub. We finished with the vegan cheesecake and vegan tiramisu (made by one of Uncle Gino's vegan daughters). EVERYTHING TASTED AMAZING! Our 12 year old son kept saying how savory the pizza was and that it was the best pizza he has ever had. He went on and on throughout the whole meal until finally he said, "I have to go back inside and tell Uncle Gino how amazing everything was!" To be clear, this is not a "vegan" pizzeria and we imagine the non vegan items are just as delicious. Going to Uncle Gino's definitely reminded us of the difference between authentic pizzeria pizza and fast food pizza. We will definitely be back.
