Unfortunately, we gave this place two chances, and both times we left disappointed. The first time, we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. It was a busy Friday afternoon and they only had one cook, so we understood that things might take a little longer. However, after waiting an hour for our pizza, we finally asked our server if it was ever coming out. We were told, "Oh, sorry, it already came out but was taken to the wrong table." We were then asked if we wanted them to make another one, but they couldn't tell us how long it would take. At that point, we decided to leave after paying for our drinks. Fast forward a year or two, and we decided to give the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, we had another disappointing experience. We ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni and half Regina. When the pizza arrived, there was no pepperoni on it at all. I asked if they could take it back and add the pepperoni, which they did. When it came back to the table, the pizza was cold. I waited for our server to return and asked if they could put it back in the oven to warm it up. She explained that they had deep-fried the pepperoni and added it to the pizza, and that they couldn't put the pizza back in the oven. She then asked if we wanted them to remake the pizza, but the way it was presented felt more like an inconvenience than an attempt to fix the situation. At that point, we decided it would be best to just take it home. Unfortunately, when we got home and cut into it, we discovered that the center of the pizza was completely undercooked and the dough was still raw. We really wanted to like this place and were willing to give it a second chance, but after two separate experiences with major issues, we just can't justify coming back. Mistakes happen, especially when a restaurant is busy, but what really matters is how those mistakes are handled and whether the final product is actually acceptable. We were welcomed very friendly by the host when we arrived at Spuntino Pizzeria. It took us a while to order since we were a bit undecided, but the staff was super patient. Some of us were ready before others, so they took those orders first and the food came out pretty fast! When I first walked in, I noticed what looked like a wood-fired oven, which got me really excited. Even in Italy, it's rare to see a true wood-fired oven unless you're in Napoli, where they say the best pizza in Italy comes from. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza and we definitely weren't disappointed. The texture reminded us so much of the pizza we had in Napoli--light, soft, and perfectly cooked. It wasn't one of those heavy pizzas that fill you up with thick dough. It was just perfect. We also tried the panini, which was super flavorful, and the mozzarella tasted really fresh. The restaurant had a mellow atmosphere with authentic Italian vibes. The host was very attentive and patient with us even though he was busy, and our food came out quickly. Came in on a rainy day and the restaurant was able to seat my party of 6 in no time! Matthew was extremely welcoming and was able to answer our questions about the menu with no issue. I ordered the Prosciutto Mozzarella Basil Panini and I was more than impressed with the layers of prosciutto and the fresh mozzarella. I split the panini with another guest in my party so the picture only shows half of the panini. The meal also came with antipasti salad and I definitely left full, even with just half. We came here on the recommendation of Cole from Lorenzi winery, and it did not disappoint. Ended up sitting at the bar next door. We ordered a large sausage & mushroom pizza with artichokes on half, and it was delicious. Crust was soft and wonderful, nothing too heavy. Took some slices home to enjoy tomorrow. They have a great full bar and all the Cocktails and martinis looked amazing. They also have a great wine list, and we got a bottle of their own Sangiovese for $46 which was wonderful. Yeah, pastrami used to be amazing full of meat. However I paid $18 for a pastrami sandwich which I bought too so yes 2×18 equals more they are charging $18 for a sandwich and at the end of the day we had more bread than pastrami I understand inflation is going up and we are paying for it but for us to get a few strands of pastrami on our sandwich and on top of that paying $18 for it is ridiculous. read more

I am a regular customer at Sputino's and The Bar Next Door. I dine at your restaurant frequently and have always received excellent service and gave positive reviews on Yelp. About a month ago, I inadvertently left my credit card at the restaurant. At the time, I believed the card was lost and I restricted its use through my credit card app. Recently, as I retraced my steps and reviewed my statement, I noticed that the last charge on the card was from Spuntino. I called the restaurant yesterday, January 2, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that my card had been found and kept there. I came in later that day with my driver's license, picked up the card, and expressed my appreciation to the staff for holding onto it. However, approximately one hour after leaving the restaurant with my card, I received a fraud alert from my credit card company regarding a $100 charge attempt. When I contacted the CC company , I was informed that there had been over six attempted charges within the past hour. None of the charges went through, but they were all linked to an online gambling company called PrizePicks. Given the timing of these attempted charges, shortly after I retrieved my card, felt it was important to bring this to your attention. It suggests that someone may have had access to my credit card information after I called to report it while it was in the restaurant's possession. I am sharing this not out of anger, but out of concern, as I value Spuntino and the trust I've always had in your establishment. I felt it was important for ownership(Alex) and management to be aware so the situation can be looked into appropriately. After hitting up Wilson Creek Winery, Massimo our wine tender recommended eating here. It definitely did not disappoint. I had the fried mozzarella served on tomato sauce and then covered in cream sauce. It was to die for. The crust was crispy and the mozzarella was goey and melty on the inside. The tomato sauce was on point. Real true tomato flavor, not muddled with other flavors. Really exceeded my expectations. The pepperoni pizza was also very delicious. The crust had the nice amount of chewy and the toppings were ample. Our serve was polite and not overly attentive, as she git slammed 10 minutes after we were seated. The restaurant is quaint. Service; Chris was amazing, knew the menu, knew the beer, and made sure we were not rushed to order. Peroni on draft for the win! Food: we did the tour, from salad to pizza, pasta, finishing with a dessert. It came out as expected time wise, everything was at proper temp. But, what set this off was the flavor was on point. The pasta, clean, not chewy, sauce....well you can see I used the pizza crust to suck it up! Pizza, the top was great but the crust was perfection. Dessert, worked for me! Ambiance is ok, I'd say it's a typical in the shopping center restaurant. I really care that I can see the food be made, the Vespa in the corner, and the seats didn't hurt my ass!
