Legendary wings: how hot?? Surface of the sun!

Growing up in Harrison, you would think that this place would wear out it's welcome in the "bar" world...but SURPRISE! Two things this place is known for 1) Wings 2) Beer selections....and wait, CHARLENE. (that's 3!) This local restaurant and bar is haunted by many locals and out of towners alike. It's Cheers minus Norm. The menu has plenty of items to choose. My favorites are famous wings, massive burgers, and French Onion soup. (who knew that a car can make delicious french Onion soup in an actual crock pot?). There is a dining area should you decide to eat a proper meal. The place has an outdoor patio that is perfect during summer months. A pool, a dart board, and a tremendous vodka selection in case you want to bring out your "inner" Jocky Wilson. (Bless his soul!) Perfect place to relax, unwind, catch up with friends and watch the world wide of sports on the telly.

They even have an entirely vegetarian menu. Veggie burger is great!

Turned a group of 9 people away at 11:20pm on a Friday night, said "already did last call" when they're open until 1am.

Pretty average food. Would consider the place a dive bar. Regular pub fare. Burgers, wings, appetizers, beer.

Friendly bartenders and regular crowd. Typical bar food options and quality. Happy hour is a little short, starts a little late.

We had unsweetened iced teas, and the kids' seltzer came in a kid-sized cup. After ordering, we were served cornbread sticks, which were really good and a hit with my son. Elwood also brought crayons and paper for him, which was a thoughtful touch. We started with the gator nuggets and frickles. The gator nuggets were our favorite appetizer. The frickles were good, but the batter was fairly thick, which made the pickle flavor a little subtle. For my entrée, I had the fried chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese. The chicken was nicely crispy and came with four pieces, though it was a little overcooked for my taste. The collard greens were on the sweet side, and the mac and cheese could have used a bit more flavor. The highlight of our visit was the service. Elwood was friendly, attentive, and struck the perfect balance of checking in without being overbearing. Overall, the food was a bit mixed for us, but the excellent service, family-friendly touches, and pleasant outdoor seating made for an enjoyable experience. We'll be back to try some of the other menu items.

The soup was delicious and isn't on the regular menu but instead a special item. We tried the Cuban sandwich and the Steak sandwich both with the sweet potato fries. The sandwiches and fries were delicious. The star of the show was the beer battered pickles. OMG...so good. This place is found in a cute little neighborhood. The bar looked like it was full of regulars. The staff were very friendly. This hidden gem is a must try!

Its been around since the mid 70's. Not too long ago I ran a half marathon up in Rye along with a friend of mine running in her 100th half. She had a post race celebration party here which was catered and on their back patio. Nicely done, the food was tasty and the beer nice and cold. It's a true locals spot that those in the neighborhood patronize as while there I saw a bunch of them getting their day drinking on during early afternoon. It's an old school working mans bar with a bit of a worn look but in a good way.

Grateful for the fantastic weather we're able to sit outside and we had a great time as well. The server was a doll, taking care of the inside and outside. The food was delicious, we all agreed that the chicken quesadilla was one of the best we've ever had. My friends had a burger and fish and chips, we shared a home made brownie à la mode. I recommend Kelly's hand down. Cheers
