Worst service and food quality ever!!! The owner replied to my wifes review by saying she could tell my wife was going to be trouble when she walked up... judging somebody by looks alone makes you not nice person. The garlic fries were swimming in oil. They looked more like soggy noodles than fries. I have never been turned off by fries until tonight. I'll give them a clue. If your fries come out oil soaked your oil temp is too low. Possibly trying to cook to many fries too fast at a busy venue with a low capacity fryer? upgrade your equipment. This is all good advice but I don't expect them to take it after reading their other reviews. Whenever someone has a complaint about quality they blame the customer instead of taking responsibility. They can make all the excuses they want but those fries were YUK. They went staight into the trash can. 12 bucks down the drain. Save you gut and your cash. Thank goodness I chose the Cuban truck. I was at the food truck at the speedway in Shelton and they were extremely unorganized. I ordered a hand dipped corn dog and garlic fries for $22. The dog was good but The garlic fries were dumped from the grease straight into the bowl without draining leaving the fries sitting in a bowl of grease. I watched them do it. Then I was never told where to wait for the corn dog and finally had to ask after a while. 4 other people who ordered before me had the same problem knowing where to find the corndogs. When I finally went to the table for the dog, they came over and put some other people before me who supposedly been waiting even longer then me and didn't know where they were. No apologies just the adults sitting there watching told me " yours is coming, it takes time." Then when I went and showed the lady at the till the bowl of grease with fries and asked where to throw it away, there was no apologies or offer to replace, just a point to the garbage. After I left my first review and went on to enjoy the concert. The owners, one at a time, stalked me in the audience to harrass me and make sure i saw their response to my first review and that I was not welcome back to their stand. Honestly, after paying that much for disgusting low quality food, common sense would say I would not be going back there anyway. That was solid harassment on their part. The wife claims in her response she tried to apologize several times but I had 4 other people that were with me and she lied. She didn't try once. read more

So if you like sausage, try Uncle Jim's. I came across this place at the Lewis County Spring Youth Fair and was blown away as soon as I bit into my garlic sausage on a stick. If you are a connoisseur of garlic and/or onion rings (which I believe is served only at the Fair) you will not be disappointed. This place is conveniently located. Each time I have been in need of something last minute I have found it there. The Jerky and cheese is the cherry on top. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because Jim's wife I would imagine to give that prideful NW Customer service and it's not there. Just had their garlic sausage at the Lumberjack competition and festival in Port Gamble, WA. Their sausages were AWESOME! Can't wait to order some from them. The garlic sausage was full of garlic flavor and it seemed liek it was loaded with half cloves in the meat. Great taste! read more

A co-worker of my wife brought a wide selection of sausages and lunchmeat from Jim's for our Christmas party, and they were so fabulous that I didn't want them to leave with the few leftovers. "Sorry to see you guys go, but leave the meat..." The jalapeno summer sausage is my favorite though. One of the fishermen that uses my property to take his boat out of the river gave me a log of it a thank you gift. I'm local to the are and was excited to hear that a local person was buying the Adna store!!! Wait they're the people that do meat too... awesome!!!! So I get my deer and we stopped for fuel and some snacks and had a pleasant conversation with Jim about different parts of his process. You get your own meat and in a timely manner as well. Appealing in more than one way! after de-boning everything I planned to head his direction but first I wanted to know a lil about their different seasonings so I looked up their website. No hours were listed there but it's that time of year, got plenty of guys in the woods and you're in the people business so.... It was 7:00p, not 9 or 10 because I wouldn't do that but I figured if no one answered I'd leave a message and get a call in the am. Well I was greeted with a pleasant hello from whom I'm assuming to be his wife. Ok... I said I had a few questions about their processing and seasoning. She promptly interrupted questioning me about my knowledge of the current time. "Isn't it like 7:30? "She asked. I politely said well it's 7 but yeah I guess it's close. the dynamics of our conversation had changed. I felt as if I was suddenly in defense mode! How had things so suddenly gone awry? Then before I had a chance to say anything else I was listening to dial tone. let me just say that nothing ruins an experience like a rude person. If you don't want to talk busines, don't answer the business phone!! If you don't want people to call about the business after a certain time then make sure hours are listed on your website...all of them. And lastly, if you do decide to answer the phone, but didn't really want to talk to me then quickly put on your big girl pants and pull your pant legs outta your asshole and be polite!!!! Your trying to sell a service to people... and people like to have positive interactions with other people. At least I do!!! I was elated and blessed with an animal and excited to take it in but it sure as hell won't be to this place.
