Don't be discouraged by the long line! It moves quick and is well worth the wait! Staff was kind and understanding, will definitely be coming back :)

Had such an amazing experience at this restaurant on the day before Christmas Eve. We first had the chance to try their bread and sandwiches ( which were incredible), such as Le Romano and the fougasse! However, what truly made the night memorable, was when the owner of the shop came out during closing time and offered all the costumers a free loaf of bread! If that doesn't speak to Christmas spirit and how much they value their costumers, I don't know what does! This kind gesture absolutely made our night and was much appreciated. We enjoyed their amazing bread during our Christmas Eve dinner and could share it with all our loved ones! I highly, highly recommend coming to this cafè when in town!

What else can be said about this place? Everything we tried was superb. Plain and chocolate croissants, ham and cheese, spinach and cheese croissants. Fruit croissants, olive bread, chocolate chip cookies, all the mini quiches. The eggs in the quiche are smooth and silky. Crust on the quiche is buttery and crispy. We warmed everything before eating, which made it all that much better. The only thing we didn't like was the brownie. The actual brownie was fudgy and dense, but unfortunately we didn't see that the brownie has walnuts. Not a fan of walnuts in brownies..

Incredible pastries, worth the wait! The classic croissant is amazing. We also loved the Vanilla Chocolate one and the brown sugar! Service is good but on the slower side, the bakery ambiance itself is beautiful. Highly recommend going here.

A creative and lovely bakery, you can't go wrong with ordering! I ordered a variety of croissants, quiches, pastries, etc. Mt favorite pastry was the macaron pistache. The macaron was executed extremely well, and the flavors between the pistachio and raspberry was very light and pleasing! The service was great, even though the line was long my order (which was quite large) was taken diligently and reviewed several times.

Visited while vacationing on Cape Cod last week. It was so good on our first visit that we went back two days later. The quiche is really fluffy. I tried the spinach as well as the mushroom--both were great. The apricot croissant was my favorite sweet treat.

Quick service, perhaps the best croissant I've ever eaten (including France!) and such a sweet cafe! I will always choose savory over sweet and the croissant epinard did not let me down!

Came here for pastries and sandwiches on July 4th weekend and they were excellent! The croissant and pain au chocolate were light and buttery, the ham and cheese baguette was delicious! So hard to find a good French baguette in MA! The oatmeal raisin cookie was also very nice with a nice ratio of raisins to cookie. There is always a line out the door at this place and I understand why!

A (butchered by me) slice of their hazelnut mousse cake.

Friends brought a hazelnut chocolate mousse cake from this bakery. It is THE BEST cake I have eaten in my life. It tastes like the hazelnuts and other ingredients have been ground into a nano-cream, so smooth is the texture, so rich is the taste. And it is also beautiful (and fun) inside, when cut, with crunchy things tucked in the very soft and spongy base. Wrapped in a flavor-punch caramel coating. It is also not crazy sweet, so all the ingredients/complex flavors can be tasted and are not overpowered by sugar.

Stopped in here quick on a little day trip to Falmouth.. They have a ton of options and boy, the Pistachio Almond Tarte is not one to miss. It's beautiful, and it's got such a nice flavor. It's not overly sweet, the pistachio flavor is able to shine through and it goes well with the slight sweetness and acidity of the apricots. The pasty itself is buttery, crisp, and very tasty. We also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie which was frankly more pretty than how it tasted. It was no doubt a solid cookie but it was more or less a plain ol' chocolate chip cookie. It did have a nice texture though. Crisp edges and the semi-sweet chocolate chunks irregularly sided and spread through the cookie are exactly how I like them. Plan on a line when you come in here, it moves quick as there are lots of folks behind the counter ready to help. It's currently November, so not sure if they adjust things for the winter but there isn't any seating inside. Just a long line that snakes around the store. There are some benches towards the library across the street though, plenty of places to grab a seat and enjoy your pastry and coffee.

Got a $5 cappuccino today at the Woods Hole location. It was essentially an empty cup.

So I wandered into Windfall Market in Falmouth thinking I'd grab a drink and maybe a snack... and…read morewalked out an hour later with a full cart, a slice of lasagna, a bouquet of sunflowers, and a deep spiritual connection to their lobster. This place is straight-up grocery heaven with a Cape Cod twist. The second you walk in, it smells like fresh bread and good decisions. The produce section? A rainbow of local goodness. The bakery? Dangerous. I had to physically restrain myself from buying every cake in that glass case (okay, I still got the chocolate mousse one, no regrets). Let's talk deli, holy wow. That prepared foods counter is giving restaurant vibes. Their lasagna slices looked like they were made by someone's Italian grandma who believes in extra cheese and love. I grabbed one "for the car" and another "just in case." And the meat counter? Listen, if you're not getting something from their butchery, you're not living right. Custom cuts, skewers, kebabs, and ribeyes that looked like they came from cattle who did yoga and listened to jazz. Bonus points for the drink section kombucha, local sodas, and juices I didn't even know existed. Also, I bought chips called Wrap City just because the name made me laugh. Worth it. Moral of the story? If you're on the Cape and don't visit Windfall Market, we can't be friends. #WindfallMarket #CapeCodEats #FarmersMarketVibes #FalmouthFinds #ItsTheLittleThings #PuddingCreekTrestle #SnackAttack #DeliDreams #ButcherGoals #JuiceMeUp #LocalLove #ItsTheLittleThings

We ordered our cakes for our wedding through the Windfall Bakery -- both a small bride & groom cake…read moreand 1.5 sheet cakes for our guests -- as well as for our engagement party nine months earlier. After getting rave reviews about the delicious cake from our engagement party guests, it was obvious we should order the wedding cakes through them too. There was an endless array of flavors and customization options. We even shared some photos of concepts we found on Pinterest and Instagram, and their talented designers followed our specifications and replicated the cakes to a T. We coordinated our order over email with the bakery department, which was incredibly seamless and convenient, and their friendly staff was a pleasure to work with. We also delegated a family member to pick up the cakes the morning of the wedding and had no issues at all. I don't think you'll find many bakeries offering a scrumptious and fully customized cake for less than $200 per full sheet cake and $50 per 6" round cake, so if you're holding a wedding or other big event in the Falmouth area, you should absolutely order your cakes from the bakery at Windfall Market!
