They post the prices and then they charge you something different on the register. today was my third time here and it time getting ripped off so I said something to the owner, I caught him red-handed and he said oh that's something different. I strongly believe in supporting our local small businesses so I went there at 8am to pick up doughnuts to make a birthday doughnut cake for my daughter's birthday- I asked the counter lady if they were fresh and she said yes-that day at noon when my family got together to celebrate my daughter's surprise birthday party the biggest and most disappointing was the doughnuts cake- they were stale and dry. In my family the only doughnuts we eat are from here but this is the second time I have been disappointed with their quality so unfortunately we will no longer be their customers read more

Stay away from this place. No prices and charged higher when owner takes your order. Even if you pay for two eggs you will be lucky if you get one. Try finding the cheese in your egg sandwich. Stay away!!! Total rip off. One egg and supposedly cheese in a ax beach on a bagel with coffee $9.75!!! Stay away. Village bagels in Westport is excellent and down the road from this dive is Mike's Deli. I would give this place a zero. Given them too many chances and go back because of the convenience in the neighborhood, but never again. The new owner destroyed his place with his cheapness. People are willing to pay for their food but not for this cheapness. I can't say enough bad about this. Check your egg sandwiches next time and see what I'm talking about. I understand the owner has a camera on the cook station to check in portion control. People are paying for scrambled eggs on a bagel give it to them. any breakfast place that dares to open earlier than 6AM gets an automatic 5 stars. It helps that the food is good, the people are friendly, and there's a lovely timeless vibe to the whole place that leaves you assuming it's been around for 80+ years. The doughnuts are usually why i'll stop here. The cake doughnuts especially have an incredible crunch on the outside despite still having that moist, oily interior that you expect. The breakfast sandwiches are great too, with a little more variety than your typical BECSPK offerings. It's not a specialty coffee place by any means but for a doughnut place i won't complain. read more

Driving to DC from Boston, spent the night in Wilton. Uncle Leo's is rated #1 breakfast on Yelp!, reviewers say it's basic no-frills. We try it. Sure 'nuff, it's plain and basic. Two nice ladies behind the counter. We order the special: huevos rancheros wrap, w eggs, beans, cheese, salsa, avocado. Sounded delicious! We get coffee, which was so dilute we spill it out and drive to Dunkin' for better coffee. I ask for a donut recommendation, they say coconut. It's great!! Fluffy, chewy, delicious! We dig into our wraps at Dunkin' once we get coffee. Ok not great. Tortillas are flaky, not what I expected. Eggs, cheese and beans are inside, no salsa or avocado. Disappointed. None of us finish ours. Later that afternoon/evening my daughter and I both have upset stomachs, we think it's this meal. Stopped by around 7 Am on a Friday morning. Parking is a breeze and if you're going south on Rt 7 you don't even have to cross traffic! I ordered too many things (probably). Started out with a bacon egg and cheese on a toasted hard roll. Pretty standard but still very good. The egg and cheese was nice and gooey which was perfect for a friday morning. Also ordered a cinnamon roll and a piece of crumb cake. At 7 AM, the pastry case of that place is FILLED with donuts and all sorts of other wonderful looking things. If it wasn't just myself and one other person in my office, I would have walked out with a dozen for sure. The cinnamon rolls are HUGE and super tasty. Nice use of glaze and they just about melt in your mouth. The crumb cake is a nice, NY style crumb. Highly recommend. This place must be slammed at lunch but let me tell you - everything here is worth it. SO GOOD, must stop here. read more

Was driving through the area and googled breakfast places and found this little gem. This is more of a take out place, but there are 3 tables if you wanted to eat in. We were staying in Norwalk for a wedding and needed an easy breakfast to get back on the road to NJ. Soon after we placed our order, so many more customers arrived. They handled it in stride, quickly filling orders and taking payments even though I overheard that they were understaffed that morning. The bagel wasn't as great as NJ bagels, but it was adequate and my egg and cheese sandwich was delicious. We took donuts home which were well-received by family. The price was certainly more reasonable than other independent breakfast stops. If we were in the area again, we'd definitely return. read more

Ordered delivery while on a little vacation in Westport and boy did we make the right choice. We got two egg and cheese bagels (perfectly warm upon arrival), a plain glazed donut because you really can't beat a classic, and a couple of coffees. It arrived super quickly and the driver had his mask on when he pulled up, with an extra supply of masks hanging from the front dashboard--always great to see that people are prioritizing safety! One star for service! Messed my order twice via phone. First time, order was taken via phone 20 mins ahead of pickup arrival. Walked in and they said they forgot the order. Ok, no biggie....so I waited for them to package a new order. Second time, I had called 20 mins ahead again....arrived at the store and they didn't have any phone orders under my name. Worst part was that they ran out of bagels by 10:30am! My wife had ordered bagels for work a few times. When she arrived to work, it was the wrong bagel meal she had ordered in person! WTF? I told him what I liked in an omelet and he whipped it up along with a serving a breakfast potatoes and it was all delicious!!
