Beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes that taste delicious and are reasonably priced!! I ordered a cake for a baby shower and got a few cupcakes for someone's birthday as well! They were an absolute hit at the party! Everyone agreed that the cake was just as delicious as it was beautiful! And the service I received from Sky when I arrived was great as well! Ordered a pink "ombré" cake for my daughters baptism. I chose an image from their gallery of cakes they have previously made for inspiration. Finally!! A bakery with delicious cakes (and I love me some cake) that are also pretty!! Super accommodating and they were able to create an amazing custom Medicare card cake for my FIL with less than 3 days notice. We stuck to something simple that everyone would like so vanilla cake with chocolate mousse deliciousness - I only wish there was more mousse filling :-) Can't wait to try their other flavors. The icing wasn't too sweet either - first time that there really wasn't any cake leftover!! Thank you guys!!! read more

These are the most expensive for the flavor cupcakes I have ever had. So far I have tried Red Velvet, Vanilla Celebration, Chocolate mint and Vanilla coconut, Chocolate Gnache and chocolate raspberry. For the cost there is absolutely no variety in the flavor. Vanilla celebration, is exactly what you expect. That's fine. Very heavy egg flavor. Red Velvet has absolutely no chocolate I. It, just a vanilla cake with red food coloring. The frosting has absolutely no cream cheese just a normal buttercream. Vanilla Coconut again just your standard buttercream and white cake with a little coconut sprinkled on top. The Chocolate mint, again just a colors buttercream with no flavoring. The chocolate cakes is super bitter, and not good dark chocolate butter but ruin your tastebuds bitter. The mint is there but super subtle. Chocolate ganache and chocolate raspberry are the most flavorful cupcakes they provide but just barely. Again chocolate cake is just that chocolate. The buttercream on the raspberry had the flavor and it was nice but I would expect more effort for the price. All in all this is just a cupcake factory that makes 2 batters and colored buttercream toppings with minimal effort. Norwalk has significantly better options for the price you pay. I would not recommend going back and they definitely are not worth a second chance. Update: Just noticed this place has won an award for best cupcake 9 years in a row. I don't know who their competitors, but a basic store bought box cake can beat a majority of their flavors any day. read more

I ordered a cake for my son's birthday 2 weeks ahead of time, going over all details via email/phone calls with this company. During the final contact, I also made payment in full. At that point, everything was good to go, or so I thought. On August 25th, the day of my son's birthday, I went to pick up the cake. After 6-7 minutes of checking, I was told that they didn't have my order and they came back to me with only the order slip in hand and no cake. I asked them if they were joking, and the guy rolled his eyes and simply said "no". He then suggested that I could purchase one of two pre-made cakes they had available, yet offering no apology or anything for their mistake. Days later, still no contact or apology from them. I was then and still am livid about this experience. Any other time I would let it go but this was a special occasion. I've been a patron for a while but no more and I will no longer recommend them to anyone. read more

Disappointed in the order of sugar cookies and cupcakes. They were soooo tiny. I had bought them for my neighbors and cousin, and was embarrassed to give both. The sugar cookies werea little over the size of a quarter for the holiday box and the cupcakes average to small. For the cost, I was hoping for more... at least to feel content with gifting them. I only went here one (I am not huge on sweets) but... the cupcakes were **amazing**. So soft, so perfectly fresh, with a bunch of icing, but the thing is -- not overwhelmingly sweet, so they were delicious. Any time I ever need any kind of baked goods, this is going to be my go-to. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, and carefully packaged everything up to ensure no damage would come to the product. HIGHLY recommended: Red velvet with cream cheese icing. Oh my... We didn't even get the chance to order with them because they took so long to get back to us. Made everything so complicated and couldn't give a straight up estimate for the cake we wanted. FSB hand delivered a half dozen cupcakes to my best friend on her birthday! Not only were they punctual, but they SANG 'happy birthday' to her during the delivery! Came here based on Yelp and we were surprised. They are more of a call ahead order kind of bakery. They still had a few cupcakes that were available for walk ins. So we picked up three to try. Can't remember the flavours but we were really surprised how moist the cupcakes were! Ordered a baby shower cake here. It was absolutely delicious (ordered vanilla frosting with vanilla cake). In addition, it was a beautiful display at the shower. My daughter's birthday was yesterday and I was looking for a fun easy-to-eat treat she could share with her basketball team at Fairfield University. I found a photo of the cake pops and decided to try out Forever Sweet Bakery. The pops were fantastic. They boxed them up beautifully. The owner even came out as we were backing up the car and said he would create a basketball pop for my daughter if we could wait for a minute. Super service. Wonderful food. What can I say except- hands down best cupcakes EVER! I am SUPER picky about homemade cakes and cupcakes to the point that I never buy them, only bake from scratch at home. This is the ONLY ONLY place locally I ever buy them from and I've tried my fair share over the years. They are better than any famous ones in NYC and I am thrilled they are right here our city of Norwalk! How lucky are we?? We have special ordered many times and just come in randomly to get a cupcake fix. They have NEVER disappointed us with the consistency and utter deliciousness! Our family favorites are: double chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, and lemon. They are very friendly, helpful, and quite often offer deals like buy one get one free so give them a try. I am telling you the cupcakes are outstanding! We are forever faithful fans and just hope Forever Sweet Bakery stays in Norwalk FOREVER!!! read more

The cupcakes look cute and you can mix and match. But the many "flavors" of cupcakes all taste the same, overly sugary and stale. Cake orders have to be called in 2 days in advance - not sure if they actually bake it themselves. Not recommended. read more

I ordered from this bakery three times in one month... loved them every single time! I've tried almost all of their cupcake flavors and their triple chocolate cake is amazing. Juniors chocolate cake from NYC used to be my number one, but this place definitely beats it. Only thing is, cupcakes are pricey and they're pretty small... also, for me, too much frosting on their cupcakes, but I just don't eat all of it. read more

What a wonderful surprise! Was heading back home to the city and craving something sweet. Spotted this bakery and pulled in to see if I could find something. Got a delicious chocolate cookie (it was called the Chocolate Big Dipper Cookie) which was perfect! Not too sweet, moist and fresh. They had a number of different cookie options that all looked great. The owner was really lovely and even offered to give me some free cupcakes as a first timer. I ordered a cake for Mother's Day and some cupcakes. I usually frequent a different bakery for such items but the quality had gone down. So I happened to find Forever Sweet Bakery and man was my wife and mother overwhelmed by flavor. The cake was a chocolate ganache cake and it's what dreams are made of. Kickin' it up a star for this sweet, sweet place. I helped plan my best friend's baby shower last month and she had her heart set on custom cookies for shower favors. Her mom contacted a few local spots to inquire about llama (yes llama) cookies (see the pic! too cute.) and the response from other bakeries that created custom baked goods wasn't all that impressive. Forever Sweet was unfazed by the request and churned out a few dozen of the most delightful, precious, and delicious cookies for the party. I'd gotten a bunch of cupcakes here for my sister's bridal shower over the summer (a big hit) but had to give that 5th star knowing how great they are when it comes to less conventional custom orders! read more
