We read the reviews and were excited to visit this place for some Italian Ice. Like most families on Thanksgiving weekend, we had everyone with us: Grandpa, the grandkids random aunties and uncles, all arriving at different times to the shop. Grandpa may have been a little impatient, but the response from the server was absolutely unacceptable. She was rude and disrespectful to Grandpa who is hard of hearing. When he asked for a brownie she cut him short and said she threw those away because no one orders them. No explanation no apology, no hospitable manner. She incorrectly corrected me on spumoni of all things. No one else was in the shop so it wasn't like she was busy and stressed out. Unacceptable, we went to a different ice cream stop with our 10 family members. Won't be back. read more

I've loved Italian ice as a kid and I'm a pretty hard critique when it's comes to my ice! I have to say I wasn't disappointed , I was greeted, and gravitated right to the mango! I love the ice cream there , me and my boyfriend love eating there because it's really good ice cream! However the lady who works there definitely is a Karen. She was so rude to the people in front of me and when it got to me I wanted a cone for me and my boyfriend and asked nicely since she is touching money if she can switch her gloves because of my cone and she laughed in my face rudely and gave me attitude the whole time and said whatever. My family and I have visited many times in the past and have been very happy. However last night was a different experience. I don't know if there is new ownership or an untrained staff. The person working didn't know the difference between a cake cone and a sugar cone. The single scoop barley covered the top of the cone. Two other customers walked in and asked for a banana split, the staff replied that they did not know how to make one, the customers ended up walking out. Very disappointing!! Hopefully this was just a bad night or a fluke. I would love to be able to change the number of stars. read more

This is a great Italian ice and ice cream place. It reminds me of the good Italian ice spots in Philly. I enjoyed three fruit flavored ices (kiwi was my least favorite but the strawberry and black raspberry were awesome) and my son and brother both had mint and chocolate which they loved. This is one of my favorite places to get water ices, however the service has gotten worse over my last few visits. The staff the past two times I've gone have been extremely unfriendly and it almost comes across as a personal issue. Today the lady at the counter was extremely unpleasant and hesitated to give my girlfriend our ices before first having the money in her hands although my girlfriend was already handing it to her. However when she took the customers behind us, she was more pleasant and gave them their ice cream before ensuring that she was paid first. It seems as though this is more of a bias issue and I will now have to find a new place that has more respect for ALL customers. read more

Excellent ice cream and they also had really good Italian ice like pineapple, mango, lemon and pina colada flavors. With their regular scoop they did two different flavors on my sugar cone - hard to decide since they have so many good flavors so it was nice to be able to get two scoops. It's an extra buck if you want their homemade waffles cones. My wife got the waffle cone and it was delicious. I had peanut butter cookie dough and chocolate peanut butter. Both were delicious. The owner and her daughters are super friendly. Just across the way from the Publix supermarket so a great place to stop after your shopping trip. read more

ice cream is very good, they have a strong selection of flavors. Only complaint is if you order somethign that has two scoops of ice cream , the second scoop is always smaller. The staff is typically younger kids and they are friendly, genuinely try to do a good job, I just dont want to ask why the portion size is uneven. Yosef is a good employee and continuously goes the extra mile. If Yosef didn't leave to open his own shop who knows what Louie's could be capable of. I will also mention that the prices are reasonable, 25c per topping is very cheap in a recession with the prices of milk and gas continuously increasing. Inflation is a serious problem and to have a good priced cup of ice cream is always a pleasure in my country. read more
