First time visiting this pizza joint and looking forward to going there again! We went on Saturday afternoon and grabbed a small pizza and breadsticks and soft drinks. We enjoyed the breadsticks and the alfredo sauce that you get with it was the bomb! I really liked the pizza toppings, it was really fresh and there was plenty of toppings on it. The prices were comparable for the area when it comes to pizza. The restaurant was semi clean a few tables needed to be wiped down and I did see a cob web on the light fixture that could have been knocked down though. Other than that, the décor and vibe of the restaurant was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us and didn't seem to be bothered when we asked about the sauces more in depth. I will definitely will consider going back there when I am in the area. read more

Maddio's has an excellent location on Memorial Blvd and plenty of parking. It is a self order pizza house with big, easy to read menu boards. You walk down the line and tell them what you want on your entrée. Our party had chicken wings and they were delicious. They were meaty and prepared perfectly, very tender and juicy. We also had a multi meat calzone which was very generous in size and tasted great. Another of our party had a generous salad and the ingredients were fresh-especially the olives and lettuce. Our group order two pizza's loaded with meat; another was loaded with pineapple and feta. Perfect blend of ingredients, crispy crust and grease-yum yum. Excellent pizza, but the star in my eyes is the chili. It's a little spicy, thick and full of flavor. In my opinion, it's the best in town! Their spicy sausage stew is excellent as well. I was craving some thin craft pizza like Your Pie but decided to try this place because it was a lot closer to my house. I decided to craft my own but wasn't aware I was limited to only 3 toppings and that there was a charge for additional toppings, unlike Your Pie-they don't put a cap on toppings. I ordered a medium to share with my husband and it was plenty to eat. We got a supreme type pizza and added some spinach and jalapeños. I was disappointed they didn't have any garlic to top it off. Tried this place for Sunday lunch. It is one of those assembly line pizza places like Pie Five or Blaze so if you've been to those, this one is not much different. What was once my favorite weekly go to pizza place.... the kind of place where they know your pizza and make it by hear even though it is a build your own, is now a slow, dirty, disorganized mess. The last time I ate there, it was hard to find a clean table to sit down at despite there being 5 people in the whole dining room and at least that many behind the counter. Came in with a friend the other day for lunch and glad I finally got to try this place. We got the extra large pizza versus individual, the individual was too tiny and overpriced for the size. You can watch as the employees put the toppings on your pizza which was nice, definitely fresh ingredients. We got the Jamaican Jerk pizza which was very yummy. This review is based on visits, shortly after their Grand Opening. I rarely give five stars. This is a local franchise for a regional chain. Our family gave credible debate that this could be the best pizza in Murfreesboro. In talking with the manager, the crust and recipes are based on a New York City restaurant, but could not say which one. So, the crust is thin (not cracker crust), New York Style. If you want true NY style, you have to ask them to add the olive oil prior to the sauce. They have the best selection of toppings I have seen. Many unique offerings, and they are fresh. - 3 size pies - 3 types of dough, including gluten free - 6 sauces - 7 cheeses including vegan - 13 meats - 22 veggies Taste was excellent, but then again we picked what we liked. Beer by the pitcher is available. Decor is a nice pizza place feeling. Service was a bit slow in taking your order. Pizza builders put everything fresh on your pie. For example, I ordered fresh mozzarella on mine. Instead of scooping out crumbled cheese, the builder took a fresh slice of cheese and hand crumbled it. Same for tearing the prosciutto. They have layout problem. The line to order extends past the main entrance. So when you walk in, you cannot enter the restaurant. This is exasperated by the fact that there is not entry area. The line forms in a narrow aisle that blocks the door. The second visit was take-out. We asked for olive oil under the tomato sauce and it was great. A negative though, the cannoli was not completely filled. read more

I really wanted to like this place and I was hoping they'd replace Mellow Mushroom for me since they closed. I ordered a 12" pizza with shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, ricotta, and basil. Upon opening the box, I realized the basil was not on my pizza. I also saw that it is a thin and crispy style crust which is fine, but the center of the pizza was incredibly soggy. So much so that the slices were breaking in half and all the toppings were sliding off as I picked them up. There is also far too much mozzarella on it. The ricotta is quite bland, not salted at all. I think a lot of people don't realize you have to season ricotta or it doesn't taste the best. The pizza was $15.99 and for that price I expected a lot better. Get Blaze Pizza instead. They have the same style of crust and with the build your own pizza you can get all the toppings you want on a pizza that's only an inch smaller and it's only $9.95. If you decide to get pizza here, pass on the breadsticks. Very thin, nothing to write home about. The Alfredo sauce rang came with them was separated - the oil had separated from the sauce and was floating in a thick layer on top. They're definitely not worth the extra $3.99. read more

There's a certain magic to personal pizzas that can't quite be matched by Little Ceasars or Pizza Hut. Although I will always be true to Papa Johns, Uncle Maddio's Pizza definitely held its own as a sit down style place. I got the meat lovers pizza and Meghan got the jamaican jerk chicken and they were both life changing in my opinion. At about $8 per personal pizza, the prices were pretty true to the average restaurant pizza place but the quality was much better. We both ordered ours on wheat bread (personal preference, no attempt at health) which was an even better decision. I would highly recommend anyone going to try Uncle Maddio's if you're tired of the same delivery every weekend. read more

Ordered on line and the order went through freaking postmates and charged me almost $5.00 to go into the store to pick it up myself. Everything looked like I was ordering from the Maddio's website but no after they processed the payment and charged my card then it says it's a postmates order.
