My order was supposed to come with potato salad and he brought macaroni. Duh. My friend ordered the pastrami with lettuce and tomato on the side. They put hot pastrami on top of a cooked tomato and no lettuce. Double Duh! Another friend of mine had the sliders. Yeah, they could slide just like a hockey puck can slide. They were just as hard and tough as a hockey puck. The Cole slaw looks like someone put it through a mixmaster. It had the consistency of sawdust; you couldn't make out the coleslaw from anything else that was in it. It looks like they're riding on their long existence and the Guy Fieri visit from DDD to bring in the diners. The walking tour lasted for ~45 minutes or so, with the guide ending with a tasting of three different Sakes and pieces of Sushi to pair with. The building itself was quite modern looking (they just built it recently) and very well-kept. You get to see the entire brewery and the equipment they operate with, and there's also a good amount of seating at the front for after the tour. There's also an area where you can look at Sake for sale and buy to take home. Overall, it was a very fun and educational experience, and I would definitely recommend if you're into learning more about Sake!

While we waited, we decided to get a table and share a sake flight along with some sushi made fresh by the sushi chef. The sushi was delicious, and we really enjoyed the sake flight as well. It was interesting to notice how different the sakes tasted before eating compared with after having some food. My son and I also explored the gallery upstairs, where we could see some of the vats used to make the sake. The entire space is beautiful--high ceilings, light wood, and a bright, modern feel. Service was attentive overall. Our server initially seemed a little dismissive when she realized we were there for the pop-up, but she became much friendlier once we got a table. From there, everyone was very attentive. I especially appreciated that they brought my son water in a plastic cup shaped like a stemless wine glass so he didn't feel left out while we had our sake flight. Such a cute and thoughtful touch! The sushi chef mentioned Dassai Blue hosts different pop-ups, including ramen on occasion, so we'll definitely keep an eye out for those.
