This has become a favourite local stop. Delicious clean food and drinks. You can order a made in house sandwich/meal or a grab and go. My go to has become the chicken salad on croissant with a side of their potato salad. They sell these refreshing refreshers (lol) and the mix of flavours are all GOOD ! Staff are friendly and kind. Location is superb it's in the visitors center of a historic homestead of one of the nations greatest leaders. Roosevelt's

The Bounty's Butcher Board was delicious with cured meats, pate, and a jam. 10/10 The Asparagus with Sheep's Milk Panna Cotta was a star. Layers of flavors did from perfectly cooked chicken cutlet asparagus, olives, Panna cotta, and greens. It delighted the palate. 10/10 The Duck Duo was recommend a student sitting next to us but received mixed reviews. My husband found the meat a bit oily. I found it perfectly cooked and appreciated the lack of gaminess. 8/10 The Potato Gnocchi was pillowy and perfectly sauced. The peas added a nice snap. 10/10

White tablecloth stuff! Once we checked in we were seated pretty quickly. Our server came by and talked to the menu. Everything sounded so good! We got a little amuse bouche to start us off. Pretty tasted and did the job to make us hungry !! We then picked the beef dumpling soup to share. Deep flavors and very tasty. For mains I chose the Duo of Duck. Smoked duck breast with the sausage bon bon was really good. Duck was just right. Deb had the Berkshire Pork. Wheatberry porridge, gremolata and mustard seeds made for a really nice bite. This was good and portion was nice. We did wait a while in between course which is the only ding but the experience was really nice.

The walking tour lasted for ~45 minutes or so, with the guide ending with a tasting of three different Sakes and pieces of Sushi to pair with. The building itself was quite modern looking (they just built it recently) and very well-kept. You get to see the entire brewery and the equipment they operate with, and there's also a good amount of seating at the front for after the tour. There's also an area where you can look at Sake for sale and buy to take home. Overall, it was a very fun and educational experience, and I would definitely recommend if you're into learning more about Sake!

It was with tremendous surprise and appreciation that they are using water from the Hudson run through reverse osmosis for the Saki. Our trip was unplanned, but I would recommend making a reservation and scheduling a tour ahead of time as I am sure our ability to get an easy table was mostly based on luck. They have a limited, but nice snack menu and an extremely attentive staff to make sure you are both informed and well taken care of.

La Catrina serves more-and-less traditional Mexican fare with generous portions and good service…read more I especially liked the size of the margaritas, the large number of warm tortilla chips brought to the table (and refilled frequently), and the flavor of my chicken fajitas. RIght off the bat were that margarita and the chips and salsa. The salsa seemed pretty plain, mostly a tomato base with lots of chopped onion. This was also accompanied by a plate of mashed beans, something I've not seen elsewhere. Shortly after we were seated, I did notice one of the waitresses taking photos of our very large group (20+) on her own phone - not on the behalf of one of us - and I have to wonder if it was for the restaurant's social media, or something else. The servers were very attentive, being sure to ask the right questions as we ordered items. Food and drink all came out quickly. My chicken fajita platter came with steaming warm tortillas, more than I've typically gotten at other Mexican restaurants, and a separate plate with huge quantities of the fixin's, including a sizeable amount of guacamole. All that plus lots of beans and rice as well. This is a nice reboot from the brewery that was previously here.
