Came across this restaurant on a bike ride. Great find! Outdoor seating on a deck overlooking a pretty creek and the indoors is cute and cozy too. Service and food were wonderful. Wish we knew about this place sooner. A true hidden gem. Remember this place when new paltz restaurants are all over crowded. Bartender "V" was friendly and makes his own Bloody Mary mix which was a hit with my husband, and they make their own blue cheese dressing another pleasant surprise. We had wings and the special steak sandwich. Food was delicious. They also have a very nice outdoor seating area. The menu is pretty standard for a pub type of place,and the prices are reasonable. Service at the bar was very good at 2:00 on a Friday. I had a Southwest Wrap that included breaded chicken fingers, romaine lettuce and a wonderful jalapeno mayonnaise. The wife had the Southwest Chicken Salad with a Sourhwest dressing and said it was very good. They have a limited but well rounded choice of draught beer offerings. I am so disappointed that I forgot to take pics but can assure you the food was fantastic. I ordered the falafel with potato croquets and my husband got the Hawaiian shrimp with sweet potato fries. We each had the side salad. Our dishes were perfectly cooked. I was so impressed that the croquets were crispy but not burned or greasy and so hot on the inside. The falafel was so fresh. The place is adorable. We cat on the back patio but will definitely come back and enjoy the spacious bar. read more

The service was good and it's a cute spot but the vegetarian tofu bowl was a relatively small bowl of soft flavorless tofu and soggy veggies. This review is really only for this dish, which seemed like a total throw away dish. The non vegetarians seemed to enjoy their meals, so if you eat meat then disregard this review! The fried green tomatoes were not bad, but really the tofu dish was just so sad. Palaces in Rosendale stop serving food SO early, we barely made it in here before the kitchen closed. I forget what I ordered but they gave me the wrong thing and it was too late to change it. Waited forever, our food ticket was lost, so a table that arrived 20 minutes after us, got their food before we did. Waitress didn't fill our drinks until 45 minutes after we got the first round, then she never came back, well done burger came out rare, fries were still frozen, the buffalo chicken salad was drenched in Italian dressing when I order blue cheese. My son's burger had the wrong cheese, and that's after we waited 1 hour and 36 minutes to get to us. Then they thought giving is 10% off was sufficient for food we couldn't even eat! First time eating here. What a find in this area of Rosendale. I had the cheeseburger which was cooked to how I liked and the fries were crispy, hot and soft on the inside. So delish. Dina, our waitress was very attentive and helpful and made sure all was well with our meal. I was in Rosendale for a wake on Sunday 1-5-20 and at the last minute about 15 of us decided to go to the Creekside for dinner. We called maybe 10 min before arriving and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The service was amazing and the food was great. I tried to order out twice and both times received soggy fries, nachos with cheese that hardened by the time I got it home, overcooked meat and not very friendly at the counter for pick-up.
