Went to Uncle Sharkii's two weeks ago because my coworker loves it. Overall I give it a 4/5 for the following reasons: 1) Food 4/5. I got the Uncle Sharkii which was ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp, imitation crab on salad only with all of the toppings. I paid extra for more jalapeños. I topped it all off with the sirracha sauce and sesame sauce. This was my first time trying a poke bowl and naively thought the fish would be cooked. My mistake. Overall it was good but I personally do NOT like the texture of the raw fish. I will be back for a shrimp and crab bowl though. The seaweed was amazing!!! 2) Service: the guy at the counter was patient and accommodating. Their service moved pretty quickly. No complaints. 3) Ambiance: this is a shop in the Penzoil plaza. Good cafeteria style assembly line. I will come back to Uncle Sharkki if I'm in the area. It is pricey. I spent $22 for a bowl and bottled diet coke. The only reason they're not 5 stars is because they charge extra for more jalapeños.

Good flavors and good price except for water which is like a third the cost of your bowl. Very simple menu, so simple I was confused looking around for another menu or something to scan to get a bigger menu...nope, there aren't any. Menu on wall showing the bowls and a paper menu taped to the glass beside the register showing you the toppings and a smaller picture showing the sauces. Good for a quick work lunch.

Monday through Thursday 2-3 pm is BOGO boba. We came for this deal. It was around $6.50 for both of them. The sugar is way too much. If I go next time, I would see if they can adjust the sugar. I would also wish that the cashier would ask about the customer's preferred sugar levels to make the whole process more transparent. The vibe is okay... not too many people waiting so and it went quick. The employees weren't the friendliest but they also just seemed bored

Just had only their boba so I can't comment on the poke bowls. The boba options were fairly limited and plain; my main comment was that the taste was very watered down and just seemed like a below average product, especially with so many good boba shops in Houston.

Ordered a surprise bag from this place on the good to go app. Definitely one of the best deals on the app. For $6 got a huge poke bowl and boba. Even though I couldn't pick what I wanted in the bowl, it had a good assortment of toppings and seafood. It was tasty and fresh. Loved the milk tea too, not overly sweet.

Ordered a poke bowl for the first time today. Real generous portion and great flavor, however after eating halfway through it, I found two hairs and threw the rest of my food out The hair was black and curly. I have brown straight hair. I'm giving 3 stars because I loved the taste and portion amount but please make sure your employees have proper hair protection, as I would love to eat here again if better precautions are taken.

The peach black tea is sweet and good. The mango green tea is bitter.. def needs more sugar.

The guy that rung us up did not smile, barely talked and spoke to us as if he didn't want to be there, orrrr even wanted us there. The food is good.. but not worth how we were treated. When we got towards the end of ordering many items were low and we just had to basically take what was left, there was no attempt to get more or anything. To me the protein was skimpy, and it reminded me of chipotle..... Overall will I go back HEL* NO

I got the Yuzu Ponzu Salmon and my bf got the Umami Ahi. My yuzu ponzu was much more ~summer vibes ~ and my bf umami ahi was definitely more nutty & sweeter flavor. I definitely steal a lot more of his bites because I love the sauce they put with the umami ahi, next time I'll try that :) I believe the gentleman that helps us when we came in might have been the manager, maybe, or a very enthusiastic worker because he definitely hyped it up for me. "Anything you want, I can make it for you!" Very positive mindset and energy! The only cons I have is the drink area doesn't look like it has been clean recently.

Some pros include good service, an efficient ordering system (you can fill out a small slip of paper at the front of the restaurant), and the unique oil selection option. But unfortunately, my biggest gripe was their food. Upon receiving my order, my roommate noted how small the bowl was. While size didn't matter (initially), they gave me way more rice than protein, and by the end of my meal, I found myself having to supplement my leftover rice with my own protein. A small bowl was 3 scoops of protein (I requested 2 scoops of spicy tuna and 1 scoop of spicy yellowtail), but frankly, they were a bit stingy with their portions because it did not seem like 3 scoops. I felt that paying $14 for how much I was getting turned me off. Furthermore, my roommate and I agreed that the sauces and how the fish was seasoned were more salty than spicy. I requested 2 types of spicy raw fish and a spicy aioli sauce and still found the spice to be subtle, almost nonexistent. In addition, some premium ingredients, such as Masago and Seaweed Salad, would have been free elsewhere. Overall, I was unsatisfied with my experience and unsure if I'd return. While taste is subjective, I'd suggest improving portion sizes by fixing the rice-to-protein ratio; past reviews have expressed similar sentiments, so I know I'm not alone in feeling like the portions are absurd. Also worth mentioning is that they give free dessert (ube, matcha, and pandan rice crispies) if you leave a Google review, which I feel could skew the ratings.
