While that may have been true, I knew I was paying someone to come over and provide me with solutions to effectively and efficiently organize my unpacked world. We spent about 3, 4 hour sessions unpacking, organizing and by the time we came to the final day, Jade had a good sense of how I functioned. Beyond all of this, Jade truly made me feel comfortable. I've always considered my hoarding tendencies, but never really addressed them. In all honesty, opening up in that way can be very intimate and vulnerable. Jade challenged me to consider the utility of some items and the memory of others - supporting me through each decision. I wish I had before and after photos, because dang! It makes my house so much more comfortable to be in - everything has a place.

She was quick and professional, but also patient and kind, which is what I needed. I have lupus and anxiety so it took a lot for me to let a stranger in my home and to admit I needed the help, and Monika immediately made me feel comfortable with her. She checked in with me about my mental state regularly, and made sure I was a part of the whole decision making process. She also intuitively knew when I needed encouragement to let go of the clutter I didn't need. She helped me to not feel paralyzed by the whole process. She wasn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and do the work either. I was welcome to help if I felt up to it but was not required to as part of the process, which was what I needed as I knew I wouldn't always feel up to the task physically. Most importantly she made it easy to find everything and gave me a system that was maintainable for me, which I am so grateful to her for.

Holly was so chill and so nice, and my 3 year old son warmed to her instantly (which is a big deal). I never felt embarrassed having her get to see all my prolific clutter, or my weird storage situation, or all the times I realized I had no idea why I even owned X item or why it was where it was. She took charge where she could, while empowering me to purge, sort, and re-prioritize in a way that felt freeing, not at all judgmental or scary. The whole process was so motivating; she was here for not even 3 hours but we got SO MUCH DONE, in our front closet but also in our upstairs loft area that has been plaguing me for YEARS as I tried in vain to turn it into usable space. I received a reasonable quote and based on other positive reviews - I went ahead and book service. My appointment was for 930am. At about 945 I texted the number I had been communicating with to get an update since no one was here - I received a response that Sarah, the cleaner, needed to stop for some supplies and was running a bit behind but would be there soon.She arrived at about 1015 and only had a small bucket of a few cleaning supplies. I mentioned that I had a vacuum in a closet that she could utilize - she thanked me and we discussed that I needed my house deep cleaned as I as getting ready to list it for sale. She was here until about 2:45 when she ubrutly left and said "well that's all there is plus im out of supplies". She never attempted to collect payment or ask if I was okay with the status of the house. While she was here she took multiple phone calls while working to discuss her legal issues and how to get her car out of impound. She cleaned my floors by using a swiffer wetjet - that was in the closet with the vacuum. If im paying for a professional cleaning service, you should not be utilizing a swiffer to clean my floors. Every room in my house is still dirty and I am going to have to now spend hours cleaning. The kitchen still has obvious dirty floors, the stove looks worse than it did before she arrived and she didn't even clean the outside of the cabinets, let alone the inside. The walls in the bedrooms were still covered in dust and I found a spider still chilling on the wall in one so I don't even know what she did while she was in there. While no money was wasted - I've wasted hours of my time. (And im still perplexed she left without ensuring I paid for the services of the company she works for).
