We had a problem with one of the gates and other than some confusion on which Vinyl Concepts did the install, they came out and fixed it. Didn't even charge us. Customer service was great. A few months ago I had to call them again to get an estimate to repair and or replace some loose posts and cement blocks. Again, customer service was great. Estimate was given, work was done and paid for. Not long afterwards, I noticed the installers didn't repair one post. This was an obvious oversight on installers part and not a big deal. I called and explained the situation, emailed another repair request, and this is when things took a turn for the worst. Original Salesman left the company so I was given a new salesman, Oscar. Oscar didn't respond to my calls and when he did finally email me, he tried to put his own spin on work that was originally supposed to be done and I question whether he even had the original work order/estimate. He sent an installer, Jose, to come out and inspect the post that was not repaired. Jose is one of the guys who did the original repair. Jose knew he missed repairing this post. He went on to tell me they no longer carried the railings on the fence, he would have to take down the already repaired post and cement blocks, or he could insert screws into post. He inserted screws and post was sturdy. Jose reassured me it was strong enough for my dog. After the repair, Jose went back to the office and proceeded to tell Oscar we had a third party install the fence he repaired and blamed my dog(?) Oscar sends me an email stating they would not warranty any repairs because this was not their fence. This was a flat out lie and how dare Oscar and Jose make this false accusation. Furthermore, I have the original estimate of work that was to be done and we paid for this repair. So obvious Jose was trying to cover his behind and Oscar was trying to prove himself. As far as customer service is concerned, the young ladies in the office are very helpful and courteous. It's too bad there are two employees that have no integrity and suggest future customers steer clear of doing business with Oscar and Jose.

He was the only one that would place the footings on our paver patio. all other companies wanted to place the footings on the grass next to the patio. once the permit was approved, there was an added requirement of placing fire sprinklers on the patio cover! jeff worked with the city and a fire inspector to remove this nonsensical requirement which saved time and money. when it came time to place the footings, the pavers were removed carefully and set aside. once the footings were in place, you couldn't even tell they were removed. he and his helper also left our yard tidy and organized at the end of each day. overall, we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. jeff was meticulous, reliable, and a true professional. highly recommend!

The main installation began Monday and was essentially completed that same day. Two workers returned briefly Tuesday morning, after which you told me the project was finished and collected my final payment. You also previously told me that you returned Monday to check the work. I reviewed my camera footage and could find no evidence that you returned that day. Your statement that I "could not be bothered" is also false and insulting. I was working at my job. In fact, I interrupted a work meeting and went outside when I saw your crew accessing my underground sprinkler area. I hired you to manage this project and supervise your crew. I was not supposed to repeatedly leave my own job to supervise yours. As for your statement that I "expressed satisfaction at the final walkthrough," I took a quick look while I was between work meetings and, at first glance, the new pavers looked nice. That does not mean I accepted problems I had not yet had an opportunity to discover. You specifically gave me three days to inspect the completed work and report any problems. I reported the problems the very next day. What you also did not tell me when you collected my final payment was that you were about to leave for a week-long vacation. I learned that only after I contacted you about the problems I discovered. Your statement that every issue was addressed by your company is also not accurate. During the original installation, a sprinkler was damaged and my gardener repaired it. After you returned from vacation and moved the drain that had been installed in the wrong location, a second sprinkler line was damaged. I ultimately hired and paid my own sprinkler professional to repair that damage because, by that point, I no longer wanted you or your crew working on my property. There were also workmanship issues with the pavers, including the area around my custom-built catio, where the door was left jammed and unable to open properly, poorly cut pavers, and an area that was not flat or level. My backyard was left with sand everywhere, construction debris, dug-up grass and even the crew's lunch trash. I stand by my review and my description of my experience. I have photographs, messages and timestamped camera footage documenting both the condition of my property and the timeline described above.
