I wouldn't come here again. Pros: - I like that the bathrooms are clean. - I like that they have so many cute colors of balls (2 shades of pink, 2 shades of purple, and 2 shades of green). Cons: - It's way overpriced ($42 for 2 people) for only a half hour of game play. - Parking is expensive. - The music is terrible (country western). - Not accessible.

I took my daughter for a mother-daughter date day what a great experience. You won't be disappointed .

This place is pretty cute. The holes are fairly easy so this would be great for kids, or a fun first date. Probably not something I would do over and over but I think it would be pretty fun with a group of friends. N some of the holes they have tasks which make the game a little more interesting. Fun times to be had for all.

We came here as a party of 6 for a bachelorette party about a month ago. The theme of this course is so fun, and the underground vibe makes it extra fun and dramatic. The employee ( I wish I remembered his name!) was so awesome and helpful. He gave us a great spiel, in character, about the course and the "journey" that we were going on. He also gave us a free visit to the Photo Booth and pins that said "I'm celebrating". We had a great time!

I took my fiancée here for a surprise date and as a Sacramento adjacent native I'm surprised that she had never been. We both like to go mini golfing when we have the time so we figured we would true out this cool spot. Right in the middle of downtown Sacramento there's a little hidey hole basement mini golf. We were greeted and given a fun story about how we were traveling to Sacramento in the middle of the gold rush to get us immersed in the course. It seems like a small space but there are plenty of obstacles to make the course more than meets the eye. There are 18 holes, each themed with a different part of the journey to come enjoy the gold rush. The staff here is extremely nice, helpful, and answered any additional questions that we had. Definitely look forward to making another trip back! I would definitely recommend it to anyone trying to do anything in downtown Sac other than shop and eat!

A great date night spot! My boyfriend and I went before dinner in old Sacramento and had so much fun! There are fun spinners for challenge holes and super great on theme decorations for the area!! It was $21 a person which wasn't too bad and it took us about an hour to complete the 18 holes!

Imagine our surprise when we stumbled upon this "secret" venue while taking a stroll in Old Town. It was our date night and this seemed like an easy way to spruce up our evening. We headed down the entry stairs and were greeted by a very friendly gal at the ticket booth. She answered our questions, sold us the entry, and then told us a dynamic tale (seriously! And her narrating was superb!) before we "departed on our journey". The facility has a full 18 holes. I think what makes it interesting is you zigzag through what seems like old underground hallways, meaning you never know what you'll find around the bend. That part was fun. It was also fun to be able to spin the wheel at particular holes in order to add challenging twists to the game. My husband and I had a great time, especially since the game was quite close and the winner unpredictable. However, my only complaint is that I wish it were a tad more challenging. We expected to spend about an hour playing (per the employee at the front), but we were in and out in about 40 minutes. Not terrible, but also makes me feel as though it was a bit overpriced for an activity that we wished we could've enjoyed for a bit longer.

My friend and I visited Underground Miniature Golf, and we had a great time! The guy at the front was incredibly nice and friendly--he even gave my friend a premium mini golf club for his birthday. The place was unique, interesting, and we had a lot of fun exploring all the creative holes!

Perfect place for first timers. Approximately $29 for my boys. They enjoyed playing connect 4 while waiting for their turns to play miniature golf. We will likely return during the colder weather when outside activities are limited.

Fun little place to visit in Old Town. We were in town visiting our kiddo who goes to Sac State. We decided to hit up Old Town and do a little touristy shopping etc. But we wanted something fun to do. This fits the bill. The staff was very friendly and the intro story they give you is very cute. I haven't done mini-golf in years. Being inside, down below street level when it's almost 100° outside was nice! There are 18 holes and they go pretty quickly. Nothing too challenging, but definitely fun. It's kind of a hidden gem being on the far back street of Old Town, but there is signage. We definitely had our share of laughs. I'd say to definitely give it a try for some inexpensive family fun.

$17 per child...about 45 minutes to finish 18 holes on a weekday with no crowds...

located at the old sacramento waterfront...keeping the old charm alive in this well maintained historic district...between mini golf or railroad museum, the children wanted underground mini golf...opens at 10am and down the stairs...indoor mini golf with 18 holes...has a fun old western theme...plenty of picture opportunities at every hole...$17 per child for about 45 minutes of fun to finish 18 holes...everything is well maintained and in great condition...it's nice being indoors and cool during the summer heat, but the holes are really short which is the downside...no issues on a weekday with no crowds, but could be a problem if there were more people and the holes being so short...

What is the average time to complete the course?

My son and I did the course right as they opened before anyone else had showed, and we got through it in about 20-30 minutes at a fun pace without rushing (and no one passed us during that time). I can imagine a group would naturally take longer, as…

My kids enjoyed the rides, and they also liked doing mini golf. The place wasn't too crowded. There wasn't too many attendants so we had to wait for one staff member to control about 3 rides at a time. I can imagine that is tiring for some of the kids working there. The arcade itself was fun, but when my kids wanted snacks, everything we wanted was unavailable (slushie, dip and dots, and hot dog). Not to mention, the soda was flat! The staff helping us was so nice we didn't sweat it. Really... we didn't need to spend money anyways lol. We brought water. What got me was that the park was split into two areas divided by a small parking lot. If it's your first time, start with the area with the mini golf . That's where you purchase points or wristbands for the days activities. All in all kids had an outlet for their endless energy. A time was had.

The short of it is: This golf course is cruel and certainly not fun. It is not shaded, so expect to burn. It is poorly designed, so expect to lose your ball within the first two or three holes. It's very very likely that one or more members of your family will permanently lose a ball to incredibly challenging terrain features, for which the official response from golfland is.. exit the course, go back inside, get another ball. This requires staff intervention, which means you have to wait in line again... Just like you did the first time to play. This overpriced course feels cruel and is disrespectful of your family's time and does not encourage a sense of fun. Please seek miniature golf elsewhere unless you are going for an extreme challenge. Birdies is located about a half-block from the entrance to Sutter Health Park, near right field. So one game we got to about an hour early so we walked into Birdies to kill some time. I've been to Birdies probably 3 to 5 times and it's always been in this exact situation,Happy Hour before an A's game. It seems like they have a happy hour before most if not every game. When you go to Birdies they have both indoor and outside seating though I've only sat inside. They have three ways to order at Birdies, one can order at the bar or one can grab a table and order from a waiter or waitress or finally you can order from a QR code located at each table. Their Happy Hour features $8.00 items for both food and cocktail drinks though beers are priced at $6.00. Some of the things I've gotten over my visits during happy hour were as follows Blackberry Margaritas Guava Lime Spritz Urban Roots Lager Carne Asada Tacos Single Patty Smash Burger If I'm being honest, the food at Birdies is probably more towards average rather than excellent. The drinks though have all been made excellent and tasted great. This place to me is better suited for a spot to get great drinks before the game rather than great food. I would say the food here during Happy Hour is a better deal than anything you will find at the ballpark, that goes without saying. In closing, I can honestly say I'll continue coming to Birdies for pregame Happy Hour as often as possible. It's a really great spot to grab some drinks before the game!

Right off the bat-you got to know this place is not fancy-this is the kind of place the serves that golfer who is just beginning-the kind of person who maybe has thought about golf and wants to give it a shot-this is where they head. This driving range is truly a no judgement zone,so many beginners,so many people there who this may be the 1st time they ever held a golf club-I love that about this place, you never know who your going to see here,it can be someone like me who has been playing golf for over 30 years or literally a kid or teenager or woman's group or older person who has never touched a club before-your going to see all types of people, every age, every skill level and it's great. This place has zero dress code-not that all golf course do but some places you can really standout if u show up in gym shorts and a tank top-but not here-anything goes and nobody will give u a 2nd look if u have no clue what your doing. The place has a few cool features that I enjoy-it has a putting area so you can go out there and work on your putting at zero cost.It has a very good short game area where one can work on their short game but it does cost $7 an hour to get access to that area. This place does have ample parking so that should never be a problem, there is a pro shop on premises as well-Inside your able to buy range tokens which you use to get range balls to use on the range.Prices range from $7 for a small bucket(40 balls) to $24 for a "Leader" bucket which is 200 balls. What I do is buy the Leader bucket for $24 and they give you 5 tokens for 40 balls each and then I spread out their usage over multiple visits since 40 balls is more than enough for a driving range session, which brings the cost down to under $5 a bucket-a very very good price for a small bucket. The pro shop also sells beers and sodas and snacks along with just about any other golf accessory you could possibly need from driving range tees to full on brand new golf sets-it's a decent shop-gets the job done. The gentleman who owns the range also works the shop-he is an amazingly kind man,he is a little rough around the edges when you first meet him but once you get to know him,he is the best-super helpful and chatty-he is truly an asset to this location. Overall what I will say about this place is this-if you have ever had the idea that maybe you have an interest in golf and want to go to a judgement free spot where you can try it out-this is your place. If you want a no frills spot to go and work on your game-this is your place. If you want a spot you and your friends can meet and chill and maybe throw back a beer or two while doing something somewhat active-this is your place. So do yourself a favor and head on out to Leader Golf and give this amazing game a chance-it just might start a lifelong obsession-see ya out there. If you wanted to rent them for an 18 whole game, you could rent them for double the price at $30. The clubs here were pretty good where they give you irons from 6 to 9 with a pitching wedge, gap wedge driver and two hybrids of course itself is very straight with a couple par 3's to par 5's. The grass here is maintained with not a lot of dirt or bumpy ground and a great place to practice using all your clubs. I was able to rent a golf cart too which was nice and new compared to other golf carts at other courses. Cons: the price here is not that bad ranging around $50 to 80 depending on how many holes you play. The location of the driving range and the pro shop compared to the first hole is kind of far but the good thing is that there's two different 18 whole courses here one that's beginner and another one that's advanced specifically I played the arcade course, which was the beginner course.
