It's very very likely that one or more members of your family will permanently lose a ball to incredibly challenging terrain features, for which the official response from golfland is.. exit the course, go back inside, get another ball. This requires staff intervention, which means you have to wait in line again... Just like you did the first time to play. This overpriced course feels cruel and is disrespectful of your family's time and does not encourage a sense of fun. Please seek miniature golf elsewhere unless you are going for an extreme challenge. Not friendly for our group with ages between 10 and 80 Expect to pay twice as much for your time here as you would intentionally losing your golf balls at a place like topgolf.

Birdies is located about a half-block from the entrance to Sutter Health Park, near right field. So one game we got to about an hour early so we walked into Birdies to kill some time. I've been to Birdies probably 3 to 5 times and it's always been in this exact situation,Happy Hour before an A's game. It seems like they have a happy hour before most if not every game. When you go to Birdies they have both indoor and outside seating though I've only sat inside. They have three ways to order at Birdies,one can order at the bar or one can grab a table and order from a waiter or waitress or finally you can order from a QR code located at each table. Their Happy Hour features $8.00 items for both food and cocktail drinks though beers are priced at $6.00. Some of the things I've gotten over my visits during happy hour were as follows Blackberry Margaritas Guava Lime Spritz Urban Roots Lager Carne Asada Tacos Single Patty Smash Burger If I'm being honest, the food at Birdies is probably more towards average rather than excellent. Right off the bat-you got to know this place is not fancy-this is the kind of place the serves that golfer who is just beginning-the kind of person who maybe has thought about golf and wants to give it a shot-this is where they head.This driving range is truly a no judgement zone,so many beginners,so many people there who this may be the 1st time they ever held a golf club-I love that about this place,you never know who your going to see here,it can be someone like me who has been playing golf for over 30 years or literally a kid or teenager or woman's group or older person who has never touched a club before-your going to see all types of people,every age,every skill level and it's great. This place has zero dress code-not that all golf course do but some places you can really standout if u show up in gym shorts and a tank top-but not here-anything goes and nobody will give u a 2nd look if u have no clue what your doing. The place has a few cool features that I enjoy-it has a putting area so you can go out there and work on your putting at zero cost.It has a very good short game area where one can work on their short game but it does cost $7 an hour to get access to that area. This place does have ample parking so that should never be a problem,there is a pro shop on premises as well-Inside your able to buy range tokens which you use to get range balls to use on the range.Prices range from $7 for a small bucket(40 balls) to $24 for a "Leader" bucket which is 200 balls.What I do is buy the Leader bucket for $24 and they give you 5 tokens for 40 balls each and then I spread out their usage over multiple visits since 40 balls is more than enough for a driving range session,which brings the cost down to under $5 a bucket-a very very good price for a small bucket. The pro shop also sells beers and sodas and snacks along with just about any other golf accessory you could possibly need from driving range tees to full on brand new golf sets-it's a decent shop-gets the job done. The gentleman who owns the range also works the shop-he is an amazingly kind man,he is a little rough around the edges when you first meet him but once you get to know him,he is the best-super helpful and chatty-he is truly an asset to this location. Overall what I will say about this place is this-if you have ever had the idea that maybe you have an interest in golf and want to go to a judgement free spot where you can try it out-this is your place.If you want a no frills spot to go and work on your game-this is your place.If you want a spot you and your friends can meet and chill and maybe throw back a beer or two while doing something somewhat active-this is your place.So do yourself a favor and head on out to Leader Golf and give this amazing game a chance-it just might start a lifelong obsession-see ya out there. If you wanted to rent them for an 18 whole game, you could rent them for double the price at $30. The clubs here were pretty good where they give you irons from 6 to 9 with a pitching wedge, gap wedge driver and two hybrids of course itself is very straight with a couple par 3's to par 5's. The grass here is maintained with not a lot of dirt or bumpy ground and a great place to practice using all your clubs. I was able to rent a golf cart too which was nice and new compared to other golf carts at other courses. Cons: the price here is not that bad ranging around $50 to 80 depending on how many holes you play. The location of the driving range and the pro shop compared to the first hole is kind of far but the good thing is that there's two different 18 whole courses here one that's beginner and another one that's advanced specifically I played the arcade course, which was the beginner course. Verdict: I highly recommend this place to practice using all your clubs where I had great maintained grass and greens and was in a good location with high-quality rental clubs and golf carts.
