Despite some unfortunate hiccups, I decided to give uní k wax here in Bal harbour a second chance. My first initial experience, all be it wasn't the best, but one can't judge someone because of a bad day. I've come back a couple times, and the service has been good, especially with Marcela. You should ask for her whenever you book! She takes a lot of pride in her work. You'll see the results! Their manager Norma is everything and some of empathetic and understanding, and Rita at the front desk welcomes and receives clients beyond well! She deals with I'm sure all the personalities within the team, but is an absolute gem. If Marcela isn't available, be sure to ask for Lorena! You're one great hands with either one! read more

I've come here several times to get my face "defurred" and my esthetician is Mariel. She has solid eyebrows herself so obviously I trust her with mines. She also introduced me to the Nose wax which amazingly removed my blackheads on my nose! I had never heard of anyone doing that but once she did it, I must admit I will be doing it forever. I'm pretty furry so she really gets into it and makes sure I'm smooth before I leave. My unibrow can be unruly at times but they are no match for her tweezers. If you make your appointments online, you get some perks and ability to confirm which esthetician you would prefer along with which services you would like. I wish they had some parking spots reserved for them. Even if it's just two little spots so people can come in and out easier. Overall, as long as Mariel is my esthetician,I trust her with my face. read more

Super delicate and very accommodating, I have extremely sensitive skin and it's always a pain to go waxing but this location really paid attention to my request of a patient and kind waxing specialist To help me feel more comfortable with the whole process. Sorry! I came here because is my neighbor, but if this particular owner doen't train the people like everybody else i don't see future ! This iwas the worst and my last !!!!! It is too expensive , for not receive the service it supose to be, she didn't do my toes with my lower leg, no gel, not even clean the wax and i know that is not going to past 1 week to go again to another place. This place changed my mind about waxing. I have been waxing for a while but dreaded it every time because its painful during and afterwards and its messy. I was always left with burns and bruises for days afterwards and ingrown hairs and just had to accept it. Until I discoved uni k wax. I don't know what miracle wax they use. I only book with Marcela, she is the best I ever had. The way she waxes is painless, and she keeps it clean no mess when she waxes me. She makes you feel comfortable. She is so quick. I never have any burns or bruises, and no ingrown hairs. The hair is growing less and thinner. I have been waxing with her for the past six months or more. The worst experience I had, first of all the salon call me twice to re-schedule my appoiment, and when I got there I had to wait for a half an hour , I went to get my upper lip, under arm, legs, chin , and under lip wax, my under lip and chin was good, but the upper lip was only half done, the legs i have hair everywhere. And the prices are not low so I tough that for that price they could do a good job but not I wont go there never again. read more
