Instead, they want to handle the complaint internally, so they ask "How can we improve"... Where you can improve? Firstly, getting a service that works consistently. Secondly, getting people to answer the phone to respond to calls of distress when the phones are not functioning instead of a "leave a message and we'll get back to you when we can". Getting timely answers instead of waiting without phone service during the work day - or any time there is ANY issue with the phone. Waiting is the death of sales, and our business needs sales to pay your service bill. The phone is the business lifeline. If I wanted to use my personal cell phone for a business line I would set it up that way. However, I want a land line that works consistently and a service provider that answers the phone when something is wrong. That is not what I get here. read more

A check intended for our property management company was fraudulently deposited into Unified Global Solutions' account. We contacted the company, and they located and confirmed that they received the check and that the funds were deposited into their account. Despite acknowledging that they had the check and the funds, they have since stopped responding and have not returned the funds. This has been an ongoing issue for months and has required significant time and effort to try to resolve. We have repeatedly reached out asking for the funds to be returned, but Unified Global Solutions has now completely ghosted us. I own a small service-based business and have used Unified Global Solutions for our telephone service. Unfortunately, our experience has involved repeated and ongoing service problems. Over the past year, we have submitted numerous support tickets for issues including incoming calls ringing but not connecting, calls dropping after being answered, inability to make outgoing calls, voicemail failures, wireless phones not ringing, and audio problems. After I requested the port-out PIN to move our numbers to another provider, I noticed an increase in connectivity and service issues, particularly on weekends. I cannot say why this occurred, but the timing was concerning and resulted in additional support tickets. Most recently, clients were again unable to leave voicemail messages. For a small business, reliable phone service is essential. Missed calls and unavailable voicemail can mean missed appointments and lost business. Although support has responded to tickets, the problems have continued to recur. We are now in the process of moving our phone service to another provider. We have been a customer for aroudn 3 years now, I think. We have enjoyed a good relationship with them up until about 5 or 6 months ago. We have had an issue with spam callers calling into our system, and that is not entirely their fault. They tried a forwarding of calls to an auto-attendant and that stopped spammers from leaving messages, but it is still non-stop spam ringing (976 calls to my desk in the month of June!) That is all background though. My biggest issue is that they do not respond to trouble-tickets anymore. This last one has not been responded to in 9 days. Nothing. And that one was referencing another ticket that was updated 14 days ago. I was finally able to get through to them by calling, but only able to reach them through billing, as support just continued to have me in a queue. Brittany in billing (thumbs up to her for sure!) was able to contact her team, about the issue but I'm not holding my breath. All in all, I just don't see how they can operate like that. read more

A very misleading and corrupt experience. A sales rep totally mislead my employer. Did not leave a copy of the contract said it would all be emailed. It was changed to read totally differently, to the point that the added figures do not even add up correctly . WE were led to believe everything was included in a much lower price. And then received billing from a second company stating we now had a 60 month contract with them that we absolutely knew nothing of this said contract. The service worked well for the first month and then suddenly our internet speed was KB not MB and cost us over 2 weeks of horrible phone service and internet at dial up speed. Which required a new router from yet another company. We were totally not impressed with this company they are a huge fraud and money scam. The bills from the second company that we didn't even know anything about bills that had been going into spam email. They suddenly started calling our business 4 months after the service was installed demanding over $1,200.00 in back bills. With which we asked them what were they talking about we had no contract with them and then they stated it was through Unified Global. This was when we discovered they had used a electronic signature from the internet to enter us into a 60 month contract for our phones and equipment. which was the router, 2 handheld wireless phones valued at 149.00 and 89.00 a antena, and $220.00 for 60 months. $13,200.00 we never agreed to this part and why would we. We were told the service was month to month and we could cancel at anytime. This is a small company that does counseling and therapy. We were misled with deceptive sales tactics entering a contract that UBS failed to deliver on. We were promised if we switched our phone and internet service over to UBS we would be delivered faster high-speed internet, and their phone service would be a much better solution that our existing service. The opposite occurred. We communicated to UBS and were told this is a rare occurrence and to keep our current service with COMCAST. When I asked them to cancel their contract because of failure to deliver what was promised they cut off my business line and effectively cut us off from phone contact with all of our clients. I have emailed, called on a cell line and written certified letters and have had no resolution. This has been a nightmare. This might be the worst company ever. There sales person Craig did a great job selling us the product. Since then it has been an avalanche of disappointment. There install was done by people that do not have any proffessionalism. Lines being supported by 2x4's on our roofline facing the street from our newly constructed building. When questioned about it on a third visit out, they were confident that the work we were discussing could not have been them, only to apologize later that it was. The system has never worked correctly. Multiple trips out, (tickets) having to call Craig multiple times because their service teams are rude and take no onus to their work. Billing is a nightmare. Getting billed for product they left on site. Trying to mail it back to them, (why am I having to do this and it was a lot of equipment. Having to have Craig come back and deliver it but never getting credit.) Multiple bills a month with no invoice numbers to know what you have paid for and what you haven't. Finally getting a proposal to fix what has never worked weeks after the last call that there was a problem and getting a qoute for $120 per hour to fix it. When they are trying to get you to sign up, they make a lot of promises and answer all your calls. The sales person is not to be trusted, they will say whatever they need to, to get you to sign. As soon as you sign, you are stuck! READ THE FINE PRINT! The Canon contract they make you sign just to see if the service will work for you, is not worth it and you cannot get out of once you sign and your stuck for years with excuses and the only solution is to sign more contracts for additional equipment that is not going to solve your problems. They only care about servicing your phones but say they will take care of your internet as well, NOT! I now have 3 bills to pay (UGS, T-Mobile and Canon) vs. the one I had to pay with Comcast for service that is subpar. You will way overpay for the equipment, so watch out! Yes, they will come out and replace any of their equipment if it fails but at a huge cost in the long run. I could have purchased the equipment on the Canon contract for $1000-$1200 and now will pay over $35,000 for it by the time the contract is up. The VOIP phone system is weak, the sound quality is horrible and completely dependent on the internet, so bad internet equals BAD or NO PHONES. False Promises and terrible customer service. My salesman Joe B came to my office to sell me the services. I was promised superior customer service, a phone system that has never gone down, and sold T-Mobile Internet service as the fastest option. Each one of these promises false and misleading. The T-Mobile service was so slow that my calls would cut out or there would be static. The T-Mobile Service could not handle VOIP, nor handle internet usage for our computers. Within the first full week of the new service, all of my phone lines went down because a server at Unified Global went down. I have been attempting to cancel the service with my project manager, but she keeps telling me that I need to handle this through Jennifer Cherry in accounting. Although Jennifer was responsive when Unified was attempting to procure my account, she has not returned a call or responded to my emails. I reached out to Joe B several times to discuss the false and misleading statements and he seemed very sympathetic, but after several weeks, he told me there is nothing he can do because his employment with Unified Global was terminated. Approximately one week after being told that Joe B was terminated, I received a call from a potential customer of UGS asking about my review and my experience with UGS. The potential new customer advised me that Joe B was hounding him to sign up as recent as three days ago and was calling him everyday about signing up for the service. If anyone else is having as much trouble as I am and such trouble is based upon false and misleading representations from their salesman, we should look into a class action lawsuit. The USG salesperson will match the price with your current service provider and once you sign contract, the Salesperson will leave the company, or their email address will not be active (basically blocked your email address). They quoted us the pricing of $189.00 a month and actual billing between USG and Equipment financing company called Grayer for $75.00 which makes $235.00 a month which is higher than quoted price. The USG is telephoning No. hosting company in cloud where they will subcontract the Internet service and Equipment rental with third parties, and these contracts are long term non-cancellable. read more

This company repeatedly asks you to check out their Google reviews, which are mostly bogus. Their Yelp reviews are nearly all 1 star, and are more in line with my experience today. They called to schedule a meeting, claiming to be a Comcast partner. I pressed the woman to find out if they were a new provider trying to get us to switch, and she confirmed they were. We scheduled a meeting and then they showed up several days early and at the wrong time. The sales rep was very pushy. All sales meetings go through myself, the business manager, and are then presented to the owners. However, I do have signing authority. The rep brushed me off and wouldn't give me the information and kept pushing for the owners, who do not work in the building. He insisted that the owners set up this meeting (they 100% did not, UGS contacted me to set up this meeting). He finally gave me a verbal quote but insinuated that the price would go up if we didn't lock it in immediately. The entire experience came off pushy, sleazy, and scammy. read more

I manage a spa in Philly. The worst decision we have made as a business was signing on with UGS. We have had nonstop issues for the past two months. Between calls dropping, not being able to hear callers and vice versa, the phones they installed not working at all, issues with our voice mail, issues with our router, it just never ends. They lock you into a 5 year contract and offer to buy you out of your previous carrier, but they ignore your emails when you inquire about when we will actually see the money reimbursed. It has been 2 months and we still haven't gotten our money back. They claim to have 24/7 support, but there have been times we waited days for someone to acknowledge a support ticket with the excuse being "we have a lot of tickets to get through". Their main selling point was their 24/7 reliable and efficient customer support, unlike corporate CS hotlines that take hours of waiting on hold to speak to a human, but at this point I would much rather wait on hold than to deal with the horror we have experienced with UGS. They say they are doing everything they can to resolve the issues, but we wait days on end to hear back from the technicians and the project manager. All they do is send replacement equipment, but it never actually fixes anything. One of the technicians they sent was behaving very unprofessionally in our business space and causing disruption to our operations. UGS claims that we never "switched over to their equipment" - this is a misleading statement. What actually happened was they never explained to us that they created a new wifi network for us to connect to, which they later told us the log in information for and this did resolve SOME of our internet issues. The issues were still slow until they came out and installed some new equipment to improve our internet. Secondly, they stated that they made multiple visits to our facility to fix ongoing issues, however we still have the same issues with our phones and none have been resolved. Additionally, both our cordless phones decided to spontaneously stop working yesterday. We only have access to 1 phone that works. They claim that they think these issues we are having could be linked to our internet provider, but the kicker is we have been with Comcast for 20 years and have never had any of the issues we have with UGS with any of our old phone providers. When we were with Comcast for the phones, this never happened. When we were with Nextiva, this never happened, so it makes no sense why all of a sudden now that we are with UGS now issues may be because of our "internet provider". Very unprofessional and misleading response from UGS. They are just trying to save their reputation. read more

As soon as he arrived he started to ask for previous invoices and said he could solve our problem, started to fill new service orders and activation forms, after I said I am not a manager and I couldn't make a decision, he started to push me to call my manager, I said he is busy so we will review your offer and call you back, he continues to push me that this offer is only for today and only if we sign a contract for 40 months. He was so pushy and tried to sell us their services. After I asked if they were AT&T partners he said yes, and changed the topic so fast He left and I decided to look for reviews, I wasn't surprised, so I called my manager, told him about the situation, and called the agent to say that we wouldn't move forward with them, after he got upset and said that they do more than other services do, and continued calling my managed again and again. Just got a call from them and they use Caller ID spoofing. Telemarketers are irritating enough, but when they dishonestly represent themselves--how can you trust a company like that. The person who called me was using a local number, 509-402-3382, but when I asked for a call back, the number was 469-210-8430. Any company that uses Caller ID spoofing should not be trusted. There are not many legit reasons to use Caller ID spoofing. One example is a doctor who calls back on his cell, but uses Caller ID spoofing so that his office number shows up on someone's caller ID. Law enforcement has legit reasons to use Caller ID spoofing. Some telemarketer that wants you to believe their business is local, instead of several states away is not a legit reason for using Caller ID spoofing. There are many communication companies that are honest and ethical. Stick with one of them. If you need to confirm--use Yelp! :-) read more

Support is lacking. We have had the phones for just over 3 months and they do not work. The static and calls cutting in and out are horrible. I continuously send in tickets without any resolution. We never had any issues with the service provider that we had before switching. The only reason that we changed was that Unified offered better rates, wish we had stayed with the other provider. I am now paying for phones and service that does not work. We have to give customers our cell phone numbers to be able to handle taking care of them. The phones are an expensive addition to the contract that weren't mentioned, and there is no alert when you have a voicemail. Also, the salesman lied about our ability to get out of the contract. I received a call which the Caller-ID just said "Dallas, Texas." Red Flag #1. The person I spoke to said that they were with Comcast and that they were going to give us faster Internet and lower cost for our phone lines. Having worked at Avaya for over 30 years, I know all of the Telecom Tricks. I kept pressing her as to what company she was with. All she would say is "We Partner with Comcast." I said "Okay, last chance, what Company are YOU with?" She said "We are UGS, and we Partner with Comcast." She assured me that I would still have Comcast, just have lower bills. I set up an appointment for a week later (mainly to get her off the phone), and immediately called Comcast. The person there had never heard of UGS. I then said Unified Global Solutions, still meant nothing to the Comcast Rep. Together we discovered that UGS is a VOIP company. Again, I've dealt with VOIP at Avaya and don't prefer it. But the main thing was the deception used to try to make me think I was keeping the same service, just paying less. Avaya has Business Partners, so I am familiar with the concept, but these guys are definitely NOT Business Partners, they are competitors. After speaking to the Comcast Rep, I called UGS back immediately (less than 15 minutes after I made the appointment, and spoke to a Representative named Layla who told me that she would cancel the appointment. I'll see if the person shows up anyway. If the do, they will be turned away. The way I see it, if you have to lie to get business, you can't be very good. And based on some of the reviews on here, that seems to be accurate. I'd stay away if I were you. read more
