Looking back, we felt that the middle portion of planning was quieter than expected, with long stretches of minimal communication or updates. Because of that, we honestly think couples who prefer lighter involvement might have a better experience with her "month-of" package, since that seems to align more naturally with the areas where she was the most active and present. As we approached the final stretch, things became a bit more stressful. The timeline was finalized later than expected and included several mistakes, which made us feel uneasy heading into the wedding week. At the rehearsal, it felt like some key details we had clarified earlier didn't fully carry over, leading to some confusion. We also often felt like our requests were met with hesitation rather than collaboration or compromise, which added to the pressure of those final days. Instead of a "that sounds great, let's see how we can make that work!", a lot of our ideas were met with a "here's what I think we should do instead." With our package, she does have a full google sheets planner, that you are responsible for filling out (understandably so). However, it felt as though these were prioritized over actual communication. For this reason, looking back I think the 'month-of' contract would've been maybe a better fit and a planner guide could be purchased on etsy. All of that said, we want to acknowledge that on the actual wedding day, she was very helpful and very present, and we ended up having a truly beautiful wedding. We're grateful for the effort she put in, especially early on, and we know she has strengths that many couples will appreciate. With more consistent communication throughout the full planning period, a bit more attention to detail in the end stages, and appreciating and compromising on the couples ideas, we think future clients could have a better experience.

When it came time for her to do games as the spongey dude she was still very patient, even though we had some rowdy kids who seemed to lose a bit of interest. She stayed longer and engaged with my 2 year old for the last 30 minutes and gave her lots of hugs and high fives. That alone was worth our money! Read on. I used Natalie on June 22nd 2013 for my wedding. Natalie met with my (to-be) wife and I and she had helpful checklists that rapidly took us through every aspect of the day. She was very interested in our suggestions and asked a lot of questions to hone in on exactly what mood, tone and atmosphere we wanted created at every point. She was able to come up with music for the entire day and evening that can only be described as "the perfect everything for Mike and Holly's wedding". Natalie never said "no" or "we can't really do that" or "I don't have that music". That was reassuring to us! When you are trying to put together a wedding on a tight budget and tight time line, having someone like Natalie on our team really made what could have been a fricking nightmare a lot calmer. She used the phrase "no worries" a lot, meant it, and ultimately she backed that shit up. She also played a live song with me (at my request) and this was very moving to everyone there, to say the least. She sounds like a cross between Cher, Janice Joplin, Linda Perry, Robert Plant and Annie Lennox. She fricking rocks! Part of the whole thing, I wanted a violinist to play for guests arriving and to play with me during the live song. Natalie found a violinist who was not only amazing (someone who played violin live with the biggest names in music), but at a very reasonable price. She even dressed like a pirate, as it was a pirate themed wedding. Playing live with her was a real treat. The last thing I remember that night was my wife and I dancing the night away to block rockin' beats and every corny disco and funk song we ever loved growing up, and lots of other music picked to entertain our extremely diverse party of guests. "A good time was had by all" and this pirate themed wedding literally went down in history and became the discussion de rigueur on Facebook for the next fricking month lol.
