This company, sheesh, where do I start!! We are a small mom and pop shop and Unifirst has been a complete nightmare from the very beginning! They consistently lose or do not return items that were handed into them weekly. I'm sure it's because they have such a large employee turnover who never truly get a grasp of the job specifics. We have had so many delivery drivers service our account, it's crazy. They even cancelled one of my employee's uniforms completely and we had to wait a month to get uniforms again. Then the "manager" stopped in and accused us of having something to do with the uniform cancellation. He stated that we would have to push five buttons on their tablet to cancel an employee's uniform. I asked him if he was accusing me of pushing those buttons?! The guy was completely rude and combative in front of customers that were in our showroom, with no apologies for the issues we were having. We have lost track of how many times our employees have had missing garments. Unifirst never takes ownership of any mistakes and then they bill you for it! Then it is our headache to call/email the reps and fight to make it right. From missing buttons and broken zippers that were never fixed after tagging them and telling the delivery drivers about it, to missing and dirty garments on a weekly basis. In short, this place provides absolutely horrible service! Anyone who reads this should consider another uniform company. After multiple breaches of the contract by Unifirst, the contract was terminated by us and Unifirst had the nerve to bill me for the rest of the full term of the contract and hired a lawyer to collect for services Unifirst will never perform. read more

Super bad experience. After 2years of a salesman​ named Bob coming to my door repeatedly requesting a chance at my company using Unifirst for our uniform needs. I told him finally that I would give them a shot but, as long as I wasn't under contract. We'll get back to that. At my business it is 3 employees and I. We all got uniforms. Bob came out to measure us up right away. "Bob is a real friendly guy." When Bob was measuring us he convinced an employee and I to get a size larger. Trust me he said. After Bob left it took over 4 weeks for us to get our uniforms. When we called Bob to find out where our uniforms were they told us he would have to talk to our route manager that Bob couldn't help us anymore. He was just our sales rep. We where charge each week though. They would come by and drop off rubber gloves that was part of the service. Not discounting the uniforms. Long story short these are the things that went wrong. Incorrect uniform sizes, uniforms coming back messed up, being charged for things they weren't bringing, not showing up, not bring uniforms to new address but still charging. Avoid!!! Unifirst Uniforms are failures in the uniform industry. They provide poor quality uniforms, their service sucks, and their contracts are predatory. Jordan Wells was our service manager. 2014 & 2015 We complained over and over again throughout 2015 about our mechanics not even having uniforms to wear for 2-3 weeks at a time. They never fixed ripped, torn, or blown out shirts or jeans. The jeans would come back in poor condition and the sizes were never right. We had very high upfront costs when we added a new employee, and then at the end of the contract we had to buy all of the items we ever used. Jorden Wells - the service manager said he would fix all of the problems we presented......and it never happened. we complained a few more times over a 3 month period, and still faced the same issues over and over again. We addressed with Jordan that we felt Unifirst has failed to up hold their side of the contract multiple times and we were switching to Cintas. (CINTAS has been GREAT. No longer do we have cheap, torn, and dirty uniforms for our techs. We ended up receiving a breach of contract notice with a promise of a lawsuit for liquidated damages............. Looking online and finding thousands of complaints covering the same issues we faced and seeing that in most cases Unifirst wins the lawsuits; we decided to talk with them. Well our buyout of the Unifirst uniforms contract from UniFirst Holdings Inc. is just over $9,400.00. This is INSANE! This company needs to have a class action lawsuit filed against them for their predatory contracts, poor service, and cheap crappy uniforms.
