New to McKinney, after losing weight, I searched for someone to do some simple alterations on some expensive tops. Leeann was nice and did good work in the begining. .Per her prequest, I always paid in cash whatever she charged. After several visits, she began to lean on me regarding the time required to do the work. She would put mine aside to do others first. The last time I was there, she was busy and simply refused to help me. She told me to come back next month. I find this impossible to understand. I was a repeat customer who paid in CASH and never once complained about the work NOR the length of wait time! I alays agreed to wait while she handled other "special occasion " customers first. I like her and I'm happy she is successful enough to turn down busines. I wish her good luck with her seasonal customers and their charge card one-time graduation or wedding garment alterations. I prefer to patronize a service-based business based on "first come, first served" that are HAPPY to have my business whenever I come in. read more

I can't rate on quality of work since I still haven't gotten my pants back but I can say that their "hours of operation" are just a guideline and they are never open at 9am like posted. I have tried to pick up my pants 3 times and arrived around 9:30am with a line waiting outside and they are not open! Very unprofessional! read more

I waited for you to come to the desk, you snatched the white ticket off of my items that you altered to say $78. I told you the night before this was not my mistake that you didn't charge me and I wasn't paying $50 and would've never agreed to $50. You told me you would take $10 off if I paid in cash. I contacted a lawyer and the police station and asked if my legal contract, the receipt, was enough proof and I did not have to pay the money you were scamming me out of because I did not agree to it. They told me that is correct and since you didn't ask me before changing the price and I did not agree to it there is nothing you can do. So I told you I was not paying $78, handed you $60 and walked out. You then proceeded to text me and tell me you didn't even work on the straps- so why would you text me this? You are a scam!! I will never be back which is so sad because I have been using you for 8 years on top of all of my family & friends. What a terrible business! Oh & we were in there a good 2-3 minutes because you took ages to even come to the desk and check me out! Pickup was today 12/21 and at 7:30pm on 12/20 she texted and told me she didn't accurately charge me and it would be $25 more. So $28 for 2 pants and $50 for a dress. I did told her this was not okay and I would've never left my items with her if that was the case and left it at that. Today when I go to pickup I bring my yellow receipt and $60 which was the agreed contract on 12/14. I picked up my items and she says it would be $78 and I told her no, gave her $60, showed my yellow receipt and walked out. She then texts me and says good thing she didn't do the straps because I never told her to at 7:30pm on 12/20. So you were charging me $78 to not even have done the work?! If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. My visit to this establishment was a complete nightmare. I brought in three pairs of delicate lululemon leggings that needed minor stitching on tiny seams, thinking it would be a simple job. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Upon returning to pick up my leggings, I was horrified to discover that the tailor had sewn a crotch patch onto the outside of the leggings! Not only was the work done poorly, but the tailor's attitude was extremely rude and dismissive when I expressed my concern. She suggested that I should just buy new pairs of leggings instead of having them fixed. I explained that the cost of replacing three pairs would be over $300, while the repair was a much more affordable $8. Her response was callous and unprofessional. Reluctantly, I left my leggings for her to correct the mistake, and when I returned the following week, I was met with even more disappointment. The tailor tried to blame me, stating that there were additional holes in the fabric that weren't present when I dropped them off. This accusation was an absolute lie. I had meticulously inspected these leggings for months and had never worn them due to the one seam that needed stitching. To make matters worse, they had to stitch even more holes because of the botched crotch patch sewn on the outside. The tailor's suggestion that I should have kept that embarrassing mistake was beyond disgusting and offensive. She said and I quote "who's going to be looking in your crotch" really threw me for a loop. Instead of apologizing and accepting the mistake she was completely nasty about the situation. I cannot stress enough how awful my experience was at this place. Not only was the quality of the work terrible, but the owner's attitude and lack of professionalism made it even worse. Review: I went in this morning to try to get some of my husband's army uniforms altered with new name tapes and rank tapes. The woman working was on the phone and was trying to take my order while still on the phone. When she realized that she wouldn't be able to, she tells the caller she will call them tonight (very obviously not a customer). She lets my son play with some toys that she has in the shop while we talk, or should I say while I try to talk and she incessantly interrupts me. My son got into one of her potted plants and pulls a few stems out and she demands that I pay her $12 for the plant, which is still alive and in its pot. This is after she says my child can play with the toys that are there in their lobby. WORD OF WISDOM: DON'T PUT THINGS IN YOUR LOBBY THAT YOU DON'T WANT MESSED WITH, and don't demand a customer pay for something when you aren't even patient enough to write instructions down for the customer's order. She then argues with me about the PLACEMENT of one of the rank tapes even though I have the REGULATIONS printed out in front of her. I obviously was disrupting her phone call and now she had no patience in taking my order. DO NOT GO HERE. The lack of customer service is appalling. read more

I have used their services many times in the past. This time was different. I needed a suit altered for an interview. I brought it in on a Thursday the day that I found out about the interview. I needed it the following Tuesday. I tried it on. She pinned the pants to adjust the length and the sleeve length. I then mentioned that the waist needed to be taken in. She then asked, "would I be able to keep from gaining weight?" I have been working 12-hour days and have been losing weight not that it is any of her business. I also asked her to take the jacket in to make it fit better. She then remarked that there was not much room to take in. I wrote down my name and number offered to pay extra for the rush job and left. Today, I came in at 4 o'clock to get the suit as agreed upon. She was busy. Not a problem I waited my turn. I told her what I was there for, and she asked for the ticket I told her I did not have one. She searched for the items then told me to go and look for the ticket in the car. So, I did. I came back in with no ticket. She asked why I did not have a ticket? I told her that I am a student studying 12 hours a day and I have no idea what happened. She then berated me more about how I needed the ticket. She waited on other people. She then looked again as she berated me more as she said it would be easier if I had the ticket. I told her it would be easier if I did not have to put in 12-hour days every day. She finally found my suit and both tickets. She then told me that next time I need to make sure that I get the yellow ticket. As if I know how she runs her business. I spent half an hour putting up with her insults and berating me. I understand that she was busy, but there was no need to speak to me nor treat me like that. I was just trying to get my suit. I paid her the $81 for the alteration. You better know I will never go there again. I would rather pay 3 times the price then to be treated like that ever again!! At no time was I ever rude. This place was awful. I went in with a bridal party to get all of our bridesmaids dresses altered. My fitting went fine, but the woman who measured us said that one of the other women in the party would need to lose 2 inches and there was nothing she could do. She also told us, after a zipper was broken on a too small dress, that she would replace the zipper but it wouldn't match and if we wanted a matching zipper, we would have to provide it ourselves. When I picked up my dress, it was hemmed too short and lopsided. The dress was supposed to touch the floor, now it is several inches above it. The right side of the dress is significantly longer than the left side, AND there is a hole in the top layer of the material front and center that was not there when I brought it in. They also hemmed the underside of the dress super short, which doesn't make sense. (I wore the exact same boots to the fitting, btw) I would not recommend them under any circumstances. read more

after a neighbor recommended this place to me I am so happy I went with them for my alterations. I came in last minute (after receiving my dress late) to have some alterations done for a wedding. I dropped it off on a Monday and they said they would definitely have it ready for me by my deadline which was Wednesday evening. They did not come short with the quality work that they did given the time frame. My only concern was that the strap was too high up which made my dress look like a halter top and due to me rushing my way to the airport I was not able to stay and have them repair it. They did make things right by informing me I can return to them and have it fixed at no charge. I would highly recommend this place! read more

The worst experience EVER! I took eight garments in on a Wednesday and was assured that the alterations would be complete by noon on the following Friday as I was leaving on vacation. I arrived at noon on Friday to find that none of my garments had been touched. I was offered no concessions and sincere apology, only a poor excuse that she'd forgotten. I was not impressed at all. First, I called them to ask the pricing on adjusting cleavage on a dress. I asked for approximate cost since I was calling multiple shops. She would not give me a price and kept saying just bring it in bring it in!!! Even though I found her very rude on the phone I went anyways. The lady was mopping the floor when we arrived and actually got irritated because we stepped on the floor. My bad!! Not a good start. She didn't ask my daughter to try on the dress. She just grabbed it and said there is nothing I can do to fix it. It wasn't a pleasant t experience and I ended up going to another tailor who was much more professional and nice.
