He measured and looked at the arches of my feet, then brought out various shoes to try on. There is an area to run with the shoes and feel how they preform. After I selected my pair, he then showed different colors and I got a 15% discount for belonging to a gym. Online, my size, 10e, is never a problem. In this store, they seem to operate on some formula for in stock sizes that dates back to the American 1960s. Most of their styles do not have a 10e, they have 10, 10.5 standard width, and 10eee. They say, if I don't see my size, to ask a salesperson, but this results in the sales person looking through the same stack I just looked through (taking a little longer than me) and pronouncing that they don't seem to have my size. Very annoying. I'm going to stick to ordering directly from Allen Edmonds or Kiziks.
