I haven't been here in years and forgot how great this place is for bar food. This is one of my favorite fish fries in the city because it's hand breaded with a flavorful coating with flaky hot fish. The coleslaw is perfect because it's very fine with a celery seed. The rye bread is fresh and not dried out. My best advice is to get the breaded mushrooms. They are some of the best I've ever eaten because again they are hand breaded. On Fridays you must get free fresh cake again homemade not bought. We tried three of the desserts and they didn't disappoint. Drinks are a strong pour and if you're lucky the owners wife will serve you because she's awesome. Get your bootie to Stallis for some of the best bar food around. BTW their French dip was also really tasty.

This is a large location with plenty of space for a big crowd. The bar itself is long and the location has dozens of tables and chairs for seating. It was okay, a little dry and the rice tasted like instant rice with lots of oil. I looked at the menu later and it did come with salad. It Is disappointing that the server did not believe me and was not informed about the menu. I was still charged full price for my meal despite her never bringing me my salad. I felt that was unfair.
