Unik Nails is great at acrylic sets. This is the only place I will get my full sets done. Both Layla and Mia do a fantastic job. I recommend making an appointment rather than walking in. They run Happy Hour specials Monday-Wednesday until 1pm. The salon is clean and the ambiance is relaxing. I got a pedicure once and didn't care too much for it. Overall, I love this place. read more

the lady in the register tried to charge me $235 for a full set and 2 basic pedicure . When I ask her why so much ?? she said thats how much the service cost. so I ask her to break it down for me and then she acted like she got caught . my service really cost $145. I still gave tips but will never go back. posting 2 weeks post my full set. it looks like chicken feet. nails sticking up . forgot to took pics same day but. never again. read more

Had a regular pedicure & gel nails done for my granddaughter's graduation. My pedicure was great. However, my gel manicure done at the pedicure seat wasn't so good. They didnt take the color choice book away, put a bowl to soak my fingers in & trying to balance book on my lap, the water spilled on me. I paid $90 + tips. When I got home I had nail polish on the skin around my nails, which you couldn't see in the shop. read more

I paid $82 for a Gel-X manicure (additional $10 extra for a cat-eye design) Before the service started, I showed the nail tech an image on my phone clearly showing the cat-eye effect I wanted, using the same magnet. After paying, I even showed her a video demonstrating how it should look. Instead of addressing my concerns, she gave vague answers and then just said "no" when I asked why it wasn't done correctly. I never received a clear explanation, so I walked away. The $10 charge was for a magnet imprint line that took about 3 seconds per nail. The entire service was rushed--I arrived at 3 PM and was already out of the chair paying by 3:30 PM. FOR GEL X W/CATEYE DESIGN???! It was obvious she was rushing to get to the next client. UPDATE: Now, less than 24 hours later, THUMB NAIL completely lifted (I had to super glue back down) then FOLLOWING DAY: MIDDLE FINGERNAIL, PINKY FINGERNAIL, AND RING FINGERNAIL COMPLETELY POPPED OFF! 4 finger nails in 48 hours?! BEYOND pissed. Will be returning to a different salon immediately for complete removal and new set. Absolutely ridiculous. At my usual salon, I've been getting Gel-X and cat-eye manicures consistently for nearly a year without any issues with the expected results or lifting. I asked for a magnet correction but was refused. Since this salon is nearly an hour away, I cannot return. Nor would I want to. I've expeditiously requested a refund for the poor service and defective product quality. read more

Not only do I love this place but my daughter as well and as of today my mom and brother. I've been coming to this place since it opened and it's safe to say I wouldn't go to any other place Tiffany (lady with glasses down below) always greets us with a smile, super nice, and just a great person in general. New client, walk in. I showed them what I wanted and I asked for the pricing and she said 60. All went well. She understood me. Got what I wanted, but towards the end at checkout she charged me over $100. I told her that's not what we agreed. She said it starts at $60 which she did not. I told her $60 for everything and she said yes. Sketchy practices. They asked for a tip afterwards which I declined. I get it but be real with your clients. Name your prices honestly. Will not be returning. Please do not come here find some place else. My nail broke already less than a week. She didn't clean up the sides and left some inside of the nail bed. I used to love love love coming here but after today, unsatisfied. I showed a picture for reference of what I was looking to get and below is what I got, my nails are boxy, feel heavy, have air bubbles and the lines are uneven. I have always had a great experience here which is why I kept coming back but after today I do not think of coming back here. I was really looking forward to pampering myself after months of not doing it and this is what I get, I'm out $120+ and hate my nails. I asked my nail tech to round the edges a little so they weren't so sharp and she said "If you round it, it won't look French tip." Anyway, I do not plan on coming back. read more

left a little disappointed with the quality of service and nails today, usually it's great so maybe it was just on off day. I requested an almond gel-x manicure, I'd say the shape itself is more round than almond which was the first disappointment; no big deal about the shape though I usually fix it myself if it doesn't come out the cleanest. What I'm pretty sad about is the quality of work itself, the gel-x extensions were placed pretty crooked, I have large gaps underneath my nail yet somehow the gel is also overflowing. After the first round of nail polish didn't work out, due to bubbles & dust being highly visible, I ended up leaving with a simple clear pink gel because I was just too sad to speak up again. Like I said, usually the work & service come out great, today was not one of those days and I'm also out $65. read more

This is our 4th time back and this time we tried the CBD pedicure. This comes with a crystal activator that's added to your water, an exfoliating scrub, a collagen mask, muscle relaxing lotion, callus remover, paraffin treatment for feet AND hands then a 15 minute massage with CBD cream and hot stones. Very clean, professional and took their time. I took my daughter to get her hands and nails painted. I got a pedicure as well. The gentleman that did my pedicure was very friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. He took his time and was good at what he did. I went here b/. It was new to my area and had great reviews , my birthday is coming up next week and I decided to treat myself to a full set. I was so excited to get my nails done (I usually never get them done). Made an appointment the day before and arrived 5 minutes before was greeted and sat right way. I showed the nail tech what I wanted and she got right to work she was nice, however I wish she would have told me she couldn't do the design I had shown her. She tried her best and few times redoing it over and over but just couldn't. At the last try I just could tell she just didn't know what she was doing and asked if she would leave them plain instead. She asked me if I wanted chrome at least (I'd never had chrome nails) so I told her it was fine. I wish they would have told me up front that she couldn't do that design. Or if I had a back up instead of trying over and over and well I ended up very disappointed over the shape and with no design. The color is probably the only thing these nails have going. She also didn't clean up my cuticles prior to applying the acrylic? Long story short I learned my lesson and more than likely wouldn't return here . Update: the nail shop contacted me and are going to make it right, I appreciate this gesture I'm going back tomorrow. Will update after. I tried this spot once again. Thought that they deserved a second chance. I was wrong waited almost 1hour after my appointment time. Why schedule appointments if you aren't going to stick to it. I usually never leave reviews but this nail salon truly deserves to be recognized! All of the staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming to everyone. Everyone here does an amazing job but Mia specifically does exceptional work. When she does my gel manicure it lasts at LEAST a month with NO chipping. (They would probably last longer but I like redoing my nails once a month.) Pricing is also extremely fair. All in all this place is truly worth visiting. read more

Im really sad to say that I got an infection on my toe, I had noticed she had trimmed the nail and all and when she put alcohol it burned a bit so I assumed ah maybe nicked me, keep in mind my toes were fine the day before. I got home after the pedicure and my toe was sore I thought maybe she was just too rough with the file or something. Next morning which is today my toe is completely swollen, red, and puss is coming out and the pain was radiating to my foot. On my way to urgent care now as I can't stand the pain anymore but super sad this happened to me right before my vacation thought I was getting a simple pedicure and leaving with a horrible experience :( read more

Went in for a Basic Pedicure today. I had an appointment that I scheduled that same morning. I was seated quickly. They have tons of polish colors. I got regular polish but they have gel and dip. The prices are about the same as many nails salons in the area. I would definitely recommend, and I will be returning. great new salon! read more

Please don't come here if you want to wait 30+ min to have your service done. I made an appointment at 1pm and was just sitting and waiting without being checked on. I went to one of the nail techs that would have done my service and I asked nicely if I should just make an another nail appointment because I've been sitting on the chair waiting for 30min and all she said okay I have 5 more minutes. I literally left because that was ridiculous and she said was "I'm sorry" and nothing else. This place is unprofessional go take your money somewhere else! They clearly don't have time management and take on too many clients plus being behind even if you scheduled an appointment ahead of time. read more

I went this morning with my mom to get her birthday nails and was very upset on service from the staff there. Work was done perfectly and my mom was satisfied with her nails but they get very frustrated when she didn't know which shade of pink to do. The girl pretty much said she was frustrated because my mom couldn't pick a color and needed help. Looking over at my mom and seeing her cry really got my upset so I went over and tried to understand why my mom was so unhappy and she said the lady kept getting frustrated and with her. Even when my mom sat down to get her pedicure done she tried talking to the staff and they would start talking in there language and laugh at my mom.. it was obvious they were saying something mean. Not cool! every time my mom would say something to them they would look at each other and talk there language. Work was good but customer service was NOT. My mom did not leave a tip due to being upset and they were basically talking crap in their language as we were walking out. BE NICE AND PATIENT TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!! Never coming back again. Emmy gets very frustrated when doing nails she does not try to help you! She kept telling me "can you help your mom pick a color?" Very frustrated. read more

After asking again if they could see the difference, they offered to add more lashes to one eye, but the issue was not that I needed more -- the lashes needed to be balanced and corrected. I also specifically asked that the lashes not extend to the outer corner of my eye, which was followed on only one eye. The service took nearly two hours, which is much longer than usual. Throughout the process, the technician repeatedly asked me to show pictures of what I wanted, which made the appointment feel uncertain and unprofessional. I ultimately left with uneven lashes, uneven eyebrows, and visible nicks on my eyelids. After spending over two hours there, I didn't feel comfortable allowing further corrections from someone who seemed unsure of the service. This experience was very disappointing, especially because I've been a loyal customer for several years. I hope management reviews this situation and ensures that new technicians are properly supervised before performing services on clients

I have no issue with the employee who completed my service; my concern is how the situation was handled and how it made me feel singled out and unwelcome. When I asked for the original waxer's name, two employees gave me different names, (Alysssa W. or Ashley) which further raised concerns about the transparency of the situation. I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism regardless of my race, appearance, or voice. I am asking management to conduct a thorough investigation into this incident, including speaking with the employees involved and reviewing what occurred before, during, and after my service. I also expect management to hold the appropriate employees accountable for their conduct, clarify why I was given conflicting information about the waxer's identity, and take concrete steps to prevent customers from being treated this way in the future. I would appreciate a direct response explaining how this matter was investigated and what corrective action will be taken.

I visited this nail shop for a half-leg waxing session. Despite being busy, which was understandable given it was Mother's Day weekend, the receptionist kindly offered me a spot in the massage chair to wait, which was 35 minutes. The place was clean, and the staff seemed friendly. However, there are a few reasons why I rated it three stars. Firstly, the pricing was a bit misleading. The service sheet indicated full/half legs for $40+/30+, but this price was for each leg individually, not as a pair, which wasn't immediately clear. Secondly, during the waxing process, the waxing pot was placed beside my head on a cart, resulting in wax drips floating towards me and getting into my hair and clothes. I had to ask the esthetician to bring the cart closer to the area she was working on, which was a bit frustrating as I expected a seamless experience. I don't plan on returning. read more
