Except for the fact that the guy I corresponded with Collin, went to Coe College, the arch rival of my alma mater, Cornell College, the entire transaction was pretty flawless. Matt and Blake called ahead of time to let me know they'd be on time, and they were, even though they were coming to Dubuque from Iowa City. I had a couple of valuable and fragile pieces of custom made furniture, and they handled them like they belonged to their own parents. I also had a 300+ pound scooter that Blake steered while Matt kept it from running away down the ramp. Landed it like champs. They were kind enough to assemble my bed for me, too: I was exhausted after watching the two of them work so hard. There was a two hour minimum for coming this far, and they were done in 90 minutes. I was glad to pay the minimum and to tack on a 20% tip. Blake and Matt were personable, good company. They not only got my stuff unloaded safely and quickly, they made me feel welcome in what I hope will be my new home town. Give Matt, Blake, and Collin (yes, even the Coe grad) your confidence. We are so glad we contacted College Movers! We needed someone on short notice to unload our moving truck when we arrived back in town. We originally contacted another company utilizing students, only to find that there were many added charges. When I spoke with Collin, he immediately arranged scheduling to fit what we needed. I couldn't have asked for better help with our move. Dady and Elijah were/are hard working, very personable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. They both worked with caution making sure that all of our belongings were loaded into our Uhaul with care. We had some very large and heavy pieces of furniture/equipment in which they moved with ease and extra care, ensuring that the home and the equipment remained undamaged. We used Unimovers twice. First was Collin and another guy do not know his name unfortunately, and second time it was Eli and Logan. The entire process was very easy both times. They even rescheduled easily for us when we called a week before. Both times the guys were incredibly nice and hardworking. Great attitudes and desire to make sure we were happy with everything. Edwin and Ethan were amazing. This was a rough move for me and my brother. Our mother passed and we had two days to pack up and move everything from her apartment. It was an extremely stressful time for us. Edwin and Ethan were polite, kind, helpful and expedient. They helped us in ways we didn't even realize we needed help in. They offered to carry furniture to each specific room or do whatever we preferred. While working quickly, they did not rush and they took good care of our items. A (HEAVY) piano was picked up from a different location and delivered to my apartment with no damages to the piano, doorways, or hallways. There were multiple flights of stairs involved and the movers were able to get the job done efficiently and effectively.
