Convenient location however the espresso itself is quite bitter and always burnt. Customer service is sub par, some baristas are friendly and greet with a smile while other simply say "what do you want" , "do you want to tip" Absurd! Tips are earned by good service. This place obviously doesn't understand that a cold brew with cream doesn't mean 1 part coffee and 3 parts cream. Also, slow down on the ice, might be a cost cutting measure, but it shouldn't take 3 sips to get to the center of a terrible drink. read more

Rudest barista I've ever had to deal with. I got to this stand with my friend at 6:50pm and ordered a cold brew with a shot in it and was immediately told she needed to run the machine a few times because she's already cleaned it. I found out after the fact that they close at 8, so I have no idea why she cleaned the machine so early. Put my drink on the counter after waiting and gave me the total and I told her my friend wanted a drink as well and she said super snottily 'Ugh! What do you want?'. The coffee tasted watered down and the barista was super rude, there are too many good coffee shops/stands with bomb coffee and friendly employees to give this one my business. read more

This is for the Marysville Union Coffee. Couldn't find it here. I have been going to Union Coffee (formerly Grove Street Coffee) for a few years. When it was purchased by Union Coffee the prices soared. The baristas are telling customers the "Marysville" tax changed, or their is a new tax. The other answer was that the minimum wage increased. There is no new Marysville tax. It is sales tax that the owners are now putting back on the customers. Sales tax is mandated on every coffee stand in the state. Since forever. When they purchased the Grove Street and 4th Street coffee stands they not only added an increase of about .25 cents per drink, they added the 9.3% sales tax. Roughly a 15% increase on the drink I always get. Every coffee stand I've asked has the sales tax built into the prices. They don't suddenly add a huge increase. I understand the need for increases. What I don't understand is not being honest with the customers. I know the baristas are only relaying what they are told. I don't feel this is very good customer service for the owners. read more

I have never really had a great experience here. Today though was the worst, I would have happily just called the stand and complained to them directly but weirdly enough, they don't have a phone number listed anywhere. I ordered a dark chocolate americano iced, (I always have to ask for light ice because like a lot of stands they cram as much ice as possible in the cup) not only did they girl give me sugar free white choc, which is disgusting in my opinion but the espresso sucked. It just tasted like sugar free white chocolate water. I can usually get over their baristas bad attitude if the drinks are good but they rarely are. read more
