This is such a fun space! We came for an event by BARCS and it was perfect- huge and colorful. I love the large light displays on the walls. We also enjoyed the vending machine near the front door selling unique items! The food was good although a little overpriced. I got their version of a McRib and the portion was large with delicious sauce. The tater tots are fantastic. The staff were friendly and nice as well. Definitely a great place for a large event, especially with the free parking.

The vibe is cool. Nice open and airy establishment. Plenty of space to move around and enjoy your self. Drinks are awesome and the tour was great.

Amazing spot. They wine, cocktails, and beer were fresh and did the job. The charcuterie board was rich with flavors. The service was convenient and quick especially for a Saturday afternoon. Thankfully there's parking and the spot is aesthetically pleasing. It is pricey but worth it.

Fun spot! Great food, tried the pork belly bites and they were yummy! Service was great also, both for the beer and food.

Somehow, Union still feels like three people got together who liked to brew beer and opened a business. The scale of it is no longer small nor lacks any ambition. But the simple concept of brew great beer, bring people together endures. The separate food vendor is constantly good. They have casual outdoor seating where you can bring the dogs. Keep it up Union, cheers.

I attended a UMD Alumni Association party here recently and I just keep coming back! I love this brewery! It's easy to find off of I-83 and has a huge free parking lot. The inside is spacious and open, with plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. They've partnered with Carroll & Son Fine Foods to have a concession stand style walk up for food items, which are delicious. My hipster foodie brother recently visited from Dallas and I brought him here to watch the Ravens game and enjoy some tasty beer and nachos. We had the best time trying different craft brews and watching the game on the big screen with other Ravens fans. It's becoming my go-to when I want to just relax and enjoy a Foxy Red IPA. Great service, also! You can't order a flight here, but you can get up to four smaller pours (which is basically a flight). :)

This is one of my favorite places to meet up with loved ones and have a relaxing hilarious time. The drinks are great, the service is excellent, what else could I say? Oh yes! The events they host are AWESOME and FUN! If you are someone new to Baltimore and looking for a place to connect with the community and make friends, this is the spot!

Meh, it was okay. + cool ambiance, high ceilings + lots of indoor and outdoor seating + food on site +/- food on site, but no outside food allowed +/- beer menu was fine, but a little lacking - the service was SO unfriendly and unwelcoming. This includes the bar AND merch area - no flights, only full or 1/2 pours

My son & I went to Union Craft Brewing to try out some beers & have a small meal. I got a shaved brisket with cheese & condiments in a wrap. I actually would like one right now, sooo very good. My son likes hoppy ipa's & I'm into anything light & no after taste. I highly recommend Zayde's Lager. Zayde means grandfather & is pronounced with a long e. We ate outside at a picnic table, families & couples played sand bag toss. Afterwards we went to the gift shop. Of course we bought. My son bought a team jersey , we bought 3 different glasses: a pony with the union U, a Zayde lager, a glass shaped like a can with Murray's image, some magnets & beer labels The atmosphere was casual & interesting

TLDR: Fun brewery with interesting beers and plenty to do. Ample parking and delicious pizza served by Well Crafted Kitchen. Vibe: 5/5. Located off the main Hampden area, Union is tucked away in an old warehouse sharing the space with several other businesses. One of the biggest perks of the location is the huge parking lot they have available. No need to drive around for several minutes looking for street parking! Union has both inside and outside seating making this perfect for large groups. During my visit, we had a group of 10 and had no problem grabbing a large table outside at 6pm on a Saturday. There are 2 bars, one located inside and one outside which was super convenient. Inside they have some fun decor, including a photo booth camper (free!) and a novelty vending machine definitely worth checking out. Service: 5/5. The entire staff at Union was more than accommodating during our visit. Both bars were easily accessible and the staff was very helpful in helping with beer selection. The same goes for the staff at Well Crafted Kitchen, as we ordered several pizzas from them and they were fantastic at getting us food in a punctual fashion. Food/Beer: 5/5. Very interesting beers! During my visit, I made it a point to sample several of their Workshop beers, which are craft beers only available at the brewery for purchase and are limited releases. That weekend they released a pear saison that was very delicious and the perfect beer to enjoy on a warm August night. The dry hopped saison and white wine apricot Older Pro were also solid sippers. Of course, their normal everyday beer selection is also spectacular and highly recommend those as well. The pizza from Well Crafted Kitchen was also very delicious. We ordered the margarita and the green tomato BLT with both being exceptional.

Beautiful space! Great beer!! WiFi! Music venue that's empty at lunchtime (and open). Great to try locally made beers (DuckPin) and some good lagers (Zaydies) and Heferweizen.

Our quest to visit every Baltimore brewery continues. Union's Old Pro Gose is a top five canned beer for me so I was excited to get it on tap. I just wished they had more of that style. Plenty of parking although I bet it's crowded in summer. There is plenty of room, inside and out for more people than parking. Really nice outside space for the doggies. Tons of room inside with a big bar area. Lots of communal tables. Food from Well Crafted Kitchen was on point. Separate review for that. Super cute little camper thing for kids that included a photo booth. I had Old Pro Gose and the Jones Falls Trail Radler. Both were excellent. Hubby had the GOAT, black lager, and duck pin. That's plus several hands of Uno capped off the evening. Family friendly as well.

    Suns out, floats out!

Big thanks to Kevin who more than graciously provided me with samples to help me figure out what would be my sipper for the evening. They have a beer that smells exactly like weed. I also love the graffiti decor, (see pictures) which depicts depth and originality throughout the brewery. There's also multiple items for purchase from local artists that is displayed throughout as well. There is a lot of space so think about hosting an event here if you need an area. They also have those bay doors and a seating area beyond them which could definitely be a private area. They are also dog friendly so bring your companion as long as they're sociable. They also have a food menu and pop ups looks different items from time to time so make sure to stay in the know so you don't miss out on something special. Make sure to enter in the doors at 3:00 if you're standing directly in front of the purple Wico sign. It isn't around the corner, just turn your head to the right and you'll see the clear doors there. Don't miss them and walk all the way around the corner or getting your car and drive around the corner either SMH I can definitely see myself coming back to enjoy one of their events or just hang out with good company at the bar.

When we arrived, we were seated right away, but it seemed like there were very few staff working--possibly only one waiter. It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. The food then took around 25-30 minutes to come out, which felt very long since we were on a tight schedule for our flight. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish. What a fun brewery!…read more My brother had a birthday gathering here this year - we were able to comfortably seat a group of 15-20 people in the outdoor picnic section area. Highly recommend this spot for groups looking for a place to gather and socialize. The space is deceivingly large; there are multiple indoor spaces all within a quick stride from a long bar with dozens of beer taps. The outdoor space is even larger than what's available indoors; their vast street level patio/deck space is full of picnic tables and benches that are perfect for larger groups when the weather is nice. And yes, their outdoor patio is pet friendly. While the brewery itself doesn't serve food, there was a food truck (that looked to be there quite often) set up in the outdoor area that had several good options. I had their burger and fries which was exactly what I needed after an afternoon of brews. The beer itself was tasty; I had several of their hazy IPA's which I've grown to enjoy. They also offer a very solid selection of N/A beer options; some of the folks in our group enjoyed them and gave them great reviews. I didn't get a chance to check out the arcade portion of the brewery, but yes, this is a barcade as well. This particular day, it was quite busy and unfortunately, there were more children here than there were adults. I get it, there's not much to do out in these parts and for the parents, I'm sure the prospect of setting up a picnic and letting their kids run around the lawn is a big pro. However, it becomes a BIG con for me as a childless person just trying to enjoy myself when there's a cacophony of children screaming, babies being changed on the table in front of me, kids running around unattended, and just general chaos. I don't know how it became so normalized for breweries, where there's alcohol being consumed, to become playgrounds for small children but here we are. My recommendation would be to provide a "child-free" section. The place is absolutely enormous so it wouldn't be hard. Perhaps the "stable bar" area and the lawn in front of it could serve as this child free area. Or maybe there's specific days of the week or certain times of day children aren't allowed? Beyond this complaint, I was pleased to see the food truck menu way more expanded than the last time I was here. They even offer gluten free pizza now! It was pretty good too. I enjoyed the grapefruit seltzer which came canned and loved the mango seltzer slushie. My boyfriend liked his pilsner and hefeweizen, too. Service from one of the bartenders was curt and standoffish - she seemed extremely stressed to be pouring beer and rolled her eyes or scoffed at any request for a sample. Other bartenders were holding it down and keeping their cool though -- she could learn a thing or two from her coworkers.
