Full On Craft Eats & Drinks is my favorite place to get a sandwich. I went there with my friend after they moved down the street into a much bigger location. I was really happy to see they did such a great job making the new place feel like the old one. It has about three times the space and a lot more tables, but they still get the food out just as quickly, the customer service is just as friendly, and the food is the same great quality. I got my favorite, the turkey and cranberry sandwich with onion rings. Their onion rings are amazing. I honestly haven't found onion rings anywhere else that compare. The sandwich is just as good as I remembered. The bread is toasted, so it doesn't get soggy. The turkey is moist without being squishy, and the cranberry sauce isn't overly tart. Everything together just melts in your mouth and is absolutely delicious. I'm so glad they were able to expand without losing what made them special. I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

They were all good, but I'm surprised to say that the French onion soup might actually be my favorite thing here. Went with friends for dinner at the new location at Norbeck Shopping Center. Went at dinner time and it waa busy, 45 minute wait, which was fine. No room at the bar so we stood outside for little while until bemch inside became available. Service was good, atmosphere was slightly noisy, but not where we couldn't hear conversation at our table. Food came out promptly. I tried the chicken salad on brioche which was very good. Hubby had the prime rib which he found overcooked and dry. Our friends had crab cake sandwich which she liked. We all ordered onion rings at additional cost for our side and those were very good. Though this place has a following, I wouldn't say I'm dying to return. Full On Craft Eats & Drinks has moved! And, it moved closer to me, so I am thrilled. The new location is much bigger than the old restaurant. They even have a patio if you want to sit outside. The service was very good. My friend and I were splitting two different sandwiches and the waiter was kind enough to serve them separately. So, we didn't have to worry about anything. We started off with a half of order of onion rings. They were perfectly fried and delicious! There was a very generous amount! Then, we ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich. It was very good. But, the home run goes to the Le Pilgrim. The sandwich had fresh roasted turkey, cranberry-pecan relish, mashed potatoes,cornbread & apple stuffing, herb mayonnaise on French loaf with a gravy dunker on the side. It was a great sandwich and we both finished our halves. And, the dunking gravy was amazing. So, the food was delicious, service was very good, and prices were reasonable. Maryland, Rockville area: Full on Craft reopened in a new location... and it's larger. 5:30ish on a Friday evening, the tables were packed, with a line waiting to be seated, plus a steady stream of people coming in to pick up food. It took about half an hour to get a table outdoors on their patio. We all knew what we wanted to eat so we placed our order quickly ... the kitchen is still working on its timing, but our friendly server regularly checked in on us and gave us the status. Portion sizes were smaller than last time... roast beef was tender and delish, but it wasn't rare, and the horseradish was minimal. Onion rings batter fell off the onions (based on our party size, we were told there were 10 onion rings in a half order; our bowl was missing two onion rings, so they quickly brought two more to the table). Pilgrim and crab cakes looked good. I'm so happy for their success... I'm sure the kitchen will be able to keep up with the high demand! AMAZING team here. read more

Came here for lunch - the place and surrounding area stayed busy. Ordered my favorite: Crab Cake Grilled Cheese Sandwich and a Crock of Tomato Basil Bisque - the biggest size they have. The other person with me also had the sandwich as well. Everything was made perfectly and at the right temperature. I loved it. In addition to using the sauce for dipping the chips, the sandwich got dipped too. So good. I should have gotten the brownie (to-go) for dessert, but I was full. I came 1:40 friday the place was packed. Nice interior large bar and plenty of seating. I ordered the southern raspberry mule which came out very quickly from the bartender! It's delicious . The new space is fabulous! Way more seating and even a nice covered patio. The menu and food remain the same- which has always been good! Whenever we go we split a salad and sandwich. I went to the new location of Full On tonight and was not disappointed. Although this location is easily 4 times as big as the last, the service was terrific. There was a 30 minute wait when I got there, but we were willing to wait. My friend and I ordered my favorite Club Sandwich and those ever-popular onion rings to share. She also got the potato soup, and took home the banana pudding (which is always delicious). Here's where the only complaint of the night came in...the sandwich, which was ordered "to share" came cut 1/3 and 2/3...rather than half and half. So I had 1/3 of a sandwich and onion rings. She left "stuffed"...soup and 2/3 sandwich and onion rings...I left...no longer hungry (which isnt a bad thing). One more really good thing...the sauce that comes with the rings is delicious! The onion rings were phenomenal. And the sauce they provided it tasted so well together!! We got the buffalo chicken wings and they were great (there is a reason why they were voted best wings in 2019). We got the crab cake grilled cheese and the buffalo chicken sandwich and they were alright. We liked the appetizers more than our sandwiches but they were great appetizers. I also had the tomato basil bisque and it was fantastic. I would recommend getting appetizers and get a sandwich if you would want to dip it in soup (it's worth it). read more

This is definitely the premier Sandwich place in Montgomery County, if not the State of Maryland. To me, this place is affectionately known as "The Sandwich place" If i want a sandwich, this is where i will go. I will even go as far as saying that this is the best Sandwich place i've been to. Its that good. All their sandwiches are amazing. I hate Chicken Salad, but this is the ONLY place I will eat a chicken salad and like it. Not just tolerate. They recently moved from the tiny spot on the corner of Norbeck and Georgia to this new location at the Rock Creek Village Center and it is a giant improvement space-wise. The only downside to this place is that if you want something other than sandwiches, well, you're kind of out of luck. My boyfriend and I first met at Full On Craft for a COVID-era date. I still remember him being seated in the corner table with his long hockey player ( / COVID) hair. Fond memories. We made it a tradition to come back the first 3 years, wearing the exact same shirts / outfits we wore on that first date. But we broke from tradition eventually because Full On Craft is centered around sandwiches and while most of the sandwiches were decent to very good, the only side available is their home made potato chips and onion rings. Not into eating a lot of empty grease. They even offer potato chips and dip. Not sure why they can't come up with healthier options after all these years. Also, the ambience there is pretty lacking - the restaurant's dining area is just one fairly small room and would always feel too cramped. I'd go back for a quick sandwich if I had to. read more

Home of literally one of my favorite crab cakes in Maryland. I took my boyfriend here for his first crab cake ever. It's everything a crab cake should be--tender but not mushy LUMP crab meat in huge chunks that are seasoned but not overpowering. Its perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender on the inside. This hole in the wall gem also makes their own potato chips. The only difficult thing is the parking--do look at their website for the back parking so you don't have to deal with the nightmare lot. read more

Desiring a sandwich for lunch, and deciding to try a new place, we found this place on Yelp. Glad we did. Started with a crock of onion soup for sharing. The broth was very good and the crock contained a good amount of carmelized onion. The highlight of the dish is the large amount of really stringy cheese. The croutons, which they say are made in-house, were fine, but nothing special. I will say as a big plus that the soup was not overly salty. Lots of French onion soups at restaurants are overloaded with salt - this one is not and allows for enjoyment of the broth and onion. Honestly, the soup was so good and filling that I took only one or two bites from my sandwich. My partner got the salmon sandwich and I got the My Thai. Both look great and I took a good bite out of each and was well pleased. But I'm full from the soup, so I'll enjoy the sandwich later. Oh, I also ate a bunch of chips (which come with the sandwich). The homemade chips are crisp, cooked well and not overly salty. We'll be back to try more sandwiches from their interesting sandwich menu. The other soups look good too. I was going to comment of the price of the sandwich being a bit on the high side (My Thai is $15.50 and salmon is $19), but it's a big sandwich and there are two nice big chunks of salmon on the salmon sandwich and a healthy portion of beef on the My Thai. Came by here with my parents (my dad is already a fan) for the first time and was super impressed with the sandwich selection. The variety was excellent and each sandwich looked well curated. I was seriously torn between 4 options, but ultimately went with the crab cake. It was super fresh and falling apart (how I prefer it because that means there's less filler to bind it, meaning more crab). My parents loved their selections as well (le pilgrim and turkey/cran). This is a cozy industrial looking spot with an open kitchen feel. The woman serving us was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly and really made me enjoy my experience dining there. The onion rings and wings were so good. These onion rings are top their and the best I've had, they're crispy and breaded so perfectly - there was zero air between the onion and outer fried layer! The wings were delicious. We got naked wings and had all the sauces on the side. I tried the roast beef sandwich on sourdough, this was a recommendation from the server and it was delicious and there was plenty of meat. While we weee in the area in July, we arrived here on a Saturday afternoon. The place was packed. We were told it would be a 20 mins wait but we were seated in less than 10 mins. This place seems to have a great beer selection. My husband ordered a Flying Dog Numero Uno Mexican Lager which hit the spot with it being hot outside. I had a taste and I would have ordered one myself. I ordered a ratatouille on sourdough and my husband ordered a crab cake sandwich. They have house made chips which is quite popular.
