I myself applied for a job here in 2009 I took a three-hour test in Glendale California in early 2010 (92%score), I was called in for an interview in June of that year I was interviewed by the head HR person out of Omaha the Colton yard manager and the Colton yard director all whose names I can't recall as well as the manager for the department I would have been hired into. During mind hundreds of people applied for the position in the department I did about half a dozen were called in for interviews at their City of industry location, at that time I had a 13 year old felony conviction for a violent crime that didn't involve drugs or robbery it was an altercation between me and my two older brothers and I declared and reported that on the application, their website at that time said felonies would be considered on a case-by-case basis and I was still allowed to test and called in for one-on-one interview with the above named department heads. When I got to the interview I was a third one interviewed the director of the Colton yard immediately took a dislike to me he berated me and suggested I was not qualified to work for the company the HR Manager who is a few years younger than me at that time in his late 30s and a homosexual also did not think I was fit for the jobbut the manager of the yard and my department head voted for me unfortunately the directors vote what's the deciding factor in not being being recommended for being hired. fast forward 18 months I find out for my friend who works at the Colton yard that the director was retired early for theft and personal purchases on his company credit card, lol

It was amazing for adults and children alike. Every moment was special, there was never a second where you were not entertained. The cast were amazing, the hot chocolate and cookies were great, and the experience itself was everything we had hoped for and more! Every detail was so thoughtful, from the bells being engraved to the name on the cups of hot chocolate. The youngest in our party was turning 2, and the oldest is of the elder persuasion. I could not recommend this enough, we are all looking forward to hopefully coming back next year!

The decorations (outside and inside), the lights, the sounds, everything is done so well that you're instantly transported into the story. The performers were incredible. Real singers, real actors, fully committed to every moment. They kept the energy high and the kids (and adults!) completely captivated. Santa was absolutely amazing, warm, magical, and exactly who you want Santa to be. Parking was easy, the staff was organized and friendly, and everything flowed so smoothly. There wasn't a single stressful moment the entire time. If you're looking for something that genuinely captures the holiday spirit, this is it. A 10/10 experience that left us smiling the entire night. I would 100% go again.

I'd ridden Angel's Flight Railway many years ago, so it was really special getting to experience it again and make new memories. Such a fun and unique experience! Even though the ride is short, it's packed with history and offers amazing views. The railway is charming, well maintained, and makes for a great photo opportunity. The staff were friendly, the tickets were inexpensive at $1.50 each way, and it's the perfect little stop while exploring DTLA. Definitely worth checking out at least once--especially if you appreciate historic landmarks and classic LA attractions.

It connects Hill Street with California and features two vintage cars, Sinai and Olivet. It is open from 6:45am-10pm every day! This was so fun I rode both cars - up, down and up again! $1.50 each way... such a deal! The ride itself takes less than a minute and besides a little shimmy and shake when the cars pass each other, it is a straight shot. You can pay with your metro card, debit/credit card or cash. It's a fairly streamlined process & you pay at the top. The gates for the funicular are automatic at the top and bottom of the hill & only the top is staffed by an employee. If you want to save $1.50, you can always walk up the nearly 300 stairs to the left of the funicular & get your steps in! Peace.

Since her introduction, she has transported an Emperor, VIP guests and lucky Park guests alike around Disneyland. Being able to ride in the Lily Belle is a special treat that can happen if you are taking a specific Railroad associated Guided Tour, but know that if the temperatures are too high the day/time you are there they will not bring her out and you will NOT get to ride in it. Club 33 guests, VIP's and occasionally random lucky guests can get a chance to experience the Lilly Belle- if you are ever so inclined to receive an offer don't hesitate! The decor is rich and filled with history- no spoilers will be given here! Part of the fun of the experience is learning about these things while on your excursion! If you ever are presented with the opportunity to ride the Lilly Belle, do not hesitate! It's any Disney lovers experience of a lifetime!

To kick things off on a sweet note, you are provided with Orange Juice + Cinnamon Roll to start the tour. I've had 5+ tour guides, and I can confidently say you will be in good hands no matter who you are paired with. Tour guide Nick was absolutely phenomenal, friendly and so informative! Full steam ahead! Without spoiling the whole tour, you will walk across main street with some stops for train history making your way to Frontier Land, Tomorrow Land, and even head back stage near Small World! No photos or recording is allowed, but let's just say it was pretty cool and full of train facts. Lastly, you will head towards Toon Town to board the Lily Belle - the highlight of the tour. I've always known it was the presidential car Walt dedicated to his wife Lillian, but I didn't know the full history as Nick helped give insights into the history. Truly fascinating and magical to take a ride around Disneyland Railroad in the iconic Lilly Belle. Note: Lilly Belle will not run if 80°+ due to stifling heat. Handheld fans were provided and pretty hot at 77° during the tour today. Once you disembark from your journey, you will be provided some parting words and wisdom; but that's not all! You receive a Disneyland Railroad keepsake. A big tip to help maintain the keepsake is to stop by Small World Toys to get a bag to store it in. What a way to commemorate such a momentous occasion as this is not often open to the general public. As our wise tour guide said and applies to this review... We have come to the end of line, my friends!

It was a colorful mini train with a driver in the engine trailing two train cars with two rows each, just big enough to fit a dozen small children. The kids went nuts for this train. There were too many of them to ride at once, but they took turns for the first few rides until some of them started to get bored and returned to the rest of the party. The remaining die-hards, including my son, kept the train full for the remainder of its contracted time. I think it was there for one hour, and my son was on board for more than 45 minutes. The parking lot was small, and the train had a tight route: two loops followed by a dizzying finale of mini-train donuts. The driver moved fast, swerving and accelerating to delight the children. They were all buckled in, with the driver checking himself before each departure, but it did feel a little bit dicey. I am not shocked that this Yelp page is mostly 5-star reviews, with a smattering of 1-stars due to child endangerment. (There appears to have been an incident in September 2017.) My boy and his friends had a blast, though, and no one was harmed by this hour of Trains on the Move. If you have little thrill seekers and moderate risk tolerance, your kids are guaranteed to love the speedy baby train.

The staff who…read morecome out are on time, friendly, and wonderful with the kids -- everyone always has a great time. My issue isn't with the train or the event day at all, but with the communication and management behind the scenes. After submitting an online inquiry for an upcoming date, I was immediately overwhelmed by the number of follow-ups -- within just a couple of hours, I received at least 7-9 phone calls, six emails, and multiple text messages. I wasn't ignoring anyone; I was simply in a meeting and unable to respond right away. It got so excessive that I eventually texted back asking them to please stop contacting me so much, as I had received all their messages and would respond once I was available. When I did reach out the next day ready to move forward and asked for the payment link, I was met with complete silence. I called twice to follow up and never got a response. This same kind of unbalanced communication happened during my first experience as well -- overly pushy at first, then unresponsive once I was ready to book. Another ongoing issue is their payment policy. They insist on payment in full upfront, which I've told them before I'm not comfortable with. Like most vendors we use, I prefer to pay a deposit to reserve the date and then pay the remaining balance on the day of service. They were not flexible with this, which makes the process unnecessarily stressful. I really wanted to give them another try, assuming my first experience might have been a one-off situation, but unfortunately it seems to be a consistent pattern. Whoever is running their office or handling bookings is highly unprofessional, and it's disappointing because the on-site team and service itself deserve better representation.

The first trip to O'Side was great.  We bought tickets at the kiosk at the Carlsbad Coaster Station.  The train was on time, we hopped on and five minutes later we were in Oceanside.  The train was not crowded at all and we were able to sit just about anywhere.  Much cheaper and more convenient than a Lyft or Uber.  It was great. On the second trip to the Santa Fe Depot we found ourselves on a very packed train.  We found seating for the four of us on the second floor of the train car.  It was two seats on either side of a little table.  As we travelled down the coast, with each stop more people climbed aboard.  By the time we arrived at our destination it was standing room only. The ride itself was quite pleasant.  The views along the coast are great.  It affords one the opportunity to see some backcountry that can't been seen form the interstate, so that's pretty cool.  It was an hour from Carlsbad to downtown, but it was a quick hour.  There were quite a few stops along the way, but they were brief. After the game we made our way back to Santa Fe Depot.  For the ride home the Coaster was packed with tired, but happy campers celebrating a Padres victory.  Once again the cars were standing room only.  Becky found a seat, the last one, I stood next to her.  Our companions were in a different car altogether. The beauty of starting in Carlsbad is that you have the pick of seats because the train starts in Oceanside.  On the way back, however, it is a free-for-all, so you get what you get.  Even though I was standing it was still a quick hour return trip.  The seating on the cars was perfectly comfortable.  Certainly much better than the trolley.  The cars also have small bathrooms should the need arise.   We were visiting our friends who in live in Carlsbad and they use the Coaster quite a bit.  In fact our friend commutes to work on the Coaster on the days she has to go to the office. We found it to be a comfortable, fun and affordable way to travel. The NCTD could improve on signage.  We had the luxury of travelling with seasoned Coaster riders.  I could see how a novice could easily be overwhelmed and confused.  That would really be my only critique.
