It was busy! This was on a Saturday. Half the day they have younger crowds and the other half older crowds. They rent walkers for $5 for those who are learning to skate. Keep yours close someone will take it! They sell out quick so get there early! They have a small arcade area and a jungle gym playground area. Which has a height limit. There were a few birthday parties going on at the same time. From what I could gather they offered private rooms and the DJ would announce important information to each of those parties. The food was typical- like pizza that was pretty good! The shaved ice is my family's favorite! The music is up to date. Which is great because no one wants to skate to Conway Twitty. They sell skates and of course rent them as well. Everyone was friendly. They have lockers if needed. The bathrooms were clean. We arrived 15 minutes early to check in and was greeted with a lengthy line, by the time we got to the counter all the skating plastics helpers were gone, as there were only eight available. There were many teenagers/grown ups using them as MANY KIDS struggled to pull themselves around the wall of the rink. It was a rather warm December day, and while I know the city cannot control the weather or the fact that ice was melting the rink was nasty. They had fun music , kids were having a blast. They also have a play area in the back as well for kids who don't want to skate or taking a break from skating. I also got a large pizza and pitcher of juice for the kids and altogether that costs me $27 as well. Overall it wasn't bad pricing for the amount of kids we fed lol. This was the first time my daughter skated without the bar and she fell A LOT lol but I was so proud of her for getting up and keep going. We had a great night. Definitely will be back.

You can also bring your own. The place itself is old and in need of some renovations like updated carpeting. The skate floor itself is great and large. There are lockers to rent for a quarter, but we didn't feel we even needed them. There is a huge list of rules, but they weren't so strict with the cut off sleeves (it was midsummer) but they do not allow hats on the floor. Customer service could stand to be a little friendlier, but overall no one was rude. The locker attendants just don't respond. Could also get a Dj to really bring this place to life. They had music, but the entire song would end before the next one started which dropped the mood. For $5 though, I find it hard to complain and we will definitely be back.

I was really shocked for my first time, which is now my last. The music sounded like I was listening in my car, SMH. The skating ring should be a fun up lifting place to hang out and learn a new sport all while exercising.
