    Meatloaf

This was FANTASTIC! We have the TV dinner for 2 cards so we have been traveling around eating from random restaurants and this has been one of the top locations. I had the tenderloin dinner and WOW. Amazing. There is a reason they won the award for best tenderloin in the Wabash Valley. My boyfriend had the meatloaf. It was also veryyy good. Would recommend. The onion strings were also a hit plus it was all affordable. Has a small home town vibe and service was 10/10.

Country Fried Tenderloin Dinner with gravy and mashed potatoes was excellent and very tasty. Very thick breaded tenderloin and well cooked. Would highly recommend. Boyfriend had Garlic Burger and it was excellent hand made patty with fresh ground beef Great little restaurant in Dugger Indiana. Friendly staff too. Ambiance is like a diner. Met nice people here from South Bend area. Waitresses are nice.

Know that I am a city boy and this is in rural Indiana. Two thousand people live in Cloverdale. We stopped on our way to a sprint car race not far from here. There are just not many dining options. While I do not think usual clientele or others would be put off, there were some signs outside that warned you of their conservative political beliefs, warning you to not enter if this offends you. I did not. I went in and did not feel uncomfortable my the hospitality. Ambiance is basic. There is nothing fancy, but then again, it was just fine. I may seem prejudiced, but this comment is sincere and meant to be purely complimentary. My friend, from rural Indiana agreed. "This place brought to mind that it is where you go after the hay is stacked, the cows are in the barn, you are hungry and can get your fill of good food, cheap." The daily specials posted suggested I come back. Service bringing our order was slow, but our server apologized and explained a kitchen issue. No worries. We both ordered the quintessential Indiana sandwich - Pork Tenderloin. I got the grilled and he got the fried. Never in my life have I seen a meal called a "sandwich" that looked like this. The tenderloin was as big as a dinner plate. The bun looked a decoration more than the basis for a sandwich. The meat was easily twice or three times the diameter of the ornamental bun. Neither of us could even eat half. Deferring to my Hoosier native, he declared this one of the best tenderloins he ever had. Unfortunately, my grilled version was a bit dry. We have made tenderloins at home in TN. I cannot for the life of me figure out how they pounded that cut of meat into the shape they served.

Located off the banks of…read morethe Wabash River and nestled into the epicenter of what is the first "Main Street" in Indiana... ... This quaint Diner offers up the general fare you would expect from a divey-diner experience, but elevated. From the exquisite breakfasts, to beef manhattan lunches. You may also, want to choose from a wide array of delectable homemade pies, ahhh... The owners and staff are beautiful people that pour their souls into the food, and are there daily. Get there at a decent time during their posted hours though... If not, you'll miss out on the food you want, because everything is made to order, and so fresh, they don't waste any "thyme" with leftovers. A small secret... if you have a sweet tooth... Tell Chris, the owner, that your "Food tasted as good as Tom Brady's loving eyes look" & you'll be rewarded with a free piece of Pie!!! Gosh, oh golly, I love this place!

The main reason I want to review this place is because it was SO cheap. I mean, you could eat here three times a week for the price of going to any other restaurant once per week. Most of the breakfast dishes were like...$5 or under. Serious deals for this kind of food, not something you see these days. I appreciated this diner for being one of few restaurants that just serves bare bones, basic food for cheap.
