I wanted everyone to have a chance to see what was on the inside of this beautiful Montecristo burger
    Keith R.

Been a bit, still fantastic! This eatery is always surprising you with a creative delicious seasonal menu. The speedy yet not rushed staff attend to your every need and question. If you have a question about what food might pair well with what beer, they are there for you with solid recommendations. Clearly, they have been trained through this process and educated as food and beverage choices. We were there with another couple and ultimately ordered three different appetizers. We were received fried steaks, cheese, curds, and fried green tomatoes topped with homemade pimento cheese and crab meat. Every one of these was absolutely delicious, enjoyed in the back of the business where the bar is located and the ambience is just bright enough to allow you to enjoy everything. For dinner I received the recommendation of the burger of the week, the Monte Cristo. Imaginary burger with French toast as a bun, a perfectly cooked burger, an amazing piece of ham, some wonderful Swiss cheese and topped with a dusting of powdered sugar and drizzled and homemade maple syrup. It came with sides of a raspberry compote and sour cream. It might not sound delicious, but I have to tell you every bite was a taste treat many many layers of deliciousness. All in all I would have to give this restaurant an extra extraordinary rating and tell you to give it a try if you haven't you will not be disappointed.

    Chicken pot pie

Stopped in at the union town brewing Company in Ashland this evening. The atmosphere is very nice, they have light music on and a very relaxed atmosphere. For dinner I had the chicken pot pie. I've had a lot of chicken pot pie in my lifetime. This one by far takes it to the next level. The pot pie has a very light Flay crust. The crust is a pastry crust that just sets it apart from anything I've ever had. The chicken in the pot pie was very tender and moist. The potatoes were cooked to perfection, and the peas and carrots were very delicious also, it was also served with a very nice sauce or creamy base. Again, this is the best chicken pot pie I have ever had! On a sidenote, this is a seasonal item. So you may have to check to see if it's being served.

Had to run up to Ashland and needed a quick refresher. Found a great craft brewery. Great atmosphere and service. Wide variety of beers which surprised me. I got the 1850 stout and loved it. May need to take a 4 pack home.

A giant pretzel with cheese inside? Yes please!

Uniontown Brewing is located inside a former furniture store within a strip of quant shops in Ashland. The brewery itself is fairly good-sized. The main area has 2 large rooms. One of which houses the bar. There is another small room to the right of the main entrance that I was told used to be utilized as an event space and is likely transitioning into a second bar area. When I visited there were 18 taps advertised. Unfortunately a third of the taps were down. Thankfully the functioning taps still had some tasty offerings. Our server was very friendly and was happy to bring out samples of the different beers to try. I enjoyed both of the hazy ipas I ended up ordering. For dinner I ordered a seasonal salad of kale and quinoa. I had mixed feelings about the salad. The kale was delicious, but the quinoa was pretty flavorless. I probably wouldn't order it again. I did get to sample a few other dishes my friends were eating and they were all very good. I have never been to the downtown Ashland area before, but I can definitely see returning!

Flight of the dark ones: couple stouts, a brown, and a couple porters

Great atmosphere leftover from Gilbert Furniture. Love the throwback. Always a plus when we can get a his and hers flight of samples. We all really enjoyed the cheese-stuffed pretzel. And the boys were big fans of the BBQ pulled pork mac n cheese. Have to admit I did not live my portobello mushroom; doused in too much balsamic. The slaw was great, though.

We always bring people here from out of town because it's the perfect local spot. We love eating in our taking it out to home or the community pool. We love the pretzel, spicy cheese curds, the Buffalo chicken wrap, and the South Street chicken sandwich. The drinks are also super good for cocktail people too even though they're known for beers.

    Portobello and Cole Slaw

Server Andrew was awesome! The kinda guy who pulls up a chair and makes eye contact! The portobello was amazing! Fresh mozzarella and a glaze that is both zesty and sweet. Coupled with coleslaw which was homemade with bits of brussel sprouts. A hardy portion too. I mixed it with the leftover glaze from the mushroom. Perfecto! The atmosphere was clean with a rustic charm. The prices are a steal. I got all for under $10!

Checked out Uniontown Brewing today for a late lunch. It took a couple of minutes for someone to go to the host stand to seat us in the people in front of us. This is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The staff person waiting on us was helpful, fun and upbeat. Loved her enthusiasm. I couldn't decide which beer I wanted of the 3 I had it narrowed down to. She offered me a sample of my choices. I went with the amber, which I recommend! Food was delicious and freshly prepared. We ordered a few different items and shared among the three of us. Here's what we ordered, drunken fish sliders, chicken tenders and pastrami sandwich. Also started the meal with a salad and meatballs that were also shared. Loved the pastrami! My favorite of the menu items we shared. Everything else was really good too! Appreciated how fresh the food was. This is a fun place and they are doing an excellent job of following the safety guidelines. I'll definitely be back here soon.

Beer flight. Upcharged for selections that are 10%+ abv but reasonable.

Very polite staff, great space with different types of seating. Drinks were wonderful. Service was fast but paced correctly.enu options were fantastic. Main menu, seasonal menu, and daily special menus were available. I will go here again and again.

They provide customized menus as a special touch. As there are three selections on four on the courses, the dishes do not appear to be as customized for those with dietary issues. Jamie was our primary server providing a friendly and professional service. For my order, Three of us started with the Crostini while my wife had the Pave. I really liked the flavors of the Crostini, scrumptious! I had a bite of my wife's Pave and thought the texture and tastes superb! Preparing for the second and further courses was my a put off! We were asked to keep our utensils for the future courses! Nothing like dirty silverware sitting on the table dirtying up the area! At this price point, used silverware should be taken and replaced with new! That is the reason for my 4 of 5 stars. We experienced the same during our first visit two years ago and had hope it was resolved after mentioning to staff. That said, it was the only put off of our experience. For the second course my sister and I decided on the Scallop Arancini while my wife and mom went for the Zuppa Toscano. Again, the Scallop Arancini was amazing and scrumptious! The flavors were terrific! I tried a few spoonfuls of the Zuppa Toscano and thought it missing seasoning. The third found 3 of us ordering the Salmon Oscar while my wife ordered the Grilled Cheese. The salmon was rare, which I particularly like but the crab was cold. My preference would have been warm war with a bit of the béarnaise on top. My wife's Grilled Cheese was very tasty with the preserves but looked lonely sitting on the plate. For the last course three of us decided on the Pumpkin Crepe and my wife the Apple Spice Cake. I thought the Pumpkin Crepe to be a lovey presentation and very tasty and my wife enjoyed the spice cake. All in all a lovely experience overall! Thank you!

The prohibition dinner is a 9 course meal served in an underground cavern that was used for aging beer, and likely more shady activities during Prohibition. The cavern has been updated into a dining room and bar. It does run a little chilly, so be sure to dress appropriately. It is also damp and you have to take an elevator down. Factor these into your decision. Let me also say, this is not a cheap activity, and not for picky eaters. They are very pleasant and accommodating of dietary restrictions, but the was a wide variety of flavors and textures that you need to be willing to try. You pay in advance for this activity . We were met in the little reception area by the servers, and taken down to the cave for a tour and to get settled. We did not purchase the wine pairing, but were offered wine by the glass as an add on, and chose from the pairing list, as it was easy and available. my friend and I both enjoyed a glass of Rose. Once we were seated and settled, we saw 2 other parties come in and were seated, back to front, in the cavern. there are 3 seatings, and they stagger your arrival. First up was the bread service, including a butter candle that melts down a lava rock onto your bread. Very fun, and the bread was wonderful. The fry bread was my favorite. I think the menu is seasonal, so I won't share too many details as it will likely be different if you go .The next course was a savory flan in an eggshell, which was really good, and had a bunch of crispy accompaniments. We also had a smoked salmon course, and a veggie fritter that I would order as an entree, it was so good! The main was duck, and I love duck. Finally, we had a really fun dessert that included white chocolate mousse, apple cotton candy, apple cake, and a streusel bit. I loved it. The portions are on the smaller size, but don't worry, we were very full at the end! The servers were so attentive and all very well versed in the menu. they do a great job pacing service per party and making you feel welcome. This is, to me, a luxury activity, and my party really considered it worth our money, and really enjoyed our experience.

They were crispy and seasoned. Can't complain. The flatbread was small but the flavor was there. I have to say the service wasn't good. We ordered apps. And she didn't ask if we were ever ready to order. I had to wave her down. The chicken was wrong but again still good. She didn't acknowledge it or us really. I had to literally get her attention if we wanted something. Maybe she could tell we were from out of town, but she could've made a lot more off of us if she touched base with us a couple of times. For instance. We ordered a mock tail for my daughter. She finished the drink before her food came. We wanted to order a sprite and she didn't come back until she was completely done eating. Kids don't eat very fast. I'll probably try somewhere else for food and maybe stop for a 6er on the way out of town if I come back.
