We stopped in town on a whim. I love local breweries and try to stop and get something local whenever I travel. This is a typical pub style place solid bar scene with tvs and a lot of space. We sat down for some beers and food. We ordered veggie egg rolls for an appetizer which were pretty good. The blackened chicken Alfredo was pretty good as well. Not overly cheesy like some store bought ones. Boneless chicken was normal. The fries were different. Think wedges but thin. They were crispy and seasoned. Can't complain. The flatbread was small but the flavor was there. I have to say the service wasn't good. We ordered apps. And she didn't ask if we were ever ready to order. I had to wave her down. The chicken was wrong but again still good. She didn't acknowledge it or us really. I had to literally get her attention if we wanted something. Maybe she could tell we were from out of town, but she could've made a lot more off of us if she touched base with us a couple of times. For instance. We ordered a mock tail for my daughter. She finished the drink before her food came. We wanted to order a sprite and she didn't come back until she was completely done eating. Kids don't eat very fast. A group of about 9 of us went the other day. The food was delicious and the servers were nice. However, the wait for the food was extremely long: 45+ minutes. That seems a little too long, especially since the Mac and Cheese I ordered was not fresh when it came out. Also, the portion sizes are a lot smaller than expected on the "Comfort Foods" section. Add clueless server who never brought us our appetizer before our dinner plus very mediocre food quality and you get one star. This was our first food experience for our Amish Country weekend and it ended up being the highlight for me. The ambiance was chill with low lighting and soft music. There were hardwood floors and solid booths with cowhide upholstery. The hostesses greeted us immediately and our waiter came to our table soon after. Dutch is a big guy and he bent down to our 7y/o's level to talk with her. Really personable and helpful waiter. My wife and I shared fresh potstickers, which were so tasty! We both enjoyed flights of five beers each, brewed in-house and they were all impressive impressive. I had the Beer Cheese Burger with sweet potato fries (pictured). What a great brewery! 11 of us walked in and were seated right away. They let us combine tables without a fuss. Our sever was amazing, and didn't care we all wanted separate checks. The food here is better than your average bar/brewery. The inside of the brewery is decorated really cool, modern but they kept a lot of the original old building, so it has a nice vibe. We had the cauliflower appetizer, pretzel appetizer with cheese, chicken Philly and a flat bread. Everything was really good. The cheese that came with the pretzels stood out because it was so delicious and fresh. My fiancé said the chicken Philly was the best he's ever had. The only negative was the flatbread could have been cooked a little longer, it was a bit doughy. They give you a lot of food at decent prices. Our server was nice and pleasant. No real complaints here, this is a nice place to stop for a casual meal, and drinks. I would eat here again next time in Amish Country. read more

My husband and I stopped in to have lunch this past Thursday. We parked in the lot behind the restaurant. Millersburg Brewing Co has a hip, chill vibe. We loved the decor. The hostess greeted us right away and took us to a high top. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. My husband was on the clock so he couldn't try the brews, and I am not a beer drinker. His lunch special, the Black and Bleu burger was cooked right and delicious. I had the sampler. I wasn't a huge fan of the pretzel, but it's not a favorite dish of mine, but the boneless wings with the Bang bang sauce were so good. The Asian potstickers basted in Thai chili sauce were amazing. The breaded cauliflower was decent, I think they were a little soggy. They were still good. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. I definitely will be back when we head back to Amish country. It's the kind of place I would hang at all the time if I lived close to Millersburg. It's definitely worth a drive, too. read more

Great beer, crappy service. We went in on a Saturday night around 9. It wasn't busy at all. The bar is actually really small and there weren't any seats open. I told the server we only wanted drinks so she sat us in a "drinks only zone" located in another room that did not have a bar. She failed to mention that we would not have a server. I had to walk up to the bar and order flights and take them back to the table one by one and then go BACK to the bar to fetch my own water. All while multiple workers are either walking around doing nothing or standing around chit chatting with each other. No wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night! read more

We were on our way to Wooster, OH to check into our hotel. My wife said they have a brewery and it looks like they have some good drinks. I said let's go, and turned around and we stopped. What a good stop. They had a great New England IPA, Kolsch, Pumpkin and equivalent to the Mad Elf, a christmas beer. We had a snack and tried some beer, purchased some beer to go. My husband who calls himself a beer connoisseur, said if they had a decent wheat beer he would give them a five out of five so blown away with what he tried a solid four. We decided to get a snack. Millersburg Brewing is the best place in town for a beer. It's actually one of the only places. This is about the only spot that can be considered "hip." Along with beer is some food. There's some healthy choices on the food menu. I had the Peanut Butter Porter. It's about $5 for a pint. This has a pretty strong peanut butter taste. It was my personal favorite. The other particularly popular beer here is the kolsch tangerine. It also has some food. There's more than just the usual bar stuff like wings. I had the hummus appetizer. It's about $7 for a large amount. This is topped with salsa. It's served with pita and tortilla chips. The mess is actually pretty good and something nice to snack on while watching a game. I would come here again. It's about the only thing interesting around here. This is by far the best place for a drink and they have some good food too. read more

On a recent trip to Holmes County we were looking for a place to eat after 6pm, as much of the town shuts down after 5pm and glad we discovered Millersburg Brewing. The brewery is located downtown across from Millersburg Courthouse we were welcomed and seated right away. When I travel I enjoy trying local craft beer and we had quite the selection 19 beers on tap, so I went with a flight as well as my friend. I enjoyed Jolene Jolie red ale, Cursed Relic sour, French Ridge IPA and Tangilicious. I enjoyed French Ridge IPA the best it was refreshing on a warm summer night with passionfruit. My friend had a flight too & the best beer was Pope's Imperial Pumpkin Ale nice spice with not being too overbearing I can see why it's a medal winner for the brewery. Then to the food the Millersburg turkey was delicious and the homemade fries were seasoned just right. The create your own burger was good, the homemade cole slaw was good too and the rueben rye bread was just the right touch & note the side salad was huge. We were staying in Berlin on a long weekend for our anniversary. My husband found this place online and we love to try new breweries so we stopped in before dinner. It is the cutest little place. The decor is awesome. It's in a great location. The selection of beer was really good. My husband loves beer. He got a flight and really liked everything he got. We even bought a glass and even came back the next night to get a six pack of one of the beers he really liked to take home. Anytime we are in town we will most definitely stop back in. I stopped here on a recent trip to Amish country (this was only 1 of 2 bars we saw the whole day). This is quite a cool looking place inside and pretty spacious. The beer is good and $1 per 3oz taster. My boyfriend ordered a pint and it was only $3.25 (we figured it was HH even though nothing stated that they had HH). I also bought a growlette that costed $10 total with the beer. The only downfall is that they only serve food Friday-Sunday during the winter months. they happily let you bring in food from outside places the days that their kitchen is closed. read more

Really enjoyed our trip here during our day in Amish Country. The place is really well decorated and a nice relaxed environment. We went at 12 on a Saturday and had no problem finding an open table. You order from the bar (no waitress service) but the bartender was very nice and friendly. I had the peanut butter porter and my husband had their chocolate stout. We both loved our beers. Only thing that would have made it better is if they sold it in six packs as it was so good!!! We also snacked on their beer cheese pretzels which I would highly recommend. The half order was three big sticks, plenty to hold us over for more adventures during our day. It's the only brewery in Amish Country I know if and we really had a good time.
