I brought my daughter to this location to get her nails done before a wedding because it was by the gym we go to . I had to stop the session after a few minutes and ask if the lady had some kind of a problem with my daughter? Did my daughter do something wrong because she was being incredibly rude to her? She said no, but continued to be snide and talk down to her, being really rough so I stopped her and let her know we would not be staying for her to treat her that way and that I would pay for what had been done. I took my daughter down the street to Super Nails where I knew they'd fix her nails right and be super kind in the process. There is zero reason you would talk so ugly to a kid! New ownership thought I'd give it a try. Everyone who worked there was young. My tech was nice enough unfortunately not as experienced as I liked for my SNS. The side of my nails were not sanded down and were bumpy. The clear coat was peeling the next day. Not happy and there are other options to choose from. Not going back. ***they're under new management/new staff** i asked for a nude-pink base color for my french tips. i got clear. i asked for french tips and got these barely there dipped tips. when i asked for the black tips to be longer, so you could see less of the contrast where my actual nail began, and they said okay. then proceeded to keep doing each nail the same way. the price was also pretty ridiculous for this to be a fill-in. multiple staff members were looking over the shoulder of the person doing my nails as if something was wrong, but my complaint was still ignored. i think my nails look terrible. my friend also got her nails done next to me and the person doing hers looked as if today was her first day. i will not be going back ever. read more

Well... I don't know how I feel about this place. Are they sanitary? Yes! A bit on the higher end of pricing compared to other salons. But the pedicure I get was not worth the $$ I paid for. I used to frequent this shop until I decided to take a break from nails. Simon was amazing (and still is), especially being self taught. I recently visited another shop looking last minute and every aspect of my nails were terrible. I came back to unique, disappointed in the new tech I visited. Mike did a superb job with my nails and saved the day. His acrylic looks very natural and I prefer somewhat thin, but durable nails and he delivered on this. I will never cheat on Unique Nail Spa again. Tips: appointments aren't required but save yourself the hassle of waiting and make an appointment. The service just keeps on declining I've been a customer of theirs for years mainly bc the location. I go in for a pedicure get the basic package and gel. The total cost of this is $40 imo is overpriced for what that package includes. I did not even receive a 5 minute massage on my feet not even 2 minutes. I honestly felt compelled to still tip the lady as I didn't wanna be heartless but for $45 I should've at least had a five minute massage on each foot. When I would go get my nails and feet done the bill would be at least $120 and I never would receive a good pedicure massage you don't even get five minutes unless you specifically get one of their packages that cost at least $60. This business needs to be aware that you can go get a full body massage for that cost for an hour! You would think a local family owned business would be more inclined to treat their customers with more care during a very present economic recession. Their work has left me with chipped nails, uneven and tilted shaping (despite requesting to have them touched up and reshaped before leaving the salon), polish left around the nail bed, popped off/chipped SNS, jagged tips that needed more buffing, and horrible customer service. This is a wonderful nail salon. I am recovering from a broken ankle and the lady was very gentle with my pedicure. She went above and beyond my expectations. She took her time with painting my toes and even redid two of them because they didn't look right. I would highly recommend if you are around town and need a pick me up.
