I went here every month for about 5 or so months. I started with the same stylist. Then one month…read morethe front desk called with a bunch of confusion and wanting me to move my appointment something about the stylist and I said no that's the only day I can come in. So I saw a different stylist. Consistently each month my hair color was correct and it was the same and I came from another salon with my formula so it was all written down. The second stylist did a good job and did the correct root color she also did highlights so it was an expensive visit so I become more blonde with the highlights. I schedule with the original stylist for the following color appointment and then two days ahead of time the front desk called with the same type of confusion about the appointments and I said You know what just change to the second stylist I've used I'll stick with her from now on because my life and my schedule is not congruent to these monthly confusions and changes being made to my appointments from this one stylist. So yesterday I went for my routine hair color with the second stylist who had done my root color the month before and it was the right color no problem because they have the formula in their computer. However the root color I ended up with was so dark so ashy, so gray looking so gross it looks like mud on my hair and of course it's ruined and the highlights I paid for last month as well are RUINED. I asked the second stylist if anyone can go into the computer and tweak someone's formula and she said yes and I said well since you did my color last month and it was perfect this month you did the same formula out of the computer( you say )and it's totally wrong not even in the ballpark then obviously someone has sabotaged it or you made a mistake. She assured me she didn't make a mistake. She assured me she followed what the computer said. Leaving me to assess that my hair was sabotaged yesterday. I SPOKE TO THE ORIGINAL STYLIST YESTERDAY WHO KEPT F****** UP MY SCHEDULE AND WHO I SWITCHED FROM AND SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT BUT SHE KEPT STARING AT MY COLOR ON MY HAIR WITH A SMIRK ON HER FACE AND THAT'S WHEN I WENT INTO THE BATHROOM INTO THE LIGHT IN THE BATHROOM LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AND I KNEW THE COLOR WAS WRONG AND WAY TOO DARK. I BELIEVE SHE SABOTAGED IT IN THE COMPUTER I HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT It's so embarrassing and so gross I can't even go out in public without a hat on today. I've reached out multiple times through the front desk to leave a message for the owner to contact me before I started leaving reviews without any contact in return so I'm not sure that the message is getting relayed I'm turning now to social media and to reviews to try to have this result before I seek legal restitution. I'm out about $600 at this point and my hair is f***** up so bad I can't even go in public without a hat and William edge the owner will not contact me back. It's the most bizarre situation. I don't understand how these things are ALLOWED at professional hair salons without accountability.

I completed a nearby transaction and obtained some cash. Then i walked over to a business I've been wanting to visit for years (Blitzkreig Games *sp)... but they were closed. I was shielded from the wind and enjoying the warmth of the sun... I noticed the chairs outside of the salon but I also noticed they were "props". (They want to give the illusion they are "inviting" but i found them to be anything but!) I had a low battery and no wifi, so i called a friend who gave me Rio's phone number. I'm a 56 year old woman who hasn't dyed my hair since covid... so when i saw a customer come out side to her car to get something, i thought hmmm, I've got a head full of gray hairs, maybe I should dye my hair like my friends have recently (vibrant colors). I never once thought i would be in their way of conducting business... i called Rio to get me and gave the address of the Blitz Games place. They told me they were booked solid and to call back... I did. When i called back several minutes later, the police came and he was really nice and i was more than glad to tell him anything he wanted to know. (I was stunned too... I'm already insecure as hell emotionally due to trauma. Would it have been too much trouble to get an employee to ask me to sit elsewhere or to ask if i needed anything? I would have easily gone back to the other side of the building where i had conducted business already...) Anyway, long story short, use my negative experience to learn about the type of people who work there. Most hair salons have very positive, happy people there who are good with people. I saw two young teen girls throw out some drinks in the trash. I wasn't close to them. Maybe 20 feet or so, but it only takes a little friendliness to just look at someone and say, "hi, how are you?! We're just wondering if you are going to come inside to the salon since our windows say "walkins welcome" or if you need help?" Anything along that line, would have been very accommodating. I wouldn't have cared if it was rude. It could have been, "This area is reserved for the hair salon since Blitz is closed till 2pm..." I get it. Whatever. I just think it was cold to call the cops on me for waiting on a Rio. I didn't think I was scaring away your customers... and next time I'm there, I'll be sure to avoid your area.. because I'll be doing business with Blitz in the near future.

One of the problems I have had is the barber changing my hair part. I told her that and we worked on getting my part correct. Lilly cut my hair extremely well and with precision. I had shaved my beard down to a goatee, but I could tell I did not get it straight and balanced. Lilly took a good amount of time to get it right too. I read the other bad reviews and they seem like whiny people compared to my experience. Why TF would one think a "Gentleman's Barber" is the correct answer for kids. From now on, this is my go-to barber shop and I will be telling others to go there as well and have Lilly cut your hair.

I called to schedule an appointment and the employee was very helpful and explained the services. Once I arrived for my appointment, the business was easy to find and it was inside the building shared by other businesses. The atmosphere was good and gave off a Speak Easy vibe. They offered drinks for customers and once I received my haircut I was pampered and satisfied with the services. Once finished the price was reasonable and the overall experience was good.
