I don't know what to say about a business who calls the police on me while i was sitting on the curb waiting for my Rio to show up... I wasn't even directly in front of their shop. I completed a nearby transaction and obtained some cash. Then i walked over to a business I've been wanting to visit for years (Blitzkreig Games *sp)... but they were closed. I was shielded from the wind and enjoying the warmth of the sun... I noticed the chairs outside of the salon but I also noticed they were "props". (They want to give the illusion they are "inviting" but i found them to be anything but!) I had a low battery and no wifi, so i called a friend who gave me Rio's phone number. I'm a 56 year old woman who hasn't dyed my hair since covid... so when i saw a customer come out side to her car to get something, i thought hmmm, I've got a head full of gray hairs, maybe I should dye my hair like my friends have recently (vibrant colors). I never once thought i would be in their way of conducting business... i called Rio to get me and gave the address of the Blitz Games place. They told me they were booked solid and to call back... I did. When i called back several minutes later, the police came and he was really nice and i was more than glad to tell him anything he wanted to know. (I was stunned too... I'm already insecure as hell emotionally due to trauma. Would it have been too much trouble to get an employee to ask me to sit elsewhere or to ask if i needed anything? I would have easily gone back to the other side of the building where i had conducted business already...) Anyway, long story short, use my negative experience to learn about the type of people who work there. Most hair salons have very positive, happy people there who are good with people. I saw two young teen girls throw out some drinks in the trash. I wasn't close to them. Maybe 20 feet or so, but it only takes a little friendliness to just look at someone and say, "hi, how are you?! We're just wondering if you are going to come inside to the salon since our windows say "walkins welcome" or if you need help?" Anything along that line, would have been very accommodating. I wouldn't have cared if it was rude. It could have been, "This area is reserved for the hair salon since Blitz is closed till 2pm..." I get it. Whatever. I just think it was cold to call the cops on me for waiting on a Rio. I didn't think I was scaring away your customers... and next time I'm there, I'll be sure to avoid your area.. because I'll be doing business with Blitz in the near future. read more

I have been going to Taylor and she knows what I want and knows that I want a change but won't do it all at once because she knows I love my long hair. So she does a little different every time I go in and does an amazing job. I have seen from the other stylist there the colors and cuts are spot on. They all are skilled in what they do. This rating is really for Chelle since I don't know how the salon in entirety is but she's incredible! Been going to her for a couple years now for deva cuts on my curly hair. It's awesome, she slays, it's growing long but still healthy and always cute, she kills it. The cuts last. I'm extremely picky and weird about my hair and feel v #blessed to have met Chelle and will follow her wherever she goes. If you have textured hair, I cannot recommend her enough. Do yourself right and get you a stylist that gets it. XoXo read more

1 star is too much. Kay is short for "KATASTROPHE". Destroyed my hair. Came in for a color refresh and a trim of what was done previously by a superior stylist and color master at Ultraviolet. Kay witnessed in person the service done prior, i showed her photos to further inform her. WARNING sign it was going in the ditch, as she is removing foils she says "this will look much better than what you had" WARNING sign as she starts to dry it she says "this is much better than the platinum you had before." In less than 2 hours she undid hours and hours of and $$$ of work. She left me with greige hair, she overtoned it and underlifted it. I didn't see the full disaster until I got outside in the sunlight. She didn't cut it for crying out loud just follow the lines to trim it - a first semester beauty school student could do that. So face frame is gone, color is shit, hair is fried and I'm out a lot of money to correct it and had to seek professional advice on how to prepare my hair to get it to the point it can be restored to the original color purchasing many premium products to do so. Owners Jordan and Alex didn't respond to email or voice messages. I asked for a refund as I am a repeat customer they didn't respond. Makes you wonder is Kay on commission and makes them a lot of money in her path of destruction? Is she lazy? Is she inept? Whatever the case, don't risk your hair with this stylist. read more
