Wendy always does a Five Star job! Gel manicure lasts much longer than anywhere else, and I've been to many places. The quality of service here is superior! I work close by, but I don't live in town. I always try to go to Unique exclusively, and when I sometimes get a weekend manicure elsewhere, I regret it every time! Must have an appointment. read more

Have been here a few times because it is five minutes away from my house. They always do a great/quick job. Note they only except cash, but if you forgot go to the liquor store a few doors down they have an arm. The people there are very sweet and make the experience enjoyable. Today I went in and they told me to come back in an hour, I did and they had me start my mani and pedi immediately. It was a standard pedi and mani. Pedi didn't have the longest massage, but there were a few people waiting so I understand. After I was done my toes dried 10 minutes under the dryers. Then they dipped my feet in wax!! So cool! After peeling the wax off for me my feet were so incredibly smooth. A must for a first pedicure of the spring !! I will be back for sure!! read more

Love this place. I've been getting waxed there for almost 10 years. My sister's all get their nails done there as well. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes it gets way too busy and you have to wait even if you have an appointment. Ask for Wendy, you'll never go to another person to wax you after she gets her hands on you. read more

This nail salon does an incredible job. The wax is a plus and is one of the reasons I go there. They are alittle on the pricy side, but worth every extra dollar. This is the only nail place I have been to that doesn't use fans to dry your nails. They use strong UV lights and it works great! They are busy, so make an appointment. same experience in the couple other times I have been there since. They are now CASH ONLY... Will not take credit cards any longer :( Very disappointing... I did at one point get a nice foot massage when the lady saw how pregnant I was. Super disappointed I did not get the same treatment last time. But I will be back! read more

We are in from SoCal for a wedding and in serious need of nail care. We tried calling to see if they were busy but no answer. Yelp said no appointment needed. We walked over to the salon were there was a man behind the counter and a woman with her nails under the dryer. Not another soul in sight. We asked if we could both get mani pedis and man said no mani for the man. Your appointment is for pedi only. We states we didn't have an appointment because nobody answered the phone then asked if he could squeeze us in. "No" simple as that just No. Not "can I make you an appointment?" On Friday, December 23, 2016, my sister took me here. She had been raving about their paraffin wax for your feet. It was my first time out since having a baby, and yes I had my infant with us. (Who slept in my or my sisters arms the entire time.) My sister went in at 11am asking for two gel mani/spa pedicures, the gentlemen asked us to return at 12. We did, we were sitting down my sister soaking her feet, I was figuring out my matching gel polish when a mother/daughter came in and the gentleman realized he double booked us. I'm not sure how this became our fault but that was how we were treated. They were extremely apologetic to the mother/daughter and even rebooked them for the following day. By the way, we sat silent watching this go down. We would have left and came back no issue, but it was extremely awkward. My sister got both of her full mani/pedis. However, I completely got shafted. The gentleman took the gel nails selections saying they now don't have time for color on my nails. I was okay with it, as still expecting some service, now that the mother/daughter had rescheduled and we were the only ones in the shop. But no, he filed my nails and had me go sit in the pedicure seat. Only after my sister complained did he even consider putting clear on my nails, which he smudged and didn't fix. Next my pedicure, the woman was so rude to me it was so uncalled for. She cut my toenails and my big toe. I acknowledged the pain in my big toe numerous times and she ignored me. She painted my toes and with my sleeping baby on my lap (no one else in the salon) was pissed that I simply asked to sit there and wait for my sister. Yes my two half assed services were faster than my sisters one pedicure because I basically got my nails cut and paint applied. No massages, no cuticle and/or foot scrubs. I could've done this myself. The woman who did my pedicure kept pointing at me and yelling at her husband in her language. It was very insulting. When my sister was ready to get the paraffin on her feet, she asked if I was getting it too? The woman who did my feet started sighing and walked over to me, I refused the service. My toe was still throbbing and quite frankly I was so disgusted and disappointed I just didn't want to be there anymore. The mistake that they made they took out on me. It was ridiculous. A week later I have an infection on my toe and this is the only reason I decided to post my awful experiences. I'm not one to complain but this by far was inexcusable. We watched as people came in and they booked appointments with them same day, no problem. But we sat there silently, it was awkward, my sister went back in after I left to complain because they charged me full price so I refused to tip them and they argued with her. Again, I don't complain, I simply had no words. They argued that they took us after we were double booked and they rescheduled their regulars. Again not our problem. They argued that they did my services and didn't get tipped for them. We not once complained while we were there, but continually thanked them and this was how we were treated. read more
