Whoa! Definitely glad we decided to swing/stop by this place on the way home from San Diego. Csaba was so friendly and you can tell he enjoys/takes pride of his business. Ambiance is warm and welcoming. Csaba mentioned he rotates his gelato flavors on a regular basis. The chimney cake was warm and flavor hit the spot. The chocolate gelato was rich. The cantaloupe and cucumber gelato was refreshing and not overwhelming sweet. Definitely would recommend supporting Csaba's local business. Don't want to miss this place when in the area.

I sampled a few flavors, including mint chocolate chip, peanut butter, and cucumber. The cucumber was definitely interesting and not something I've seen before, but it wasn't for me. The mint chocolate chip tasted different from the traditional version and I didn't notice any chocolate chips, so I ended up ordering a scoop of the peanut butter in a cup, which tasted just like peanut butter. The gelato wasn't as creamy as I personally prefer, but it was still pretty good overall. Service was okay.

What. A. Gem. NON gmo, no funky colors, organic caramelized sugar pastry cones. It's so hard to find real food and this place delivers. The gelato was so dense and creamy. Had the pear with salted caramel and I would eat it 104838294838838 more times.

Hibiscus, banana, sea salt caramel, lemon, chocolate and we also had a oreo chimney cake, all delicious!

Amazing Gelato and service! The flavors are rich and amazing. The owner is friendly, welcoming, and kind. The flavors change regularly, today some of my favorites were walnut, honey lavender, lemon, mango, sea salt caramel, and chocolate. The honey lavender won my heart! It's a quaint shop, cozy home feeling, and owner is very nice.

Wow! I am not an ice cream person but I am officially a gelato one! I never realized how much bold flavor gelato has but it is not overwhelming sweet. Also it is very velvety smooth.The cinnamon sugar cone was perfect. This little hidden gem was a great find. The owner is funny and great hospitality. He was very knowledgeable and took pride in his homemade gelato. He explained how he uses fresh and top quality ingredients and you can definitely taste it for sure! 10/10 recommend! definitely coming back to try more flavors.

Hidden among many businesses is this "unique" pastry place. There is a wide variety of gelato flavors all with the perfect texture. Their unique chimney cone, is what makes it special. The owner has a great sense of humor and is super friendly. I love the family feel of this shop. It's small, but very homey and pleasant. I will no doubt, return here.

Amazzzzzzzing gelato!! We tried almost all of the flavors. The lady at the counter was super nice and told us about the gelato and the chimney cones, she was so nice. The food was fabulous!! Each of us got a different flavor, and loved them all. The flavors change every other day, so, come by and try them. I didn't get a chance to try to try the coffee or hot cocoa, but I'm pretty confident they are good too. The others that were in the shop, seemed very happy with their selection. There are 10 seats inside at super cute tables and some tables and chairs outside. It's cute and comfortable. Stop here, enjoy the sweets and support this lovely local spot.

Pleasantly surprised stopping in here for the first time! I wanted to try their chimney cake and gelato, and it was quite the experience! The owner, Csaba, is super nice. He was friendly from the beginning and gave me and my friend a few flavors to sample. They were reeeeeeally good!! Definitely unique as the name of the establishment states! I love that the flavors are freshly made daily, and you won't find them anywhere else. I was surprised that I liked the Orange Basil and Cucumber, as those are pretty odd flavors for Gelato! I chose a scoop of each for my Golden Glaze Chimney Cake, and I handled the thing like a champ! Some people may say it's "too bready," but I thought the Gelato-Cake ratio was on point. Prices are higher than average, but you can't help inflation, and you are 100% paying for quality. The place is clean and inviting, although it is a bit warm when you step inside. There's a few tables and a couch inside, but they also have a small patio out front. Parking isn't a problem here at all, but it could get a little cramped during the week. I highly recommend this place for a UNIQUE sweet treat if you're in the area and you don't want what you usually get. ;) Next time I'll have to try a panini!

If you like gelato this is the place to go!!! It was hard to pick which flavor we wanted they were all so good. Their HUNGARIAN CHIMNEY CAKE was delicious. I was not impressed. Maybe because I read all the great reviews and expected something more. I will elaborate: 1. The server did not wear gloves. He has is mask on. He took my credit card without any protection and then took another person's credit card. I was frightened and wondered why I came here. 2. The flavors were not great. It did not linger in my mouth as I drove out of the shop. 3. The quantity is very small and for that small scoop the it was costly. no quality/quantity for cost. 4. The chimney cake is really not a cake. It can be called a sweet bun baked in a different spirally way. 5. I am not saying this place is bad. But , it was not good or extraordinary either. I did not have to drive 30 miles to eat this. in fact, it was quite ordrinary. read more

To start off... WHERE HAS THIS PLACE BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE!!! As soon as I found out about this place I raced over before they closed. Best decision I ever made. I had been waiting for a gelato place and THIS IS THE PLACE. You see all the flavors as soon as you walk in from coffee to watermelon, to salted caramel to tiramisu and so many more! The owner is a really nice guy too. I felt like a kid trying every flavor they had and it was sooooooo difficult to choose one. Also the pastries!! THEY'RE SO GOOD! The owner makes the Gelato every morning and bakes the pastries without any oil. If you haven't been to this place yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? Get over here and have some gelato ASAP! I was so impressed with the rasberry Rose flavor, you are greeted with a huge smile & a sample of almost every flavor gelato in the case or even a sneak taste of the mojito! The chimney cakes are delicious & made in front of you filled with gelato. It's a must for a quick sweet treat I am a fan for life. read more

This is the best ice cream in Temecula or rather gelato and they have sherberts too (gluten free and vegan). Because they hand make it themselves -- fresh. Their flavors are traditional like Chocolate and vanilla -- and also there's a wide unique selection to choose from like lemon rosemary, rose, Black cookies with coconut charcoal. Plus the owners are Hungarian so they make their country's traditional unique pastries that are spiral shaped and dipped in Oreos or cinnamon and sugar. You could even combine the two -- making it the cone. It's definitely a must try!! Now it's our go-to. read more

This little shop is sooo good. My friends and I stopped by this place after wine tasting and we wanted something sweet so we yelped somewhere nearby. This place is a bit hidden in a small plaza but we were able to find it. When we walked in, the guy was super helpful and so kind. He let us try the different flavored gelatos and it was so hard to pick which one we wanted. Ended up getting the opera and stracciatella in a cone, and it was amazing together. Didn't get to try the chimney cake but will come back next time for that! read more

I went here with my family and were warmly greeted by the owner who was very nice and offered as many samples my kids asked for. We decided on the gelato flavors we wanted and they tasted amazing. There were many flavors we'll have to try again another day. I also highly recommend the chimney cakes. Fluffy with just the right amount of crisp to it. We all loved the snacks and we'll definitely be back again soon! read more

Been wanting to try this place since they opened and, having won their Merchant Monday contest on Temecula Talk, I finally had a chance to! The owner himself greeted us and insisted we try as many flavors as we could to be sure we picked our favorite one. And for real, it was a hard choice because they were all amazing! I went with the Panna Cotta, Quella, and Opera flavors for my three scoops. The husband chose Mango and Raspberry Cheese. So Good . We also couldn't turn down a chimney cake and went with the simple cinnamon and sugar. Equally amazing! The owner told us it was his grandmother's recipe, which I love. My friend found this place on Yelp, and we decided to go since none of us have been here before. I was really only interested in the gelato at first, and it was really flavorful and sweet (I got strawberry). However my friends ordered a chimney cake and they let me try it. It was so good, I had to go back and order my own! It was fresh, warm, soft, and was just all around a really amazing pastry. I loved it and I'll be coming back for it! read more

The food is fresh with no additives or artificial colors and flavors, and you can taste the difference. It is the real thing! Unique Pastry is an incredible place to have the best gelato ever, there's all different flavors. The Chimney cakes are a bonus! It takes me back to being in Budapest. When my daughter saw that they have Kutos Kalaczs/Chimney Cakes she was sooooo excited and only wants to eat there! Also, the husband and wife team are such sweet people, they are always happy to see us when we come in for gelato. The establishment is very nice and if you are ever in the Temecula/Murrieta area, I recommend you stop by and taste their delicious gelatos, you will not be disappointed, I can promise you that! read more

We were in Temecula to check out a pawn shop when my son and I decided it was finally time to try this place. WOW. The owner was so nice and enthusiastically handed us samples of his gelato. They were all so good, it was hard to pick just three! It was almost closing time and he had run out of the chimney cones but gave me a punch card and wrote a free cone on it for the next time we come back which may be tomorrow! My son absolutely loved the cinnamon and salted caramel. I was a huge fan of the orange basil and panna cotta. I will definitely be getting the watermelon next time. A great experience and a huge plus that he's following the state pandemic guidelines. A MUST TRY!! I never write reviews but felt compelled to brag on this place as it was GREAT! Csaba Kiss Business Owner Like a child dreams of being a fireman or astronaut. Csaba Kiss had always dreamed of opening a gelateria. Csaba decided it was time to pursue his childhood dream. In December 2017, Csaba opened Unique Pastry Factory, in Temecula, Calif.,with Niki. Csaba combines his Italian roots and love of gelato, creating distinctive flavors made with Italy's world-famous gelato-making techniques and ensuring each batch of gelato is made with the freshest, highest quality ingredients. As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. Service from the staff members were all courteous, helpful and just wonderful, All was amazing, Cheers!!Recommend

The place has a selection of gelato flavors, which rotate regularly, making it difficult to know if your favorites will be available prior to going. A difficult thing to navigate with kids who have set preferences. The gelato itself is rather pleasing, with a few icy bites that, while slightly less than ideal, do not detract from the overall experience. Each spoonful delivers a satisfying taste, even if it doesn't quite reach the pinnacle of gelato perfection. If I may offer a gentle critique: the chimney cone left a lot to be desired. Although the concept itself is intriguing, the execution proved somewhat underwhelming. The cone seemed to lack that fresh made quality one might expect, with a texture and flavor reminiscent of a day old pastry. Considering the premium price point, this was somewhat disappointing. As for the ambiance, the place could benefit from a few enhancements. The dim lighting, quiet atmosphere, and absence of fellow customers created an experience that was somewhat awkward and not particularly inviting for a leisurely in store experience. The service was adequate, though not exceptionally memorable. Overall, this place offers a unique adventure with a few areas for improvement. read more

This place is amazing! The owner and creator of all the gelato uses all European ingredients in everything he makes. He rotates the unique homemade flavors each week, so you're bound to try something new each time you visit. The "chimneys" or Hungarian-style cones of baked bread are to DIE for, try one as an ice cream cone or eat it on the side while enjoying some gelato! They come just as they are or rolled in cinnamon sugar (definitely recommend). All gelato fruit flavors are DAIRY FREE, while the creamy flavors are made with 2% milk. This place also has some great looking espresso drinks made with Illy products (Italian espresso). Their are also a variety of other foods/dishes available, as well as smoothies. The owner is very inviting and will let you taste any flavor of gelato! I posted a photo of the "cookies" gelato with one of the bread cones rolled in sugar. read more

Best gelato ever! This was the perfect find for our first night in Temecula. It's a popular spot but the line moves quickly, and the cashier named Niki was the sweetest angel! Y'all need to give her a raise because she is so friendly. I got the small, which comes with 2 scoops, and my boyfriend got the 3 scoop medium. The small was plenty big for me because they're generous with servings. I got the mint chocolate chip and stracciatella, both of which were divine. The mint tasted like the actual herb, not like the processed kind you typically get at ice cream parlors. It was perfect. The stracciatella is also perfect and the best I've had. My boyfriend went with the fruit flavors, strawberry and lemon. I definitely recommend this spot and I'll absolutely be back! read more

We Love this little Mom& Pop Gelato shop, The Owners are so nice , customer service is always great ! They're so passionate about their business, the owner Csaba makes the Gelato every day fresh, they offer 16 different unique flavors of Gelato to choose from and they change the flavors ! The Orange basil, Avocado lemon and the Mojito is my favorite so far , we also tried the Hungarian golden glazed Chimney cake ,the texture of the outside is crunchy with a caramelized sugar, but the inside is a soft pastry ,so delicious ! Also I just want everyone to know ,they are following the Covid-19 safety guideline, they have hands sanitizer every tables, and every one has mask on! We have been to this place several times and always loved it. Covid-19 has kept us away and we miss d it. We were in the area and were afraid they would be another casualty to Covid. They are kind of away from things to draw you into their little storefront but they are worth it. We were surprised to arrive and see such a crowd but happy to see them doing well. Again their product is amazing and hand made daily. Their story is great to hear and know so ask. They are exactly what the name is, Unique, and we love it. We only go for the gelato but the paninis do look good and we should try them soon. Check out the chimney cones that are hand made right in front of you and again Unique. read more
