Walking in, the decor is very cute and vintage, making it feel like you're in a classic, old-school ice cream parlor. We took him up on that offer, and if a line didn't start forming right after we got there, we probably would've tried a few more flavors (he didn't rush us; that was completely our choice). I got a small scoop of the Cookie Monster flavor, and I was surprised at how big a "small" was, which was nice. My husband got a chocolate milkshake, and we could see him hand-making it for us, which was nice. The ice cream and shake both had a nice creamy flavor, which I think may be from the full fat milk. Price wise I would say they are very fair considering they don't skimp out. What I appreciated most was the friendly customer service. Aerostat is a good, quaint, storefront ice cream shop. There are a couple indoor tables and a setup in front of the store. Our malts and hot fudge sundaes were tasty and filling. We did not feel there was anything unique with our orders that we felt were a bit pricey. Having something with a "wow" factor would have warranted a higher price. In terms of the ice cream, it was airy and felt like it had higher fat content than most. There was also fine ice crystals as well, making the ice cream not as smooth. Personally, I prefer a more consistent texture, with more milk or cream base. The banana pudding flavor was good, but the pudding bits wasn't moist and was more coarse like muffin interspersed in the ice cream. Overall, Aerostat definitely provides a different texture from other ice cream establishments. It wasn't my favorite, but I think their flavors are authentic and worth trying! read more

Went in to try this place . We ordered a rocky road scoop and a vanilla cream soda . Rocky road was great and as it should be . The vanilla cream soda was bland and tasted like only carbonated water . They need to look at the base they use and fix it . There was not taste of vanilla or anything in this soda . My kids and I love the mint chocolate chip and cookies n cream ice creams. My wife loves Grammy's Banana Pudding and says it's the best ice cream she's ever had. The location is small but there's still plenty of parking and the seating (both indoor and outdoor) is sufficient. You may say that's pricey, but I'm pretty sure the price warrants quality ingredients. This definitely isn't the stuff you buy from stores in a tub. They make their ice cream fresh daily. In fact, when I arrived around 12:30pm, the ice cream was still a bit soft. Tyson warned me, but it looked fine, and it tasted great! If you like your ice cream a bit more firm, I'd suggest coming in at around 2pm. The environment is welcoming, and I was greeted cheerfully as I walked in, even while the party of 3 was being helped. Nice!! I hate when you walk into an establishment, and no one says a damn word to you. It's rude and certainly not the way to earn my return business. Kudos to Tyson and his team for that! Recently, my family and I made a quick trip out to Aerostat Creamery during their soft opening. They have a wide variety of desserts of homemade ice cream, root beer floats, banana splits (with you choosing which ice cream and toppings you'd like on top), and shakes! With their ice cream you can get the scoop or two or three or pints of their creamy homemade goodness! And yes, they do carry a few dairy free flavors! My husband is very simple and not very adventurous with trying new flavors so he ordered a scoop of their Cookies n Cream, while I shared a banana split with my son. My daughter had a scoop of their ice cream in a waffle bowl but I'm not exactly sure what she ordered. So many choices and flavors that I just decided on a traditional banana split with chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Their homemade ice cream is indeed creamy and delicious! If you're getting a scoop or two or three of their ice cream, you have a choice of a paper bowl, but you can also get a waffle cone or waffle bowl. If you order their root beer floats, you cannot only get it in a regular cup or how about in a fabulous cold glass mug to drink there? We love the decor as it totally has the ice cream parlor vibes. Came here for their happy hour. I tried two flavors of the ice cream. Both were excellent. We had them put into a shake. I do regret that part it lost a lot of flavor. It just tasted like milk. Yay! Finally another dessert spot near us. I've been waiting to see how this ice cream parlor would turn out. I didn't realize they were open. My family and I were supposed to get R&B Tea (next to this place). I decided to try this place while the others, not a fan of ice cream, got milk tea. May I just say, I love the vibe and theme this place executed. I haven't been to an actual ice cream parlor place asides from Disneylands lol I love the vibe it gave. Something retro. Something different in town. I wasn't able to get much info about their ice cream. They do make it in house (only info I got). I wish I could have taken a photo of their menu as well. But they serve ice cream, floats, shakes and banana split. They have the typical ice cream flavors and then they have the rotating flavors. I'm assuming those are going to be the ones that change either weekly or monthly. I was only about to try 2 flavors on the rotating section. White chocolate raspberry and banana chocolate nut. White chocolate raspberry I gave the taste a 7/10. Banana chocolate nut I gave it a 7/10 as well. Now for the quality, I give it a 5.5/10. I was expecting it to be creamier. Now as for the customer service wise, it was okay. Family felt a little awkward upon walking in. Everyone just looked at us. At first I thought it was a small opening for the business owners' family and friends only due to the energy. I think for how vibrant and lovely the place looks, more energy would be nice. Maybe adding little music or greeting customers more. At least welcoming the customers and giving a little story about the place. It wasn't busy either so there was time to network and connect with customers. Just a small feedback for the business! It wasn't bad. But it definitely could be more and better. Would I come back?
