I came in around 2:30 PM yesterday and explained exactly what I wanted done to my car. The lady at…read morethe front took very good care of me, and I waited while another vehicle was being finished. Once the tint technician finished that car, he started working on mine. Shortly after, another customer came in for two tint jobs, and the technician stopped working on my vehicle to work on theirs, even though I had already paid for my service. By 5 PM, he still did not want to finish my car. I feel this was very unprofessional and unfair. On top of that, my defrost lines are now damaged, and I may need to replace my entire windshield because of it. I would like a manager to contact me as soon as possible regarding this situation. At this point, I am requesting a full refund.

I brought my brand-new 2026 Subaru Outback Wilderness to Tito's Sound on August 15, 2026, for…read morewindow tinting. The vehicle was barely a week old. When the tint was completed, the front window tint was poorly cut and full of bubbles, and the windshield glare strip was extremely large and poorly installed. I immediately brought this to the owner, Tito Maranhao, who asked me to return the following day to have it corrected. After getting home, I discovered that the rubber weather stripping on both the driver and passenger front doors had been cut with what appeared to be a razor blade. I brought this damage to Tito's attention when I returned. He told me to have Subaru inspect it, get an estimate, and said he would take care of the repairs. Subaru inspected the vehicle and provided a repair estimate of $1,606. I sent the estimate to Tito, but instead of honoring what he had told me, he became angry, accused me of trying to take money from him, and offered only $300 toward the repairs. Unfortunately, Subaru also discovered that water had gotten behind the EyeSight safety cameras during the windshield glare-strip installation. The cameras need to be disassembled and cleaned because the water stains can interfere with their ability to see properly and potentially cause the safety system to shut off. I brought Tito's Sound a nearly new vehicle and trusted them to perform a simple tint installation. I left with damaged weather stripping and an issue involving a critical safety system. I have photographs, the tint receipt, and the Subaru repair documentation supporting everything described above. The total documented cost I am seeking to recover is $1,891.88 for the repair of the weather stripping and the cleaning of the cameras, which requires the door panels to be removed an the glass to be taken out as well as the cameras to be removed and cleaned properly. I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the workmanship and the way the situation was handled afterward. I expected much better care and accountability when trusting a business with a brand-new vehicle. DO NOT use this business, they will not hold themselves accountable for any damage done to your vehicle. I am now pursuing legal action, and have not only the damage to deal with but the headache of having to go through something that could have been resolved by Tito just doing the right thing. NEVER AGAIN.

I was going to go to the same over priced place and decided to try a new place. I remember a friend getting their windows tinted here and the quality was great so I decided to come in. I was greeted with the most respect I think I have had from anyone in years. I was explained the different films offered by Llumar and their purpose. Angelo asked about radio reception, Bluetooth, GPS and cell phone use as some films can interfere with those due to the "physical blockers" in the tint. I have owned a lot of cars and all of them have been tinted, I kind of knew what I wanted to begin with. The most amazing thing was I was actually explained the options and given a choice. I wasn't pushed on one film over the other- I was enlightened by his knowledge. This created an experience worth writing a review over. In addition to the exceptional customer service- (offered water, being asked if I knew of the area and local businesses/restaurants nearby, television with the remote while I waited) the film is great quality (Llumar speaks for itself) the quality of the installation and cleanliness of everything when I received my car was above par. I will definitely come back for any window tinting needs for sure! In addition, should I need any additional customizations (wheels, sound systems, etc.) I will consider them first!!

A few days later he installed the tint on our windows, was super clean, attentive to our requests and did an awesome job. He is a super sweet guy and a few days later I brought my 2002 BMW M3 which I purchased new in 2001 -she is my baby-I don't let just anyone work on her. Angelo replaced all of the old light bulbs placing LED bulbs making the old beauty stand out fresh & new & re-tinted the Windows film which was scratched over the years. I brought my car in to have the old tint removed from the back window. During the process, the technician used a steamer and managed to burn the rear deck speaker right next to the glass. This is clear physical damage that wasn't there before. When I pointed out the damage, the owner became immediately argumentative and unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed the "age of the car.". Rather than a constructive conversation, all I heard was a lot of noise and excuses, deflecting any blame away from his shop's workmanship. The bottom line is this: a professional service damaged my car and refused to acknowledge it or make it right. The combination of poor work, a damaged vehicle, and an owner who argues with the customer is a recipe I would not wish on anyone. Save yourself the hassle and potential damage. I do not recommend taking your car here under any circumstances.
