I am writing this review to strongly caution anyone considering using this business for window tint removal. My experience was terrible and ended with damage to my vehicle. I brought my car in to have the old tint removed from the back window. During the process, the technician used a steamer and managed to burn the rear deck speaker right next to the glass. This is clear physical damage that wasn't there before. When I pointed out the damage, the owner became immediately argumentative and unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed the "age of the car.". Rather than a constructive conversation, all I heard was a lot of noise and excuses, deflecting any blame away from his shop's workmanship. The bottom line is this: a professional service damaged my car and refused to acknowledge it or make it right. The combination of poor work, a damaged vehicle, and an owner who argues with the customer is a recipe I would not wish on anyone. Save yourself the hassle and potential damage. I do not recommend taking your car here under any circumstances. read more

Blame it on it being a factory problem just to get you to buy one of their horrible China amps that blow and won't work in one month then you come back because you have a one year warranty then they're always full. It's a four hour wait and it's an absolute horrible process. Please save your time and money and go someplace else. Had rear window tint done on my sports car mostly garage kept, don't drive it often in about a year I noticed the tint was distorted and hard to see out of very blurry and worse at night, brought it back to Dr. Sound, traveled from west palm over an hour, owner tells me it will cost $100 to replace cause I was out of warranty by 4 months, I claimed it was not a workmanship issue it was a tint problem he did not care, was rude and disrespectful, they use a garbage tint (other places warranty the tint for life) and do not stand behind it. had brought other cars to him and referred people but he did not care that one car had a problem and he would not honor only cared about the money, "stated he don't do anything without getting paid"., seen other complaints about them and their quality of work and its true one person I sent to him had to bring his car back 2 times to fix the the tint issue and that was a workmanship problem the worker got pissed at him for bringing it back. told the owner that I would put this on social media and his response was "go ahead". Do yourself a favor and don't deal with them. It's better to spend your money somewhere else. I just got scammed by this place. They installed an incompatible car stereo, even after I shipped it back to them with a tracking number to the correct address listed on the invoice. They damaged my paint I believe that the installer had chemicals on his clothes that's used to lift the old tint off and when he leaned on my car it damaged. I really wanted to go back the next day and file police report and Sue them but my husband is trying his best To rub it out with compound. It will never be the same. And I am heartbroken because I treat my car like a baby. I hand wash it every week and cover it with a cover when not driven. So if you're trying to save a few dollars by going to the swap shop. Dont!!!Don't!!!! And another thing that ticked me off was I noticed it right away as soon as they finish the car. I said to the man I pointed it with my finger I go what is this and he said don't worry about it just go to a car wash everything will come off. Well it didn't and I spent most of the time on Saturday on Saturday and hours on Sunday trying to get that mark off and we're still working on it. Im so upset! Although they agreed to fix it, it still hurts to see the car I work so hard for get messed up literally the next day I bought it brand new. I had a subwoofer and two amps that had on my previous car and all I wanted was to run the wires to install my amps and subwoofer to the factory speakers. They finished and later this week I noticed they drilled and attached my amps to my rear armrest. The screws were very unsafe and visible and tore my arm rests leather as well. Once again they offered to fix it but only after I raised hell. Initially they refused to fix it they only wanted to move the placing of the amp. Don't know Ill let you be the judge: The owner after initially denying to fix it later sent the "manager" to fix the situation. The "manager" was one of four who did the installation and caused the damage. We will see!! next day follow up. I hate to say it , but the owner of Dr. sound refused to fix my car unless I take my reviews down. So let's just say we're suing him. Unprofessional work. Took a radio to be installed and they screwed up everything. Used wrong brackets, scraped the dashboard, installed radio at an angle where the 2 top buttons do not work. when I complained the claimed they did not have the correct brackets so they used the wrong ones but I would have to pay $175 for them to reinstall the radio. The workers are decent and just trying to make a living. They have no administrative authority at this place of business. The two owners on the other hand are horrible... just completely horrible. They're slave driving racist pigs simple. So I cannot make any commentary on sound systems, etc. However, i've had many tint jobs done here at Dr. Sound. Today had to be the worst experience ever. They have one very crafty tinter named Pete; he has dreads, light skinned, mixed, with one or two gold teeth; very talented at what he does! Now, here's the deal breaker, to get him to tint your vehicle, you're either going to pay extra or you have to be of a certain color or caliber. If you come asking for a deal or discount, or maybe if your car is a Honda or Acura, or if you look dumb and you're not paying attention, the owners will have a newbie with no experience work on your car and you'll be going back to the shop over and over to get your tints repaired. When you go back and complain, the owners look at you like your crazy and blame the A/C or the anatomy and structure of the vehicle and YES the owners are very rude and abrupt. But today wasn't the day and they got the right one. I had to remind the two owners (so-called brothers from the Middle East) that they're dealing with an educated person and they will not talk to me in any tone or talk to me like I'm stupid. I came off of a 12 hour Night Shift; I'm a nurse and these two shit heads are acting like I want to keep coming to their shop and sit around and complain. I reminded them to respect their customers, as if it wasn't for us giving them business they couldn't drive their fancy cars, travel, or have a big house. They pay their workers shit and in turn they rush the work. They're in that demographical region doing business because they think minorities or people with less money are stupid. I told one of them off so badly this morning in front of everyone so all the customers can see who he really is. I set the stage to show everyone how these people talk to and treat their customers. The owner was cursing back and forth with me instead of just fixing my one windshield and Sending me on my merry way. Not only do they not stand by their work, they lie. My tint was perfect besides having a huge bubble. They fixed it then it was something else. The two owners were on vacation and Pete did my tint originally and I came back today due to a small scratch at the side; and they refused to allow Pete to fix it. They didn't even want Pete talking to me. The owner literally told his worker not to talk to me. They were too busy putting him to work on tints on this other Yukon brought in by two Guys from Europe. When I say I blasted the two owners... I told them how I see it; they have no class, they're trash, and they're slave drivers that prey on the weak. Simple. They can only run a business in that demographical area. They could never survive anywhere else including their own damn country with that behaviour. I told him to remember that he has a wife and a mother and maybe sisters. That business of theirs, Dr. Sound won't last another 5 years. They will mess with the wrong person who truly has nothing to lose and does not care or they will just lose so many customers and traffic that they'll lose it all. I left them with those words. I had them install a new radio and backup camera on a older car. The radio runner did not work. The installer didn't show me how to work the system. When I asked for the manual they told me to use you tube. They would not fix the radio that day and I had to come back. The installer left all the wire clippings in my car and the wrappings front m the radio. Since you pay in advance, you are at their mercy. Go find another shop. read more

Tint: crappy work and a ripoff with no refunds despite it not being done right the first time , it's Not worth the wait, money , or hassle! The owner is extremely rude, not professional, and is a cheapskate. Had to go back 4 times as tint was scratched and/or had too much dust underneath or not even attached in places. Each time the tint got worse so I just dealt with it. There is no quality check at the end! They just want to get as many people done and outta there. The Owner threatened with violence because I was tired of sitting around for an hour and a half each time to get it redone and it wasn't being done right. His exact words, after I said "no it should be done right the first time, no body has time to keep coming back. "You can come back 10 times and there will still be no refund, we will just redo it. I install my Boss radio on Sunday evening at 4.00 PM, it stopped working, I went back today they said that the radio defective, I don't believe that the radio is defective, their customer service is awful, they charge me more money to remove it in order to return it to seller. read more
