I have been going to this Dealer for over 15 years and they were once a great Dealer. Well, NO MORE!!! Since United Ag & Turf bought out North Country Tractor it has gone straight to hell. Since my last Tune-up of my Tractor with North Country Tractor, the price went up 41%. Additionally, their (United Ag & Turf) mechanics seem to be totally incompetent. Example: After they delivered my tractor back to me after a major service, I took the tractor out to do some yard work. Within 5 minutes the tractor overheated (needle in red). The problem was easy to fix. I checked the water level and found that there was no water in the radiator. I did not even call them to report their massive screw up. I was too mad and did not want even speak to these fools again. Find another dealer or you are asking for trouble, plus being charged way too much. read more

Well United AG. I thought they might get better (they used to be North Country Tractor...ewww) but no. My tractor broke down over a month ago it took them 10 days to pick it up (I live 3 miles from them) and three weeks after that I have yet to hear a status on its repair. I tried to go over there and get a status, "The service guy must be in the bathroom" I was told. I waited 10 minutes and walked out the door. Can you imagine not having your tractor during the summer, because nothing breaks down like a Deere, for over a month with no idea what's wrong with it, when it will be fixed, how much the $135/hour labor rate will turn out in the long run once they actually do look at it, and when I will get it back. Already missed 20% of the mowing season so far and with this level of service I am banking on 50%. PS my Honda lawn mower which was sitting in my shed for 8 years unused started up after I changed the oil and plugs and is working just fine which is why I am not livid at you at the moment. Well I finally got it back, after I had to call them a second time to ask "where the heck it was" they delivered it two days later than they told me on the first call and they charged me $350 which virtually was an oil changed due to a bad O-ring on, yeah you guessed it, a John Derre part, which they did nothing to help me with John Deere about. When I called the second time the person I was talking about said, "Do you want to talk to the service manager about how late this is and how we worked on the tractor without your authorization?" I said, "Have the service manager call me back after you tell him what's up and lert him think about it for a little bit then he can tell me what he wants to do next." A week later and crickets. Reading current reviews maybe the tide has turned. Being a non commercial end user made be think that my request for a quote for a lawn tractor would be at the bottom of a "call back" pile. Given that I got an immediate response from United Ag & Turf - Devin in Sales, that thought went out the window. Devin started the process and then Chris pulled together a quote within days and kept me informed up to the delivery date. The quote beat others hands down. Fast forward to the delivery date. Jake who delivered the tractor (right on time) walked me through all aspects of running, maintaining and care of the tractor and made sure that I was good to go. In the end It didn't matter that I wasn't a commercial customer I got five star treatment from Devin, Chris and Jake and recommend them an United ag & Turf - highly. George C. Northwood read more

I have bought numerous Lawnmowers and equipment from NCT, if only for the fact that there is really no other option nearby. I have however grown weary of their poor customer service and have recently purchased a new M.F. from Knoxland. The Sales guys at NCT are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to take the time and explain the equipment and help you decide which is best for your needs. The reason I am giving 2 stars, is because the service is HORRIBLE. Any time that I take a piece in for routine maintenance, or repairs it is almost 1 month to get it back. They will always tell you its going to be 1 or 2 weeks. When you begin to call the service girl and ask if its ready, she always makes an excuse and makes it seem like I inconvenienced them during the busiest time of the year.....Which apparently is whenever I need work done. Living on a farm it is very hard to go 1 MONTH without a piece of crucial equipment. That is why I will slowly be making the change to Knoxland. Even though they are much farther in distance the customer service is OUTSTANDING! SEE MY REVIEW. It's going to cost me more up front to sell off all my John Deere stuff and replace it but It is better in the long haul. Knoxland comes out to me free of charge, fixes things on site, or just helps me with any questions I have. They also haul machines for much less than NCT. It is unfortunate that NCT falls short after the sale. They have great products and a great sales staff. But.... You have to work hard even after the sale. And I do not see them doing that. read more

I tried to return of snowblower the year after I purchased it due to health issues, and they wouldn't take it due to their focus on only selling new machines. Don't support them. Updated: They tried to have a call with me after my review only to ask me to update the review, and not resolve the issue. In fact, the owner tried to bully me into updating the review. Such a jerk. I have purchased many pieces of equipment from NCT and they have been VERY helpful. When I have taken equipment in for service it has always been done on time at the estimate the gave me. Today I broke a part off my Stihl chainsaw, They did not even run it through service, they had the part and installed it as I waited. Mark (sales person) is VERY knowledgable on the products and is very helpful. I love NCT! read more

This place is all showroom for the new unsuspecting buyer and no follow through. I bought a lawn tractor from them a few years back. Recently I needed a back tire and asked for a replacement tire that was the same as my stock tire. I was significantly overcharged for the replacement and when I got it on the machine I noticed it was a completely different tread and a bit bigger in circumference. I asked to return it and they said their policy was they could not since it was installed. "Even if that wrong part damages your machine?" I asked. Management was no help. Stay away from this place, they have terrible customer service even for their "loyal" customers! read more

Pro - Great selection and friendly people Con- No business sense. I wanted to buy a mulching deck for my John Deere X350 lawn tractor. Cost not bad $169. However, install was $40 and to drive to my home which was only 21 minutes away the travel charge was $110...WHAT???? Whatever happened to great service? Why do people think they get to be paid to drive to a job site? I run my business and deduct miles as a business expense. I do not pass that on to the customer and charge them labor. I wonder if John Deere realizes their dealer is gouging the customer. I called the manager over and she very politely told me the charge was real. I then told her to buy a $169 piece of equipment I would pay an additional $150. Double the cost! So I told her John Deere loses a sale because of shady business practices. My advice, you would sell a lot more equipment if you did not try to screw the consumer with phony charges. after reading other reviews I am glad I did not give them my business it looks like their Service business is slow and not really trained well. Hears the good news. I found a company in my town that does John Deere install work and yes, does not charge for travel. I will buy the attachment online from another John Deere store who will ship for free and get this guy to install. In the end it all worked out...well at least for me. Bad news is this JD dealer lost a sale and a customer. Might want to rethink your business model! read more

I have to echo the customer service woes of others. Took them two weeks to do what was promised to be a 2 day job, with no communication about it unless I called them. Also: I made the mistake of paying up front. Don't pay these guys the full amount until you get your equipment back. Also disappointed that they didn't do anything extra in terms of checking anything else on the tractor - oil, tires, whatever. No courtesy 12-point inspection like you get for a third the price on your car. Deere is a premium brand with premium pricing. This level of service does not live up to it by a long shot. read more

Be prepared to wait awhile for equipment. Went to the concord location to buy a new a new tractor with a number of attachments and was told all would be there in two weeks, it's now been a month and I'm still waiting. If they had told me in the beginning that I would still be waiting a month later I would have gone to another dealership or another brand. read more

Bought a tractor (Concord NH) from Mark Dubious, wonderful sales and very knowledgeable person. Delivered the tractor with a belly mower, bucket and back hoe. Mark showed us how to connect, disconnect all the equipment including the hydraulic lines and all the little tricks to make it easy (releasing hydraulic pressure, connecting the lines, the two different RPM gauges and what the mean etc). Also purchased a snow blower, forks and cab (w/heater) shortly there after (but had everything delivered at once). I had questions galore about setting everything up and how to's in adding the cab and controls. I called on Mark multiple times and every single time he went above and beyond! A true expert that was always cheerful and there for us no matter how inexperienced we are/were. Everything from proper RPM speeds to fluid types and when to change them. How each control functions to different terrain and wheel drive configurations, Mark is truly the man to talk to! I will always buy through him, he is Way Above his peers as a professional and way above many other professionals! I don't know where the found him or what they pay him but he deserves a Raise! I called with a problem with my L100 lawn tractor. I did not expect the great response from the gentleman I spoke to on the phone. He took the time to talk to his tech and found out what my problem was. A.69 cent part I forgot to put in. They took the time to talk to me and explained a few things about my tractor. This was my first experience with them and it was ok, we all got a laugh when I picked up my part. I just ordered a seat from them and once again they took the time to look for it put it aside for me to pick. read more

The only John deer in area.The customer service is terrible they were going to repair a piece of equipment and had it for over a month . Which was not repaired.Went and picked it up. No apologies were given or the reason why it was not fixed. read more

This review is actual for the Dover branch. I am a pretty tolerant person, however I have hit my boiling point with these folks. I sent my lawn tractor in for service a year ago, and they mis-diagnosed the issue. I paid for parts and service I did not need. They then took the tractor and held it for weeks while a bigger more important job that came in after me was complete. After finally getting it back, I am having the exact problem. Instead of owning up to the misdiagnosis, I am asked to pay again for service and delivery on an issue that they couldn't seem to get right the first time. Clearly this is not a customer-centric organization. On top of it all, I was sold the wrong replacement belt for the blower attachement this winter. Thinking I was doing somehing wrong, I had to ask them to come out to help me replace which they did. Do you think they cut me some slack? Nope. I got a bill for $200 for the service call for a belt that cost a tenth of that. Do not expect this company to own up to their mistakes and make things right with their customers without charging you through the nose in the process. Seek your service elsewhere. I'm sorry I did not speak up sooner. This is the first review I have ever taken the time to write. That should speak volumes... read more
